Thanks for pointing out the bass response on the 75t. I agree, it's a step back, and I will not get the 75t because of that. Music should be heard as it was mixed in the studio, and maybe equalized to personal preference or to compensate for hearing loss. Artificially boosting the bass is like adding a ton of salt to everything you eat. Making your headphones do it is like adding a ton of salt to everything everyone eats.

There are a few things I prefer aviut the 65t. Better noise isolation as they sit deeper in the canal and so far there is a weird thing like I can hear that they are turned on. Idk how to explain that, hopfully you get it. For me it is kind of important as I like to go to bed while wearing them so can sleep through the morning when the world around me begins to wake up so I can stay asleep.
However, the 75t have some real meaty base, that is the very first thing you notice. Also more volume with these. The hear through feature is also quite good as with the 65t it still feels a bit muffled.
1 point am having an issue with out of the box is trying to update the software. Supposedly once the update has downloaded, you have to place the earphones baci in the charge box amd close the lid and the update will start which you will see from a purple light flashing, but that has not yet happened so idk what is up. 3 pros to 3 cons so far, just bought today so will see how they go

Can’t say enough good about the 65t active: owned them for over 2 years with 0 issues. Im a musician so i’m used to high quality studio headphones and while these are not studio quality by any means, the sound response is clear and accurate across the entire EQ band which makes for pleasant listening. Also for calls alone these headphones would be worth it - nobody can ever hear me until i pull out these bad boys and everyone says my voice quality is crystal clear when prompted.

Recently purchased 75t and I really like them. Sound quality is good but they are bass heavy as stated in review. The one thing I don't like is the ease of manually turning them off or on. Sometimes I don't have the case near by. To manually turn on/off you have to click the right and left buttons simultaneously for 1 second. Most of the time it doesn't work or they want to start pairing again. Other than that no complaints so far.

I purchased the Jabra Elite Active 65t. They are great for a few reasons. The pros are that a call from your phone uses both ear buds not just the right. It tells you who the call is coming from. The sound quality is very good. The only disappointment is that they are very bulky and heavy inside the ear. They do feel uncomfortable and rub the top of my ear which became somewhat sore after using them for about two hours. @@russell4824 Ok. If you look on the 65t earpieces, above the recharge contact points, there is an R or L for Right/Left. Perhaps I see that more easily as mine are the red-orange set and not a blue or black. If you open the charging case, the right side is for the right ear and the left side for the left. You cannot put them into the case in the wrong location as the fit is contoured for each one. The case is contoured for the earpieces (Right only fits into the right side) and each ear piece is contoured for each ear (you cannot fit the opposite ear piece into the opposite ear. You have to put the correct one in or it won't fit). So, I am very lost but you do make a good point. There's nothing wrong with L and R being highly visible.

Can the left work independent of the right..
The passive noise cancellation is good for us the user, but the person on other end is gonna hear alot of noise.
Try talking on a busy street, and the only thing other person will hear are sounds of cars. The mics over sensitive to surroundings.
Can i put in one ear and wife put in the other ear and we both watch a video and hear together?
The 65 had very short range between em, Infact the signal between em was so weak, many wifi routers can desrupt it and you would keep getting disconnected and reconnected because the left and right plugs would fail maintaining establishment. (only happens on some wifi routers when WiFi router has strong signal near you)
I bought 4 65t actives for family. And I haven't used any other buds to compare with,
But I think technology is advance enough for this to not be more than 90 usd and that its quality could have improved further with range, and I dependencies on each other.
I had to return One because it shrilled after 5 days and died.

      @LinxMobile Před 4 lety +4

Most of these questions should have really been covered in ANY review but obviously this reviewer didn't think so.
Here you go, the "passive noise cancellation" is in reference to the user, i.e. will it block out noise on an airplane. The answer is yes. I've actually had to pull these out of my ears to answer someone right in front of me. Fortunately there is a button feature that will allow you to enact the "hear through" mode which is a big help.
Unfortunately the left DOES NOT work independent of the right which at this point I think every bluetooth buds should have as a standard feature.
As far as 2 different people using the same pair, I've honestly couldn't answer.
Now for the most important thing for me...microphone call quality. I have no idea why this has taken until 2019 to get right, but Jabra has FINALLY done it. The 65t mic clarity was great, however there was absolutely NO MIC NOISE CANCELLATION whatsoever! Essentially whatever noise was near you was coming thru full blast into the ear of the person you were speaking with. Now they have finally addressed this major flaw and while keeping mic quality.
I was using the Samsung Galaxy Buds which were great for many things, but mic call quality was not one of them. Since I've been using the Jabra 75t model, people have commented how much easier it is for them to hear me when we speak. Hope this helps.

On my 65 t active when some one pours water into their cup in the kitchen and I am in another room parallel with door open, the person with whom I speak hears the water being poured loudly and isn't able to understand what i say!
On busy streets, the mic picks up every damn noise and sends it to the other person and he won't understand a word i say as my voice gets mixed as noise.
It appears that this has been solved from your comment on the 75t.
However, left unable to work independently, and unable to share headphone with another user will not convince me to upgrade or recommend yet this to anyone.
A colleague of mine bought some duplicate airpod copy and it works longer, works just as good (no waterproof) great bass, has magnetic pods as well magnetic enclosure, and has independent plugs as well as ability to share headphone with another person. All for 45 usd.

I mean the $350+ ones are probably good for sound but are too bulky and wouldn’t be adequate for the gym or daily activities outside of your home. The jabras fit good and have good battery but the sound is underwhelming. I bought the 75ts yesterday and the left earbud is constantly cutting out and when I say constantly I mean every literal second the sound in them is flickering on and off making them unlistenable. Also their website states that you can connect them to the playstation 4 which is the only reason I bought them and no you can’t connect them. They used false advertisement to manipulate customers which is a big red flag. So now I ordered the airpods pros and am waiting for them. Hopefully they don’t break on the first day like the jabras and have better sound for me, if not Im done with wireless and will buy wired headphones until someone creates the first good wireless headphones under $250.

Massive booming bass? The main difference in these is that the 75T has improved low frequency extension - it reaches deeper. Booming bass is 60-100Hz bass. Bass that just punches your eardrums. Lower than 60Hz is rumbling bass, bass that you can feel. And that's a good thing.

Im on my second pair of 75t the design is better but the 65t had much better music quality and mic quality. With the 75 t people im on the phone with can hear the slightest background noise as if its right in their ear. The hear through doesn't work as well on the 75t. They also don't announce the caller I.D like the 65t did. Ive had huge issues with connectivity and I found the battery life does not last as long as the 65t even though I used the 65t WAY more throughout my day. The build quality of the 75t case is also very poor i cracked the case just from them taking a light fall because the hinge is very structurally weak. Im not sure if i just got two duds with the 75T but overall the 65T were built better and worked much better then what I've experienced in the few months of owning the 75T. I think they made build quality sacrifices in order to achieve that smaller more polished look. But what use is a good looking headset that feels like a downgrade when put to actual use compared to the predecessor?
