The app is a must have with these earbuds. The sound quality for music can be dramatically improved with the equalizer options, you get control over the various listening modes, and the ambient sounds are a super nice feature.
Make sure you turn off the EQ on your iPhone and use the App EQ only . The sound is cleaner and the volume improves also . The improvement is noticeable. While listening turn the phone EQ off and on . You can tell the difference.
I am a little confused by 18:03 - "phone earphone which cannot call". This is a feature I use. When I push the button on the right and hold for a few seconds I get a tone, then the double tone where I ask it to call someone. So as far as I am aware this feature does exist and works. Maybe since the time this review was done this feature was added. I purchased Nov. 2018. BTW this was an awesome review, very thorough.
You can also buy memory foam ear tips to fit smaller ears ... as i had 2 do ... name is : Comply premium tips .... smart core ... sport pro ... they fit and work ... very comfortable ... also you can purchase ear wings and tips from jabra .... 4 a better fit ... you just have 2 try until u find the right ones ...
I had the left earbud on a bose cutout like you say ... i traded them in 4 the jabra active and it has a perfect connection no drop outs ... you could of got a bad set ...
I have tried and used almost every sport BT earbuds, earphones, all of them, and to me the Jabra Elite 65T are the absolute best for phone call quality. No question. Get them, they are awesome.
Good review. One question. Can we answer a call with left bud while the right bud is in the case? Apple users able to answer calls from Airpods in this way.
I own these. Can you confirm if the volume rocker on the headset moves the Bluetooth volume slider on your phone? My headphone volume is independent of the phone Bluetooth volume
When I use it on an android device it gives me independent volume on the phone and the headsets but if I use a iphone then the volume control is same on the phone and the headset.
@@KenKnowsMore can you provide instructions? The Jabra site says not "optimised" for laptop and when I tried to connect to mac, it did not show up on the list of devices. I have mac os 10.10.5. Does that make any difference? Also, they dod nto connect to my windows laptop, but that may be a laptop issue.
Ken Knows More thx, I did actually update to the latest firmware but same issue, I had similar problems with the Samsung and Bose, I guess so I believe it's related to my huwaei phone itself and not the speakers

I use Google Assistant with my 65t. There was a recent update and it works great. I love my Jabra 65t.

Another point to note as I realize not many are aware, is that the charging case isn't magnetic so it may fall off easily for some people.
they are good i have use them for more than 6 months and have 4 to near 5 Hrs battrey compare to jaybird run only have 2 to near 3 hrs at most.
Is it have and connection issue i heard that the left is disconnected many times ?

You mentioned the problem with calling while using Alexa. But is there such a problem with the other voice assistants? Google for example. Thx
Other voice assistants work fine with no issues.
When you put on the jabras midway through a phone call or watching a video will the audio transfer automatically from the phone to the earbuds?

You can try jabra elite sports edition. That has a better ip rating and has the same hardware as the elite 65t. The sound quality should be good to.

No it will not work.

Does the eq setting stay with the earphones when switching audio devices?
No it does not, the equiliser on this is not like the jaybird F5 which gets set on the firmware. When you switch audio device the sound will change.

Currently there is no windows option.
I've never had a problem with the left earbuds cutting in and out.

It's a phone specific issue. For example, Samsung gives an option in audio settings to bind phone volume with connected device volume.

The earphone may have gone off, you can switch it on and off by pressing the volume down button for 3 seconds.

Right key on mine doesn't do anything, maybe an Android issue
I have used it on Android and iOS both. The key is working for me. Try updating the firmware from the Jabra sound + app.
