I was working at a restaurant waiting tables and this one slimy bro bartender would occasionally point out women he found attractive to me in order to see if I agreed or not 🤷‍♂️. I never felt comfortable enough to point out any myself, only ever gave a fake “oh yeah sure…” or “meh not my type” to his suggestions.
Anyway one lunch shift he goes “dude… table X”. I already knew what he was getting at but it didn’t click right away that the table he mentioned was in my section. That’s when I stopped and thought to myself “wait I was just there…🤨” It was a grandma aged woman (60s) with I presumed was her granddaughter (14 MAX!). I go over to the bar to grab my order and say “hey I think you got your tables mixed up…”. He goes “uh no… table X, the younger one… [too gross to repeat]”. I look at him disgusted and baffled “what, dude! She’s like 14!”. Without missing a beat he looks up at me with a pervy glare and goes “Grass on the field. PLAY BALL!” as he mimes a bat swing.
I just couldn’t participate (even halfheartedly to fit in) with his “game” after that. Luckily he was fired for stealing not too long afterward thank god.
These gross idiots are EVERYWHERE sadly.

That's a good thing, because in the wild a baby crying and screaming may attract predators, thus putting everyone in danger. Plus there's nothing wrong with being a trans guy, knowingly or not, and doing it for the dysphoria. In my case I did it for BOTH reasons.. Mine were big enough to cause social and physical problems, and I was very eager to get rid of them. I barely needed time to think about it-- there was no downside for me whatsoever. My only regret is that I didn't know I was trans at the time. I would have gone straight for a chest masculinization surgery instead. Now I have to do that separately.

I started my period at 9 years old- the fact that these people think that it meant that my less than 80 pound child body was ready to have children, and 'my womb wanted one' is sickening and foul. My body would have been destroyed, and as someone with disabilities and mental illnesses who *already* struggled as a child, I would have been even worse off. Utterly disgusting and evil of them.
    Edit:
I didn't realize how many people would see this- I originally just made this comment a bit as a vent, and I'm sorry to anyone who relates to this comment and ever has felt treated like less than human or disgusted by others words or actions. Watching this as a girl who got her period very early - 8y/o, obviously not frequent but yk - and breasts that developed very quickly (went up 3 cup sizes in less than a year), some of these ideas are just so wild to me. Like, no? I was not ready for children at 8 thank you very much. Yes I do think that teenagers getting breast reductions because they are a DD at 14 is good for them. No the stretch marks all over my body (hips, breasts, thighs etc.) are not because I'm fat, my Skinsuit just didn't like my rapid growth when I was 12. No when my nipples showed through my top as a 15 y/o it was not because I was a w***e or slut or what-say-you, it was because there are no padded bras that are easily affordable and I got very cold during 3 degree winters. I swear these people cannot be real. And if they are they have very clearly never been out in public before or spoken to a woman ever.

Anatomy comes in a) 4000 variations of intersex, b) even within what's considered male or female there's an incredibly wide spectrum, no two bodies are the same, it isn't clear cut what a man or woman looks like, c) trans people exist and are the gender their brain tells them is right (just like a cis person's brain tells them their gender!), therefore, their bodies are also part of that gendered experience. People sexualise Breastfeeding a baby are insanely out of touch or closet perves I swear! My dad yelled at me after my niece was born because mid conversation my sister had to feed my newborn niece and casually started Breastfeeding like a normal mother would, but I didn't leave the room or turn away to give her privacy. My sister and I looked at him and laughed it off then she went on to explain we were mid conversation, I was mid sentence when she started Feeding my niece, and she's my sister so it's not like she was worried I ogle her breasts just because they were out (helps that I am also a gay male). Even better was my sister had the feeding blanket for privacy but specifically said "So glad I don't need to use this right now, it's way to warm for her (my niece)" to let me know she was comfortable feeding in front of me.

    • @diamondseraph9369

      Agreed.
Like, if I were a mother I wouldn't feel comfortable breastfeeding in public/in front of people...but that's just because I don't feel comfortable with that kind of thing at all. I don't even like showing off the skin of my _THIGHS_ because I'm just not comfortable showing skin. And even then that's primarily because growing up society has told me that showing skin is sexual/attractive/like showing off my body and I don't know if it's because I'm asexual or what but that just makes me uncomfortable so I've just always been rather conservative to the point that I always wear things underneath my dresses and stuff even when it's floor length.
It's stupid that society sexualizes literally everything about women _ESPECIALLY_ breastfeeding since that's probably one of the _LEAST_ sexual things about us!
You're just feeding a baby it shouldn't be such a big deal.

@@diamondseraph9369 I do want to say, I feel similarly about showing off my body even if for different reasons (I even wear camis over my bra & under my shirt, and ladyboxers over my undies, even in pants), BUT once my kid needed to eat, she NEEDED TO EAT & I had no shame. 😂 I mean, I wasn't a "expose both boobas while nursing" mom, I was very discreet (nursing tank under a t-shirt ftw) AND she was in her sling 98% of the time while eating (cuz once she was outta the newborn stage, I had things to do 😁), but when she was hungry, she ate, & woe to the idiot who tried to say anything.
Early on, I was waiting for the bus when she was hungry, & it was the 1st time I'd had to feed her in public, so I found a bench in the terminal that was kind of behind a wall to sit & feed her. An elderly woman approached me & as I started to worry that I was gonna have to stand up for my kid's right to eat, she stopped in front of me, patted me on the hand & said, "you're a really good mom", which honestly kinda made me cry a bit. And thankfully, I had very few encounters with idiots while we were on our "nursing journey". 😊
Also, wearing a nursing tank in a similar color as your shirt makes things a LOT less obvious. And I have big boobas (which got bigger while nursing, obv), but a baby's head is fricken HUGE; at no time was my nerple exposed & cuz the tank was the same color as my shirt, it honestly just looked like I was holding my baby, not feeding her. I had even surprised a couple people who came over to coo over the baby, cuz they didn't realize I was feeding her. This was especially amusing the time I was shopping & my kid was just big enough to nurse without outside help, so she was snacking away in her sling whilst I shopped & some random dude came over & started to pull her sling back a bit to peek at her (the idea that people (& dependent offspring) become public property & it's assumed to be totes fine to touch & comment on them upon the moment a visable uterine bump is established is a WHOOOOOLE other issue 🙄) & he freaked himself out when he realized she was eating. It happened so fast I didn't even have time to react, but he was so apologetic that I bet he NEVER tried that again! 😂
ANYWAY, the point of this dissertation was just to say, don't sweat it; if you decide to have kids and decide to nurse them, there are plenty of options available to make it easier to do without being obvious that you're doing it and/or exposing yourself, thank goodness. Cuz in no way would my kid tolerate a cover of any kind, and even though I had been pumping & bottle feeding (she had some issues at birth, so it took her a month to figure out how to latch properly), once she figured out how to properly nurse, she wouldn't even consider a bottle - it was straight from the tap or nothing. 🤣

My son walked in right when you laughed about women only having 1 hole and started grilling me on female anatomy... He's 12. I wound up drawing him essentially a medical diagram showing the bladder connecting to the urethra in both males and females... So thanks for that 😅 however, he did note the length difference in the urinary tracts and asked if that's why boys are less likely to get bladder infections than girls. I loved witnessing that logical leap

I had talked to the ultrasound tech about it later but he had never really asked about it but I guess he'd been wondering the whole time 😅 teachable moment for me to, to explain things even if he doesn't ask directly or at least ask him if he understands or has any questions

"pregnant with twins means she's cheating" I'm pretty sure this guy heard like an ancient greek myth where Zeus' shenanigans with a married woman resulted in twins where one was a demigod and was like "yep, that makes enough sense for me" and based his entire worldview around it.
Also, can somebody please ask these "freshness seal" advocates what they think a period is? I'm desperate to know how they think it works if they believe there is an impenetrable barrier in the way.

    • @kathleenwoods8416

Well, its mostly about making the human body out to be moral proof of that admittedly narrow world view. I'm half way certain that someone whose already convinced themselves of that isn't really thinking about the use of the body outside of those desires and expectations anyway.
Its like how the ancient Greeks didn't think mothers were related to their children, the moral, social & financial values of that society became the way they viewed biology to the point that even modern acknowledgements of matrilineal influence are treated with suspicion.
For someone who thinks a 'freshness seal' is a thing in nature, the rest of human biology might be viewed that way. As suspicious because it isn't morally convenient to them.

On the breastfeeding thing: even if you feed your children breastmilk from a bottle there are other benefits they miss from not being allowed to nurse that cannot be replicated, FOR BOTH THE MOTHER AND THE CHILD. 1. The act of nursing changes the shape of the baby’s esophagus and more significantly it’s inner ear canals . This reshaping has been correlated with lower rates of speech impediments and lower rates of ear infections in children who were breastfed as infants rather than bottle fed. Breast feeding has also been shown to speed up the process of the womb returning to its original shape after pregnancy. Also skin to skin contact in general has been proven developmentally good for the infant and psychologically good for the mother. Stop trying to sterilize nature 😭.
