    omg this was so helpful i always read the whole paragraph

    • @score-yourcollegecounselor
      @score-yourcollegecounselor  Před rokem +1

      I almost never do, unless it's either really short or it's written in such a way that I have to. With these I like to read that first sentence then the underlined one. Vocab, grammar, punctuation, just that sentence with the blank and the one before/after depending on the situation. More complex cases like supporting claims or data I typically read backwards, find the claim, go back a sentence for context, first sentence for topic.

      @@score-yourcollegecounselor i just took the practice test 4, and by not reading the whole paragraphs i saved 10 minutes to check all the questions which was a lifesaver! your efforts are incomparable, thank you

      AWESOME! Makes me happy to hear that, seriously it's probably the most effective strategy, when you read with purpose, getting exactly what you need, you get good results.

    Thank you so much for the free resources you’re providing us! I was wondering,though, how can I get the answers to the questions in the pdf? I tried opening the files in google docs and Lumint, but nothing is showing the right answers.

    • @score-yourcollegecounselor
      @score-yourcollegecounselor  Před rokem +1

      Yeah you have to download them, Google Docs doesn't actually open PDFs, it just previews them. If you open them in Chrome/Edge or Adobe Reader when you download them, the buttons work.

      I really like you stuff which you ave provided us . I also practise by your materials but I too have a Ai tool. @@score-yourcollegecounselor The question which I get wrong , I discuss with it to get the detail and logic of that question. I have found that many of the answers , which you have given and which the Ai tool is giving to me , are contradicted. I am confused which answer is correct. Will you kindly see you answers and verify whether they are correct?

    • @score-yourcollegecounselor
      @score-yourcollegecounselor  Před 8 měsíci

      I really wouldn't rely on ChatGPT or some other AI tool to answer these questions. AI only takes the most 'likely' answer based on inputs and doesn't actually analyze it. I'm not going to review what an AI does. I studied education and have been an English teacher for over a decade. You can decide what you trust more.

    I had one question, if we get the right answer in the first option then should we use time on looking other options or move forward in the actual test

    • @score-yourcollegecounselor
      @score-yourcollegecounselor  Před 11 měsíci

      If you're confident it's the right answer, move on. I do generally recommend taking a good look when you get literature, supporting claims or data questions, as those can sometimes have another answer that's not technically wrong, but isn't as good as other options. But for things like vocab/punctuation/grammar/sentence function, usually the right answer is fairly clear and you shouldn't spend a lot of time checking every option. Remember your goal is to use 1 minute per question at most.

      Because it doesn't explain anything that Europeans did. It also doesn't mention any revolutions.
