- Welcome to Quick & Dirty Tips for the easy way to raise your SAT English score!
This series is specially for August Digital SAT test takers, and I'm going through the advanced topics of the Reading & Writing. Today's specific topic is Inference.
1. Recognize that this is an Inference question from the wording "Which choice most logically completes the text?"
2. Focusing on the last two sentences, determine if the last sentence CONTINUES or GOES AGAINST the previous ideas.
3. Put the ideas together in a whole statement, which will be conditional, NON-specific, and NON-extreme!
For more details, and clarification, please watch the whole video. I truly believe it will be helpful. And always, thanks for coming to the channel!

The strategies are specific to the type of question. Yes, more Inference questions are on the way!
Please more inference questions
Sure thing! Do you have specific examples you would like to see explained?
@SexyJ no now I don't have but if I find I will send
cant understand why it isnt good but why did you write good but is bad?you are confusing a lot.
The organization of this passage is a pretty common: "there is something good, but there is also something bad."
In this passage, the organization is like this: "the rabbits have a good effect on the plants, but the rabbits also have a bad effect on the plants."
The main point is whatever comes after later, which in this case is the BAD effect.
I apologize if the writing was confusing, but my videos are very very audio-focused, so if you slow down the video and listen to what I'm saying, it may be easier to understand.
Thank you for your feedback. It was helpful for me 😀
@@SexyJ @SexyJ so, what I meant to say is that you told that we need to focus after the word "however" in this case, so the first half after that says that "rabbit-inducted soil displacement can promote loss of biodiversity by accelerating disease dissemination" which means that where there are rabbits, there is decline of biodiversity due to spreading of diseases, i think that is a very negative/bad thing. The other half says that "kicking action of rabbits", I think it suggests that kicking rabbits can be a good thing because when there were rabbits before they used to spread diseases. So, my question is how did rabbits have a both good affect but also sometimes bad affects on plants?where did you get sometimes bad from?where is it stated?
@vadish8304 you are literally quoting the parts that are the evidence. Loss of biodiversity=bad effect (not affect, which is a different word and cannot be used as a verb).
@@SexyJ thank you for replying, but can you answer my questions
1. Is Khan academy the best way to practice for digital sat?
2. Do we need to memorize all the vocabulary for the digital sat?
@vadish8304 1. A the moment Khan Academy is the best way, but what I've heard from my students is that the March test, especially the math, was a lot harder and different from the Khan Academy questions.
2. Yes, you do need to do vocabulary memorization.
