    Thank you so much for your help. I ended up having to drive 3.5 hours to take my test but I passed the first time thanks to some of you videos. I noticed there was a mild difference in teachings between teachers. Fortunately I was able to get clarification from the proctor basically stating the handbook sets the rules and not to waste time with unnecessary steps when possible. Again, I thank you from the bottom of my heart. ❤

    Skills were : Handwashing, Respiration, Ambulate from bed 10 steps and back to bed, Side lying Positioning, and Female Peri care ❤

    I take my test 9/4/23
    I wish I would have found you sooner. You make it so simple on your videos. Some videos I've watched had too many steps and it takes a lot of time to do the steps.

    They updated the steps for credentia and you do now need to be gloveless when checking water temperature 3:18
    (Also thank you for your work ma’am)

      Hello, I just checked the 2024 Credentia Guidelines. There is NO mention for the candidate to GLOVELESS when checking the water temperature. Can you please provide proof of your statement? We don't want people to be confused by your comments.
      SKILL 19 - PROVIDES FOOT CARE ON ONE FOOT
      1 Explains procedure, speaking clearly, slowly, and directly, maintaining face-to-face contact whenever possible
      2 Privacy is provided with a curtain, screen, or door
      3 Before washing, checks water temperature for safety and comfort and asks client to verify comfort of water
      4 Basin is in a comfortable position for client and on protective barrier
      5 Puts on clean gloves before washing foot
      6 Client’s bare foot is placed into the water

    Thank you so much I passed my skills test yesterday 6/29/2024, I watched your videos everyday from 3/16/2024 to 6/29/2024. I walked in that testing room with so much confidence, ( passed on my first try) thank you thank you thank you, I will say tho you don’t have a video of taking Blood Pressure and that was my measurement skill😮 will you make a video of taking Blood Pressure?

    Question: why on more than a few skills the bed is lowered before you finish the skill and other skills it is not. Can you lower the bed on all the skills before you complete the skill and not get dinged?

      Hello, When performing the state exam skills, the best thing to do is to follow the steps outlined by the state.

      Hello, for the foot washing skill, the student ONLY has to verbalize hand washing.

    It doesnt say to use a clean area of the wash cloth with each stroke so i dont have to do that right? Just wash the foot & the toes

      Hello, When the student rubs the lotion in their hands, the student is warming the lotion. The instructions state NOT TO PUT THE LOTION BETWEEN THE TOES. The student is expected to put the lotion ON TOP of the toes.

      Hello, The state does not require the student to wear gloves. Therefore, it is optional if a student wants to wear gloves during this skill. The wearing of gloves will NOT be counted against the student for this skill.

    After she washed her hands , and explicitly used a paper towel to turn off the water because the faucet handles are not clean, how come she doesn’t wash her hands after touching the basin ? Same logic that the faucet handles are dirty is the same logic that the basin is dirty.
    Might as well think everything is dirty and just keep washing hands.
    Overkill…and they make such a fuss over the minutiae and forget that the patient is losing patience

    Good videos but too long, please talk less or faster students only have 30 min to do all skills when testing
