  • Check out the build video! - • Razor MX650 to MX3000 ...
    I installed new handlebars, throttle, brakes, and rear sprocket on my Razor MX650. I also fabricated a battery box for my 3, 20Ah 6s lipos. Bike now hits 45 mph and still has amazing torque.

    For a couple hundred bucks you can get a mountain bike shock for the rear that will greatly improve your ride. Less crashing more control

    Nice update, your original video inspired me to do a build. I went 48v and 2000w motor, skipped the Kelly Controller for now but it's still a huge upgrade. I'm using the same batteries except they are 14AH, two in series. I have been thinking of how to do a battery box, so thanks for showing how you did yours for ideas.

    Great work. I assume with the high end cars in your driveway someone taught you how to work with tools at a young age. So very smart. But when we are young we can be a bit reckless. Just be careful 45mph can really hurt or worse.

    You definitely need to upgrade the tires, I have 16x3 and a 10x3 on my Mx650 w/ 48v 2000w and the tires changed the bike completely for the better, they are balanced street tires that perform so much better on pavement at speeds above 30 mph.... Also I can post a shock and fork upgrade kit that will eliminate that risers for the handlebars and make it look stock and can hold a 250 lb person on jumps, there's even a guy that makes headtube cups so you can fit pitbike forks but it's alot easier and cheaper to do the fork spring upgrade. Nice work on the battery box but you might want to get some edge protection for that sheet metals it doesn't scratch the power cables... I've seen bikes explode in the middle of the woods because of frayed wires so be careful bro, you already crashed once, and trust me, you don't want to crash and burn. It hurts more.... LoL

    • @tonyjustensen706
      @tonyjustensen706 Před 2 lety

      Please tell us where to get the headtube cups. I've got the longer springs/bolts and they certainly help, but the fork on these bikes is pretty bad. It's especially bad for us fatter and taller riders.
