No wonder Xabi's managerial career so far is good. He has such a fine understanding of the game. Not many players turned managers have this level of understanding.
He was coached by mourinho, guardiola, ancelloti, benitez and del bosque. He was both defense player and offense playmaker. It would be incredibly surprising if he wasnt a good coach
His father was also a Professional coach and like the comments say he was also anointed by some of the greatest managers too.

I was there, watch every game. Not the best era AT ALL. Incredibly boring watching 2 teams dominate football and sometimes Bayern Munich, Chelsea.

Every era had their dominant teams. But as far as overall excitement I think it definitely was the best era. Classico’s were full of drama. The players looked like they wanted war. It could also be because I’m an 80’s baby I’ve enjoyed it more because I was the perfect age to consume all football with no stress or responsibilities of life. But now it doesn’t taste the same.

I remember him playing as a forward and as midfielder vs Liverpool at Anfield in 2019. He was truly carrying that barca team in 2019.

He’s so well rounded now from arguably the best defensive coach oat to best possession manager oat plus a mastermind like Ancelotti who always figures out a way to win. This man is set to becoming one of the greatest coaches in the world.
