- Whats up WeldLab Fam! The day has come a, welders worst nightmare x-ray time! I will also show you how to repair a root pass using 6010. If you want me to make a video on doing more repairs let me know!
That boy Rico badazz! I want to have one on one with you in the future to help me out with some stainless 🔥
Stainless is my specialty ! Keep in touch got something big on the way !
As a weld inspector, it's dope seeing guys that care about their work quality..
thanks for watching 💯
My man Rico. Thank you for the videos. It is so nice to have someone like your explain what your doing and willing to help us and give us positive encouragement and not negative sh*t that a lot of people do. Much respect to you. Wish you would come to NJ and open a school here. I would be interested in partnering the start up cost you would just have to teach it. No welding class within 100 miles of me and i know tons of people who want to go. Just cant make it happen with their jobs they currently have to hold before they can get certified welding
Good to see you helping others. As a non-welder, I find your videos interesting, helpful, and makes me want to learn for fun.
Good stuff Ricco, I'm not a welder but i own two of them and i enjoy welding scrap steel in my garage. I always look forward to your helpful tips.👍👍👍
I love your videos bro, they give me courage, as well as more knowledge. Keep em coming weld lab.
Thanks for supporting the channel fam
This is the second time I've been watching your good videos I also appreciate your good comments and how you're teaching skills are going as you're learning the trade I appreciate those good skills that you teach as you are doing your videos also when you have a chance get a bee stinger rod holder because they're one of the best and that's what I've been using for the last 16 years
Badass when I was in the field as a welder helper I came across a lot of welders that was salty about teaching they helped or fitter. So good soul big bro.

I wish I had a freind like you around when I was younger coming up . I rode solo.... before people welded to survive or cared about welding because of money .. I have been through so much hell in my welding life and career but having a buddy like you around when I was younger would have raised my spirits so much .. . I'm not that old but I'm a diehard welder and I ride with my welding family ... Listen to this man he has a huge passion for welding and his career , we love welding and that clean money we all have to have to survive 🤣🤠🦅💪

🤟🏼
With carbon pipe it depends on what code 1104 or 31.3 I’ve welded carbon where any suck back on the root had to be repaired. Depends on the owners and what they will let by and the code
I got all happy for the homie Sosa!! 👍🏾✊🏾
yeah man you can tell by his face he was happy lol

Bien hecho 👍🏻
That's good looking out that's why I follow you cuz u do the dew
HellYeah nice work bro!! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Thanks homie
A video on what passes x ray and what doesn’t would be great!
To our friends outside the United States. The field downhill of pipe is used to prevent excess heat ( joules ) as going uphill can be done SLOWLY which overheats the pipe and even when it looks good the alloy of the pipe ( HAZ heat affected zone ) now may be compromised. With downhill the weld puddle will spill over the rod and have porosity. Heavy schedule 160 wall may be welded uphill as the heat is absorbed by the massive thickness of the pipe. Preheat and post heat needs to be monitored on carbon and the WPS NEEDS TO BE FOLLOWED TO THE LETTER. You will be called back for more work if you are known as a heads up welder. Watch your argon lines so equipment does not get park on top and stop.your purge.
Cool videos 💯
Good shit mang
Watching on break from the NAWF
Nawf side what up!
Awesome video bro God bless
Thanks for watching!
Good stuff thanks bro
"The Unemployment Truck" LOL
Love the music. But turn it down just a little. We want to be able to listen to all your good lessons
I will def turn it down thanks brother
True
@@TheWeldLab thanks bro. Yeah, we’d rather listen to you
Damn son, Awesome 👌👏😎
What's up from Wisconsin Rico?!?!? Looking good dude!! I'm a welder fabricator myself and an starting to train myself on pipe/tube so I can pick up some brewery style sanitary work on the side..
You can learn a lot from CZcams brother ima also start doing more welding tutorials soon
Yea man here in Alberta Canada. The pipe code is anything above ground is all uphand. Then most stuff that gets burred in the ground is downhand. I would be nice to be able to run a downhand root and hot pass but that's not how they want it done here.
Love the title
Up here in Canada we refer to the X Ray truck as the Lay Off Wagon. Lmao
A video on what passes x ray would be great bro
10-4 !
Get yourself familiar with the code you are welding in that is what passes x-ray. It's all in black and white. The codes are vastly different on every type of inclusion. One thing they all have in common is a nice clean weld is a nice clean weld. Practice and stay focused and you will not have to worry about failing any NDT not just x-ray.
Saludos desde Houston😈🔥
Saludos bro ✊🏼
I got faith in you brotha. Keep hustling 🤟🏽
Thanks homie 🙏🏼
Good vid big dawg
Thanks homie
Bad ass video rico 🍻

Your words + groovy music = good rap ))
Hahah man I have no rhythm lol
Yes, you do have good rhythm, check this - 1.11 - 1.20, real rap)
You mentioned S/S TIG, have you done any food or pharmaceutical grade? Great money in that...
You'll pass no problems I seen your welding
Dammm homie welding with out a mask ....perro
Question where did u get ur pancake hood from ?
Wire feeders need to be ran vert. Stick can run downhill. That's per an inspector that came out to UT my C.J.P's
Yuhhhh we don’t fail them x-rays 😈😎
golden arm!
Always keeping it real.
AYE ATHLON BOYS GETTING IT! GET ME IN SON
Let’s shoot a video when I get in town
Here in Colorado they dont allow downhill on structural...Idk know about pipe though
Lol don’t worry about us ! Only record the welds that you know not getting shot !
Haha 😂
Today is my first day of welding school. This shit got me motivated 😎😎💪💪🤑🤑
hell yeah good luck!
That's wsup keep it real.🤘
Now on your stainless tig welds, are you scratch tig welding off your SA 200. Is there a tig kit that you can set up with a pedal? I have a ranger 250 and there is a pedal option with it. I've looked up tig kits for certain welders and the information is very vague. You do lay some good welds tho. I like your videos. 💯
Seeeh can’t wait
✊🏼
Love this video but again let’s see some real world welding. In the rack against the wall.
what’s your tig setup on your truck?
Do you have any tips for finding inexpensive pipe for practice? I am really wanting to learn downhill pipe but my high school instructor doesn’t believe in downhill anything so I have to learn on my own
Honestly hes kinda right, if you can run uphill which is a bit harder u can def do downhill. Pipes all bout the fit, if the fits good everything else goes like butter
Sporty Channel welding to 👍👍👍👍
🔥
Shout out from SA foo
💯✊🏼
What vest are u wearing?
Lol the unemployment truck😂😂😂😂
Everybody nightmare lol
❤❤❤❤❤❤
Damn g make it look easy, I ain’t failed metal core 1/16 UT yet make me wanna try stick on a pipe never tried
Sheeeeesh
