Good choice in music. As always another great video. Great editing. Love the extra work you put in the vids
Would of loved to see the prep work before the weld. Awesome video btw.
Awesome channel love this stuff
Another awesome video thankz guys
LOVE YOUR VIDEOS
Videos are getting good brother
please forgive me for the stinking music comments.....most everything you do is GREAT
Cool video and nice choice of music with Whiskey Myers🤘
I assume they provide yall with some assurance that the pipe is free of any combustible gas, when you are required to make these repairs.
Great videos btw
Tough position, good job guys.
Looked pretty easy to me for that job. Im getting closer to being there a few more months an my rig will be ready
GOD BLESS YOU AND ALL YOURS BEYOND MEASURE
Crank up that Whiskey Myers!
👍👍
Enjoy the vids but I'm more interested in the soundtrack of this one clip. Who is the artist?
What happens if that ding is not fixed? How do you know if pipe has flammable or explosive contents?
could be a weak spot or a potential restriction point. to check you need the proper people there check fro pressure pull plugs sniff the pipe with monitors and there are a few other things you cpould do.
yall livin life workin il be there
Hey you guys should do a video of you guys doing the branch.
Carter Mcguire I have a three part video already uploaded on how to lay one out. Go check it out. .
Do pipefitters column climb or is that only an ironworker thing?
xxstrokerxx iron workers only, and it's an old day thing. Osha isn't a fan of the that now days.
James Valentine Boilermakers connect their own iron if the duct work sits on it verses suspended from hanger rods
Hoping to be a pipeline welder since underwater is just to sketchy, and I hate heights so I’m not doing structural.
New to the channel... Got into it with associated years ago 99 or 2001 then many more companies..... Learned a lot as a helper then later got into sideboom. You do learn a lot with this trade and you meet good and bad people. Most I know now are retired like myself. I will keep watching the videos as long as you post em. Not sure if this is of use to you. Most of my stuff expect for a few things I gave away. A site i found I sometimes go to I will soon do a lay out with my newly fixed plasma cutter/tig/s.s. 6 inch pipe. Ever tried to transition with 2 same pieces of pipe together with 2 different wall thicknesses? metalgeek.com/static/cope.pcgi just remember pipe dope is your friend... ))
What's happening when you flick out of the puddle when running the root
the arc stops... JK it just leaves a key hole and then you start above it and drag back into it.
Why don't you protect the other pipes from any damage by fire blanket?
Didn't figure you as THE SMOKING MAN
i'm new to welding is there a reason you dont use a plasma cutting machine
Tony Stites because its out in the field plasma is mainly used in shops where you have it hooked up and using it often
How old where you when you started working/welding out in the field?
Smiley G I was 21 when I started welding I helped before that to learn and save the money I needed for my equipment
I'M COMING UP TO COLORADO AND BE YOUR HELPER
EOG? Anadarko?
If there is no other way to check the content of the pipe, you should drill a hole first. I don't know how many times the pipe was "empty" and lo and behold there is stuff coming out. In some cases the stuff was flammable, so I don't recommend using any hot cutting at the start. Of course if there is a valve or flange you can open, that could be easier... maybe not a big flange tho.
Oh PS: drop the music please!
A squirt gun would been a lot easier for this repair. Why not 4 wheel cut it?
scho if i want to listen to music i'll play the radio i want hear about pipe welding not music
jeff jeansonne hahaha so buy a machine and all your equipment and come do it. Love the drive man keep it up.
I would’ve use a grainder with a cutting wheel .
If they are going to grind I️t and bevel I️t cutting wheel is a good idea but you better have a bushel basket of them that’s the same way everyone does I️t 😀
And the spring loaded surprise is not all that fun with a grinder either
WHAT U SMOKING MON.....CRAP MUSE SICK
Good music choices.
First like!!
I would rather hear you tell about what you are doing, that listen to music.
Cool welding but not into the music im more of a Hank Williams jr fan myself.
Good video but the music sucks. And it gets way to loud between talking. I have to go between turning the volumes up and way down.
Junk Yard.....use your Mute button. It's quick and simple. On and Off.....On and Off. Not trying to be a smart aleck. I use it a lot on some of the other channels that get too carried away with their rapadap and hippyhop "music". I have not had any problems like that on Jacob's channel. He doesn't use vulgar stuff, which I DO appreciate.
next cut is to cut the music!
Les Confused.....good-bye and good riddance. You're not too interested in LEARNING what Jacob is trying to show.....at no cost, I might add. GOOOOM BYEEEEEEEEEEE.
pull the plug
Muse zack ....stinks worse than that paint you are burning.....
That music sucks. Thought you were white!!!
You know you listened to the whole thing and went and found the song... lol Hahahahahah I’ll work on it.
Music 👎
Devon Fischer didn’t realize I would need to explain to what I presume is an adult how your volume control works on most phones there will be a volume control button down is less noise up is more. Good luck on the next video.
Great video. I’m a welder myself and I do similar jobs every now and then my suggestion would’ve been to not cut right at the weld. Maybe a foot behind it which would allow you to back bevel it I know space is limited but if you can cut 3/4 of the pipe with beveler you can just torch cut the rest which would be way less grinding
