0:17 That's one way to stop the Kia boys from taking your car
0:34 Customer had their oil changed by a quick lube and the drain plug rattled loose, engine was destroyed
0:58 Yup that's the transfer case or what's left of it. Likely a big rock is to blame
1:07 They had just had some parts of the fuel system replaced thankfully it was just a bad gas cap causing this
1:26 Dodge Journey valve stem has seen better days
1:32 There's almost more in wheel weights than what the rim weights at that point
1:50 The mechanics was surprised this loud exhaust wasn't a stolen cat for once
2:02 Not what they wanted after finishing work on a Friday afternoon
2:28 Sparkplugs decided they wanted a nice oil bath it seems
3:25 The curbs claim yet another bad driver
3:30 Where's the steel tip crocs when you need them
3:40 I have seen many shocks fail but not quite like this
3:45 Anyone want a milkshake? - likely the head gasket has let a lot of coolant mix with the oil
3:49 Rammer compactors been drinking the wrong oil
4:01 2020 Ford Explorers are not fun to work on at all
4:16 2006 Honda Civic AC compressor clutch relay was stuck on causing this
4:33 This is what happens when machine operators ignore the warning signs
4:39 Weird latch issue on this Subaru's trunk I have no idea why it won't latch

For the boot (trunk in the us) issue, it is most likely the latch on the body of the car that needs adjustment. They get bashed down over time and can wiggle loose. Literally fixed my sedan's this week.

One my neighbour guy and i had worked on my Opel Ascona Hatchback. In that following week i drove with my brother and our nephews, we were all in our 30's, on i straight street with 50km/h. Suddenly a have the steering wheel in my hand. I say Eeg ( my brothers name is Egon). He said fast: push it back! And keep pressing!
Luckely it was a straight street. The neighbour guy had not bent back the thin metal edges of the ring so that the big nut in the steeringwheel would be secured.....
He worked on the steeringwheel/column, not me.
When the lock( mechanism) from my Alfa GTV6 door did not work good once, my father told me to take the lock out, clean it and place it back. That helped.

0:17. Note to everyone getting bright ideas out there: Pretty sure booby traps that can cause physical injury are illegal in the US. If someone gets hurt by a trap like this, expect to get sued and probably charged with assault.

    • @christopherkidwell9817

Pretty sure I saw a federal level lawsuit that said "No." to that. Guy boobytrapped his car doors with nails just like that and the federal courts said "No!" to the personal injury civil suit when it was proven that the person injured was trying to steal the vehicle.
Now if it is someone you hired to work on your car and you did not warn them? That is a different story.

@@jonathanlaguna3418 Yup, generally speaking 'booby traps' are considered illegal, although if this is literally just pushpins duct taped to the handles this may be considered a detterant, which are allowed. That case bankrupted a sweet old couple who tried to do something about their other home being robbed after it happened like 7 times. If they had been there in person and shot them all the same it would've been self defense... I agree that having a precedent that booby traps are okay might not be good in some situations, but not sure how I feel about it in their case.

Changed valve cover gasket and vvt solenoid while I was in there and it's been dry since and the coils still work. Also its the same engine, I wonder if the plastic valve cover causes the gasket to break as the plastic and metal in the engine expand and contract differently.

@@goesfastandfar That's what the text that goes with it says. No way that's normal. You might get some frost around the expansion valve, but not where this thing was frosted up.

When the system is low on gas the compressor compensates by being permanently running to maintain cooling. This causes the condensation on the lines to freeze.
