  • Kuretake ZIG Clean Color Real Brush markers have nice and bright colors. I did the swatch on the Lana bristol paper. They work good on the bristol paper, but they are a bit more on the expensive site.

This was great! Thank you for demonstrating them in several papers! I love the color range Zig offers in these pens!

oh, that is really a big compliment, thank you 😁. Do you have any suggestions what I could try next, some art supplies or other ideas for videos ^^?

@@color-dive I do!! And I'm so excited! In this video I see your Lyra Aqua Brush Duo page shown, and I'm almost 100% positive you only have a video out for the skin tone set of those markers. I'd love to see a video for the other set you have of those! It looks like they blended out really well with water!! Also, I can't remember, have you tried the Sakura Koi Brush Pens? I've had them in my mind (and Amazon cart 🤣) for a long time, but I don't see that many videos out with people watercoloring with them/testing them how you do. From what I saw, they seem very nice and juicy, and very blend-able even without water used.
Another are the Molotow Aqua Color Brush markers, not the twin ones, and not the black barrel, but the white barrel ones.
And also omg! I noticed what I think are new, 2 products from arteza. They now have a glitter version of their brush pens, and also I saw what's called Arteza Watercolor Pens, EverBlend H2O double sided Calligraphy pens. Very interesting!!

I only have 3 sakura koi brush pens so i did not want to make a video with only three colors, but maybe I actually could (I could do a mixing thing and stuff hmmm) , they are nice.
I think I know which molotow markers you mean, and I did already test them and filmed them, so I should put the video online hahaha I think I need to stop purchasing new stuff and just publish all the videos that I filmed last year XD....
Interesting, I will have to check the Arteza stuff... Unfortunately on amazon.de the arteza stuff always comes really late. They still do not offer arteza pastel colored pencils.... But I hope they will have them soon :).... Thx for the info, will definitely look into those brush pens

I really like the Zig too. They blend with water so beautifully, and I like the colour shift. Other people see the colour shift as a con, but to me it makes the colours so much more interesting!
But yeah, they're too expensive... and not refillable!

Thanks for the comparison. I think I will stick to my watercolours, inktense pencils & blocks. Much love & *Virtual hugs* glad u can now see my pictures on IG XXX

  • @immortalgraveyard2099

Thank you very much for the review, it was very helpful, because I'm searching for some nice waterbased markers right now.
As I love Art Creation sketcbook with 140 gsm paper. I really want some color tools, but if we speak in relation to this paper: alcohol markers bleed through, simple watercolor needs water and this paper can't hold a lot of it, gouache isn't see through (I work with fineliners, so I need a see through medium) and cheap markers look really bad, so my only hope is for Zig markers.

ich habe soeben mir ein 90er Set bestellt. Am liebsten wäre mir der 120er. Doch ich denke, ich komme mit 90 gut um die Runden.
Ich bin sowas von gespannt wie die sind. Hoffentlich ist das Geld wert.
