Sandy, this is the BEST explanation of blending with Zig markers that I have seen. Many thanks! I'm inspired to take out my Zigs and try them again on floral images! 💗
I was just thinking the same thing.
Glad it was helpful!
Now I finally understand how to use my Zig's. Thanks.
I need to find these pens because they look fantastic! Foxy looks like he's stepped straight out of the 70's, I love it!
💃🏻 🦊 🤣
Great Video! I've had my Zigs for years and never really knew how to use them after watching your video I'm going to give them a go! Thank you
Me too! Had my Zigs for years, and never really knew how to use them either. But I will be practicing now, using Sandy's video lesson.
Unreal. You're my favourite artist, the first one I ever discovered with a blog and then CZcams. (your realistic copic autumn leaves video) you started my whole art obsession! Anyway my point is; by some weird universal thing, I wasn't subscribed to channel anymore!!! 😭😭😱😱
Hello again. 💖
Whaaaa!? Bummer!!! Welcome back!
Cute manga fox! Ah - I will try to remember that tip on coloring glasses. Cool.
I have had my Zigs for years, and never really knew how to use them; so they just sat in a drawer. Will be practicing with them now after watching your great video lesson.
Love your videos, love your classes, Thank you
You are so talented. Thank you for sharing.
Sandy, awesome tutorial 🥰
So cute. Thanks for the lesson.🤗🙏
Fantastic lesson. The fox is absolutely adorable! I need to dust off my Zig Clean Color markers and put them to use. Thanks Sandy!
Excellent video!!! So many great tips.❤️❤️❤️❤️
Fantastic I love my Zigs💕
LOVE THIS
These looks as nice as Copic markers! Love that starter pouch too--I'll have to check this set out. Thank you for the great video!
Loved this video and the slower coloring!! Your fox is adorable!
Awesome thank you!
Thanks a lot! This is a great tutorial!
This picture is ridiculously adorable, thank you
Thank you for this video. I’ve never had much success with the Zig’s on watercolor paper and have always used Bristol smooth and either the lighter colors or the blender pen because of the unusual colors that can appear with water. I can’t wait to see the new colors used in your future video. They look amazing and much more useable.
They’re really hard on good watercolor paper, but on the cheap Canson XL they work great!
This was really helpful. I have wondered about these markers and how they blend. Might just have to purchase these .
I love seeing how these pens blend so well. I've thought about purchasing them, but they will have to stay on my "wish list" for now. Great lesson! TFS
I have Arteza's watercolour brush pens and their Twimarkers so I'm going to see how well they blend. I'll try Canson MM and the smooth side of my watercolour paper. Can't wait to see the next video too ❤
I am so very glad you did this...I finally bought some Zigs but need to swatch them out. Very helpful to know that blending them out with another Zig marker (instead of water) works best! Thanks, Sandy!
Water is great when you need a very pale blend to white…but that entails dealing with bleeds and blossoms too. 🤓

Very interesting
Oh my. You must have read my mind! I was just looking at these this morning contemplating whether or not to get them
Sandy you never fail to amaze me. Awesome tutorial and work of art.
This is so cool.I’m always blending my Zigs with water..I love your technique of blending with Zigs
You’re so talented. I love this❤️
Awesome video..

❤️👍🏻🙏🏻
Ok Miss Sandy, I'm intrigued. I don't have the Zigs, because I reasoned, I have a full set of Tombows. Makes sense, right? After watching this I can see I was mistaken, these are entirely different. Going to wait for your next video to decide, but I'm very interested now.
Also, do you have some tips for getting an new HP printer to take watercolor paper without jamming? My old one took it just fine, but the new one is not cooperating.
No tips on that, sorry! I use a Canon so the paper doesn’t do a huge bend to print.
Re printer: It likely depends on the thickness of the paper. My HP laser printer (for waterproof lines) takes up to 300g/m², but only via manual feed.
May I ask, please, does a portion of your "Storybook" class include instruction in watercolors? Also - what is the difference between the Canson XL "gold cover" watercolor paper, and the "blue cover" watercolor paper? Thank you.
There’s no storybook watercolor, only classes in Copic and pencil for now. I haven’t tested the blue and yellow covers in years-but my recollection is that the yellow is a Bristol, not watercolor paper. It’ll still work, But since I haven’t tested side by side in so long I’d hate to steer you wrong.
@@SandyAllnock1 Thank you so much for both answers!
Do the ecoline brushpens work the same as these pens?
Not sure what those are, sorry!
Do these markers leave streaks?
They can depending on technique.
