I definitely prefer doing deadlifts with this bar than the traditional barbell .
Simple and great video. I just started doing these and love the exercise. A lot less back pain.
Definitely better for me due to arthritis in my lower back. I can do barbell, but have to use plates to make it easier on my back.
I think it's harder to hold the trap bar because with the barbell you can use alternate grip. It is less stress on the back but more stress on the forearms.
Thank you!
Thanks 🙏
I love hex bar deadlifts. Doesn’t mess my hands up as much as a normal bar but still gives me a good workout.
Always thought you had a great physique. I’m on 5 hours of sleep but hitting the gym today regardless….thanks for inspiration! Let’s go!
thanks
It’s harder for me
Ty
Do you pull upnthe weight woth your legs or do you pull up with your arms???
Legs. Explode up with your legs
Could I used it without Bumper Plates ?
Im 197.5cm tall
I get arch while doing this trap bar
Im fat guy 120kgs what can i do
Just slim down my guy. Or build up your other muscles that are worked out in the exercise to complete it more comfortably.
Always look to the ceiling. I had trouble when I first started keeping a straight back, but when I was told to keep looking up it honestly helped.
Block trap Bar Deadlift
Work on your flexibility first. Stretch and relax your muscles do cardio then go into lifting. That worked for me but i werent so obese 130kg
6”4 260? U could be in the nfl if u train right
My max is 170kg
Good lift
When chris evans becomes a trap deadlift trainer 😂😂
Your grip is completely wrong
He’s got other form problems as well. The internet… every ignoramus thinks eh can be an influencer…. No knowledge or experience required.
Do you mean how he's positioning his thumbs and how he's using his fingers to hold the bar?
Forgive my ignorance, I'm a boxer, not a lifter of any sort. I'm getting on in age... your legs are the first to go. My boxing trainer recommends these trap bar deadlifts... but he's not an expert on form either. I have avoided deadlifts my entire career due to risk of back injury.
@@nb0616 There's a lot less risk of back injury using this trap bar. He's lifting light weight here, so just using your fingers to lift it is fine I guess. Once you start putting real weight on the bar, you need to use the hook grip or conventional grip.
What is the purpose of this movement? I don't see it as beneficial to any work out to much of happening for it to be a hypertrophy movement
Some people, including myself, get a nerve pinch/lower back pain when preforming regular deadlift. This movement is significantly safer and yields the closest possible result
Trap bar deadlifts are safer for when doing conventional deadlifts as it puts you in a natural position so it is beneficial ,deadlifts are ment for strength gains
Better for strength, muscle balance, and athletics. Not much for hypertrophy.
Its strength building exercise to lift heavy.
This dude literally just asked what’s the point of deadlifts as he sees no benefit 😂
Yeah illiterate people can comment on the internet lol
