In Australia, (or Victoria at least) the governments make a section of their discussion that they air on the news saying that they officially grant Santa permission to enter the airspace, and they have a member of the air traffic control talk saying that they have already made contact with Santa to be able to establish him on the flight radars. It's actually so cute that they go to this effort

I think it's really sweet that the Irish Parlament announces a permission for Santa to enter Irish airspace every year.
The Met Eireann (our weather people) also report that santa has left the North Pole on the six one news.

You don't have to like SNL or Lorne, but please give credit to the amazing people who work diligently on that show. Some of the most incredible people got their start on SNL, whether they were cast or crew. I don't know where I would be today if Amy Poehler's career didn't skyrocket during her time on SNL! She is legitimately one of the bravest and funniest people I know! But I'll be damned if anyone credits Lorne for HER work!

BRITTNEY!! I grew up having a very german Christmas!! I loved it! We did most of the celebrations and presents in the evening. You would go to church first and learn about the birth story of christ. Then we we would a traditional dinner. And i’m germany it’s very common to have real candles on the tree. It’s the most magical christmas

as a polish catholic it's so fun to watch brittany discover who st. nicolas is and that baby jesus/angel are bringing gifts to us. in some regions it's also father frost! also we do celebrate st. nicolas on 6th of december! we get gifts then too! they're usually left near our beds cuz we put up christmas tree around 24th! i think the image of the old grandpa dressed in red has only been around for around 100 years lol
