I was on meth for 3 years. It completely destroyed me and my life. I was 23 when i started. Im 27 now and 10 months and 14 days clean. I am so proud of myself for getting cleaned up and improving my life.
That is so awesome. I'm 50 and I didn't get clean until 2 years ago. I injected meth. I thought that I was going to die in active addiction. Everyday I thank God for my amazing life and my amazing brain because I could have lost both. It makes my heart happy to know that you will have a couple decades clean by the time you reach my age. I'm very proud of you. Keep going kiddo!
That's fantastic fellow traveller, well done. That first year is tough, but you'll be costing after that. All the best.
👍👍👍💪💪💪
Go out and experience the world. Travel, make new friends, do things you never thought you'd do. What once was will never be again. When you increase the amount of experiences you have during your life, the part where you took drugs will become only a small part of it.
I’m proud of myself and the billions of other humans who never did drugs. Where’s our praise?
This is the type of person that genuinely needs assistance.
And a bra!
As if the others you see on here do not?

I’m attracted to her
Nah.

And specially as she's going to have a baby, I really hope she can get through this and gets the right help.
she needs to help herself. No one can get her sober but her
@@zoilalulu3798yep exactly if only people would stop thinking they need help... they stole and corrupted everyone's help, help is the last thing they need imo. It enables their addiction

This was a very good friend of mine who over the past several years has had stints where none of her family knew where she was. Prior to this video, I had no idea that she ever had an issue with meth, which she appears to talk her way around by avoiding or not acknowledging the subject. On the one hand, I'm quite glad to see that she's alive, but on the other hand it's incredibly difficult to see her like this.
As family, it's hard to finally find her (again) and to know this is where she is at. I will hold the image of "my Sarah" in my mind.
@@amyfitzsimmons4445 Does she resist help from your family? I wish Mark would interview some of the family members of his interviewees. They, too, suffer and have heartbreaking tales of what it is like to love someone, yet be truly powerless to make them get the help they need. Also, it would be an interesting psychological experiment to see how the stories of the addict/mentally ill/etc differ from the stories told by their family.

Sadly Sarah has passed away. Shortly after she died, her mom left us too. Our family is sad, but relieved to know they are reunited.
May she rest in eternal peace, with her mom as well. God bless their souls.
Ohh no how sad, poor Sarah was really hoping she would find some help 😞😞
I’m so sorry.
That's so sad. It is so evident that she was a very kind person who somehow got lost in this world. Bless you, Sarah.
How did she pass?
I started doing drugs since my teenage, got addicted to meth for over 7 years. Meth addiction actually destroyed my life. I suffered severe depression and mental disorder. Not until a friend recommended me to psilocybin mushrooms treatment. Psilocybin treatment saved my life honestly. 3 years totally clean. This is something that really need to be used globally for treatment of certain health challenges.
Amen God bless people. Save your health save your mind. Life is better without heroin, meth, alcohol and cigarettes. And you have more money in your pocket. God bless everyone who has rejected the devils intentions to be addicted to alcohol and cigarettes etc which can cause so much damage to health.
Can you help me with the reliable source 🙏. I'm 56 and have suffered for years with addiction, anxiety and severe ptsd, I got my panic attacks under control myself years ago and they have come back with a vengeance, I'm constantly trying to take full breaths but can't get the full satisfying breath out, it's absolutely crippling me, i live in Australia. I don't know much about these mushrooms. Really need a reliable source!! Can't wait to get them.
YES very sure of Dr.medshrooms. I have the same experience with anxiety, depression, PTSD and addiction and Mushrooms definitely made a huge huge difference to why am clean today.
I'm really happy for you that your friend decided to help you...I hear about alot of family members or so called friends shutting an addict out of their life, which since most addicts do it to mask emotions to me is the worse thing someone can do to an addict.
How do I reach out to him? Is he on insta

What a sweet lady. It’s disturbing how we live in such a privileged, high tech country, and there’s so many people like this, desperate for help they’ll never receive.
The Internet has made alot of insecure people mentally ill who have become dependent on compliments and likes, not her though. I wish the internet would be used for public information, knowledge. This is heartbreaking! I knew someone who isn't much older than Sara: now 46, and she abused meth heavily for 13yrs., and abused coke for at least 10yrs before graduating to Meth. She fell into homelessness 2 different times, each time from drugs: the first time: coke, the 2nd time: meth. When I met her, she was 2yrs. into recovery. I tried to help her, but things became very complicated whenever I interacted with her. I could tell that all those yrs of substance abuse really took a toll on her critical thinking skills, cognitive functions & emotional regulation. There were some personality disorders involved as well. I wanted to stay in her life, but It became so toxic between us, I had no choice but to leave to preserve my identity & individuality. 47.5 million American living with some kind of mental illness. That’s 1 in 5 people. Only 43% had any care.
14.1 million Americans living with a serious mental illness. That’s 1 in 20. Only 64% had any kind of care. There are only 35,000 beds for mental heath treatment provided for by the government in the the entire country. And that’s for actually treatment. Care can mean anything from seeing a psychiatrist once a month to getting prescriptions to even a 72 hour psyc hold, etc. none of it is actually treatment. Unless you’re rich and can pay cash to a good private mental health treatment center you’re pretty much screwed. Because the private treatment centers that take insurance, they try to keep costs low. They keep as little employees as possible, cut corners, they do whatever they can to maximize profits and there’s also very little oversight. The worse insurance you have the worse places you’ll go and it’s the people that need treatment the most are the ones who cannot keep a job at the kinds of companies that provides really good insurance. That’s why you hear about ‘Booty Juice’ (powerful sedative) so much, especially from mentally ill homeless. Because the types of private treatment centers they’re going to is are the places that just knock you out all day so they don’t have ti deal with you and so they don’t need a full staff. Those 35,000 spots in state run facilities are the really the only chance they got, but the numbers are like winning the lotto. The reason state run facilities are so much better is because there a lot of oversight and it’s not profit driven. They actually spend the money. It’s tax money so they spend.. They have full staffs, different departments. They actually take the time and do treatment, therapy, group therapy art therapy, they teach them coping mechanisms, like skills, they get them into a routine, etc. They spend the time with the patients and really try, but the sad thing is, with how little amount of beds the state has is it ends up the people that become eligible for those beds are usually the most worse off, and I mean the top couple of percent most serious cases, many of them cannot be helped. When Reagan slashed the fund for state run facilities, and that was one of his biggest slashes, America just stared dumping its mentally ill in prisons and the budget for treatment has only been slashed more and more since. No place makes mental illness worse than prison. Putting mentally ill people in prison should be outlawed, it’s cruel. And many of them can be helped if judges were able to send them to a state run mental heath treatment facilities during their first few arrests, but there’s not enough beds and so they go to state prisons and they end up doing their time in solitary, which can drive a sane man crazy, and they come out more violent and more mentally ill each time. That’s why when you hear about these crimes that shock the nation, you can always see the building up in their rap sheet. Each arrest the crimes are getting worse and worse. Those are all missed opportunities to help them. But apparently half the country thinks government providing services to The People is ‘communism’ and so it gives the politicians permission to slash and slash these budgets. It’s weird cuz I don’t know who the hell they think provides the prisons. But that’s the long and short of it. There’s no help. America has screwed itself.
Constantly looking down. I hope she receives quality care and finds happiness and security.
As a co-host of an addiction medicine podcast, I find your content informative, well produced and sometimes challenging to watch. We've considered featuring patients on our podcast, but the ethical dilemma of informed consent always arises. It's not a criticism of your content, but rather an observation - some subjects appear to be in distress or possibly under the influence, which raises concerns about their ability to give truly informed consent. This is a complex issue in the portrayal of addiction and recovery.
Therapist here and I also wondered about informed consent….
Hard to qualify the veracity of their ability to consent, when often, especially here they aren't even able to know where they are, what there really doing, and show no signs of competence. Its an unbelievably powerful testimony for us, but long view, how's it for them?
I agree, does he pay them? If so he’s enabling their drug use..
@@cashmoneychanel1209 I don’t know the answer to that. The participants do seem to have a genuine affection for their interviewer. I have heard many speak favourably about what they’ve been purchased in terms of gifts.
@@cashmoneychanel1209yes he does. Look up Rebecca. 😢
I hope Sara is safe, wherever she is right now 🌹🌹🌹🌹
She never admitted to crystal meth. I realize we don’t see everything. Mark may have seen her use or seen paraphernalia. But it shouldn’t be in the title unless it was self identified by her. She doesn’t deserve that. The title should be changed for integrity purposes…
Disagree.
@@jacquelinefitzpatrick2405 I don't disagree because he is not a doctor and she never admitted to it
He’s there all the time maybe seen her use. She doesn’t seem too with it I don’t think alcoholism can make you hallucinate about having a baby with a celebrity.
I totally agree I was thinking the same thing. I was reading the comments about her alleged Meth addiction but I honestly don't see that this looks like schizophrenia/psychosis not Meth.
@@tatijanvier8092 totally! It just feels wrong with him asking her repeatedly, her denying it, and then it being the title-and now her official label. That’s all. She was with it enough to deny drug use, showing she didn’t want that to be part of her story. Mark should have respected that. The title is a simple thing and what he types has influence.
I hope this Sweet Soul finds her way out . This is heartbreaking 💔 I see a beautiful lady that has been broken🌸🩸😊
I've never seen an overweight meth addict. Unless she was horribly overweight to begin with. My best friend who died from an OD used to be fat. The last picture I saw of her, she was so skinny, I didn't recognize her. Then she died. She told me, when she first started taking meth, she was just going to do it to lose weight, then stop. I tried to tell her, that's not how it works. She wouldn't listen, and now she's dead.
Huge breasts ≠ overweight lmao
I don't think Sara is a meth addict.
Agree. And if she mentioned meth off camera, pretty sure it’s because of a schizophrenic psychosis. Imo…
She could be in unimaginable pain that has led to decades of drug use. None the less, heartbreaking situation ❤
Who said she did drugs? She could just be crazy.
That's the case more often than not. Untreated chronic pain. Doctors do not help patients anymore so they turn to the streets for pain relief.
@@flyeventplanning The title says “Crystal Meth addict Sara”!!!
Amen
@@flyeventplanning the title is literally "crystal meth addict." So...Mark said she did drugs 🤷♂️
Have a good day Sara. Positive thoughts coming your way.
Aww, such a sweet gentle soul. Id love to hear her sing
This interview was heartbreaking. She needs mental health help stat. And she seems like a sweet lady. Mark, pleade follow up on Sara.
