As a PvE player, I'm still waiting for coop campaign, and most important of all (sadly still no word on that): Forgeable missions and custom campaigns.

I just checked steam charts and instead of the new update increasing the player count it lost players, there are now more people playing fallout 76 than halo infinite. This is just sad

your on drugs bro, before season came out it was peaking 8k a day and when season dropped was at a little over 20k, granted didn't hold it and is still pretty sad when siege still has an average of over 20k, but it did boost players

If Captain Price can be in Halo, and Sgt Johnson can be in a Call of Duty, and DOOM armor in Halo and vice versa, then literally what is the difference between the IP? Call of Duty is Halo. Halo is Doom. Animal Crossing is DOOM! WHY DO YOU ALL WANT THIS. Why can nothing just exist in its own vacuum, for its own sake.
This. Not ever game needs the same sprint-slide-jump combos, not ever game needs ADS, not every game needs a grappling hook, not every game has to have a Battle Royal and battle passes and this live service bullshit.

This makes me sad. A once beloved video game franchise is being tarnished by 343’s incompetency.
I work 50 hours a week. 343 can at least show up every day (with two days off per week) with punishment for missing work. They sit in comfy chairs all day and get to work on a beloved franchise that is open to any type of gameplay, and they can't come up with one creative idea. This is all they have to show after six months. This is pathetic.
It's creative but you got such bad taste bro
They work 80 hour weeks with mandatory unpaid overtime while also not being paid proper industry rates due to the entire dev team aside form management being temporary contract workers and any talk of unionization leads to people getting fired. You make it sound like games development is some cushy job but it is one of the most stressful and demanding jobs a person can do.
@@exilestudios9546 343 is constantly talking about 'priority zero', i.e. blaming the slow progress on them taking their employees well being seriously. They brag constantly about how they treat their employees and use that to guilt people who ask for more content, like asking for more content is asking for the developers to be overworked and mistreated.
Tell me you don't understand game development without telling me you don't understand game development.
Is Infinite in a deplorable state? Yes. Does 343 deserve the criticism? As long as its not death threats or personal attacks, yes. Do 343 employees deserve to have a life outside of work and not be forced to crunch? Yes.
That being said however, this is the worst halo ever made in terms of features and modes at launch. Basic modes like king of the hill and team slayer being missing at launch is beyond ridiculous. Halo infinite has had the longest development time between releases but is somehow the most barebones release to date. It's a pathetic effort on 343 and Microsoft's part. Management issues and misallocation of funds is my guess for these issues.

My question is what is MS and 343 doing with all the money they're making off of game sales, game pass, microtransactions in the storefront, all the product promotions with monster, rockstar, cheez it, oreos, trolli gummy worms, etc? Because funds don't seem to be getting allocated properly

No Co-op, no Forge, dozens of missing modes, no interesting maps, no Fire Fight or Spartan Ops or hell even Warzone, broken customs, no custom game browser, no file share, no service record, no progression system outside of the paywalled battle pass.

in my wish list i'd have to say, making a map editor apart from forge, the map editor will give the ability to change terrain, atmosphere, ambiance, skybox and that stuff that forge maps come with, and forge as it's own thing, where you have the reach level of depth, contruction blocks, weapons, vehicles and all that good stuff, i believe that would give the hardcore creators the tools they need to make really detailed and tailored maps and modes, and give more casual creators some simple and out of the box tools to make quick and easy stuff.
When is the team doubles dlc coming out? Next year?
All I know is the nanobots boy, and the epic scale/epic battles/epic worlds lady need to leave 343.

If they bring back the spiker, it should be done like the mauler/mangler. Don’t actually bring back the same functioning weapon. Bring in the Halo Infinite version. Give it a new name. “Impaler” and have it deal slightly more damage than AR, but slower rate of fire and smaller magazine. The original spiker was useless and unless a brute is the one shooting it at me, I don’t want to see its return.

at 45:24 ,advocating for just living with the battle royale inclusion is a bit flawed. Obviously at THIS point, beggars cant be choosers in Halo, though that br will likely take their attention and resources allocated to them, whether they have that other company or not. Saying you dont have to play it is just a bad ideology to me which goes hand in hand with games that stray from what they were, then to just tell the critics, "dont like it dont play it." br is fine whatever (despite my personal distaste) though knowing 343, they haven't satisfied the halo fandom, so how will a br help that dynamic.
They're going to BR because they think Fortnite's audience will save them, it won't. It's been several months after launch and we still don't have Grifball, Infection, Forge, campaign co-op, or even a Firefight/Warzone/Spartan Ops game mode. This game is lacking traditional content and their first instinct is to jump into BR.
The game is still shallow, and I bet that if the BR is at all successful they will drop what they are doing and just focus on BR support. Certain Affinity isn't going to be there 24/7, more likely they will be there to do some post-launch support and then hand it off to 343.
Halo Infinite should either be re-launched with Season 3 or with 2 options of moving on from Halo Infinite that being either 343i developing another Halo with a better foundation or Microsoft handing it off to another studio either from Activision's or Id(I'll pick this studio if that happens)
infinite is the perfect foundation, the game itself is great, all it needs is content

honestly infection not being in game until october would be fantastic because as soon as it drops, like 80% of all custom games, and all modes my friends will ever want to play will just be variations of infection and I can't stand it. Game mode is fun now and again, but give me proper pvp modes with friends ffs :c
I highly recommend to watch Jin-Roh. It's a unique underrated masterpiece of an anime movie. Everything fits so well and the story is great.
Unfortunately the korean version Illang miss the point of the story what made Jin-Roh so awesome. But I like the combat scenes in this movie.
P.S. I got insane when I saw this helmet with the name "Kerberos". I wish I could use it on every core. Love it. But I gonna still be suspicious about Halo Infinite. It's sucks how 343i managed this game..

Its really cursed watching this a year later. Infection took far longer than these guys originally thought. S2 lasted nearly a year. The game is still dead and empty content wise. The game still has a lot of horrible glitches and lag. Its unreal
