Please raise this issue with Toyota on their website. I did and I got a call from them asking, if there are many customers facing the same issue, raise the complaint on their website so that they could get to know about this and they might take action.
I've seen exactly the same problem on two different 2015 Prius v Four models I test drove at dealerships. Brand new cars with identical problem and solution. Surprising there isn't a Toyota service bulletin on this yet as a little googling shows the problem has been identified for at least six months.

Toyota is aware of the problem. My dealership just replaced my radio. I seems to work fine now, how ever the compass is off calibration.
how much was the replacement?
