ROCK OF THE MARNE Brother!
Thank you for taking the time to watch and the comment! It is greatly appreciated. When were you with 3rd ID? I was in Schweinfurt, West Germany 1987-1990
This is one of or the only 220 mhz higher powered radio currently sold. With Alinco and Bridgecom discontinuing theirs.
Thanks for watching and the comment. I have noticed there aren’t many 220 mobile radios for sale these days. I was surprised to see the power this radio puts out on 220!
Thanks for posting this review. I have been looking at this radio to run mobile primarily because of its 220 capability. Have you tried out the Nagoya tri-band antenna yet? I was thinking of pairing it up with the UV-25x4. Thanks again. 73
Thank you for taking the time to watch and the comment! It is greatly appreciated. I will doing a video showing the Nagoya TB-320A Tri-Band antenna in use.
Just ordered mine today
Thank you for taking the time to watch and the comment! It is greatly appreciated.
Great video, I was wondering is that the 2nd generation version? I am looking to buy for 220mhz. 73's WA2TWF
Enjoyed your video. Question - Too use the Menu, must you be in VFO mode?
Thank you for taking the time to watch and the comment! It is greatly appreciated. I don't believe you need to be in VFO to access the menu.
Just now learning about this one - how have you applied this radio? I think it could be a good tiny little inexpensive one to put in the car. Thanks!
Thank you for taking the time to watch and the comment! It is greatly appreciated. I use this radio as a "travel radio." What I mean by that is I take it when I am in my kids' car or a friend's car. I also use it as part of a battery box I had made in the past. Here's a link to that video. czcams.com/video/wN6ktbdmens/video.html
Will it monitor and listen to all four channels that are displayed on the screen at the same time
Hi Crag, I have this radio and used it for about 11 months. Our 220 repeater did not have a Pl tone on it.our club installed a new repeater and put a pl on it. Using chirp to put the new pl on the repeater freq. now there is no transmit on any repeater . Do you have any idea what is wrong. Enjoy your videos, keep up the good work and thank you. John, k8jek
Thanks for taking the time to watch and comment! It is greatly appreciated. I will be doing another video on programming this radio. I hope to have it up in the next week or so.
Can you tell me if the mic this radio comes with is a speaker mic? I'd like to mount the radio under my seat and have a speaker mic up by my console. Thanks
Thank you for taking the time to watch and the comment! It is greatly appreciated. No, it does not have a speaker mic.
Do you have a video that is even more basic, down to the button pushing level. I have this radio and I get confused as to which buttons to push to even scroll. At times due to non response I wonder if the mike keypad is not functioning, esp the zero. ( keep in mind I am a new Tech KA5DOC , I live fairly remote and do not have someone to show me "push this button to do ...xyz ) I need 25X4 for dummies.

I recently got this radio and it's having a mean sceetch after transmission on button release how do I fix that
Thank you for taking the time to watch and the comment! It is greatly appreciated. Since I have not dealt with that I would contact Baofeng Tech's support and see what they say.
