how do you profile games for this strategy ?
for example do you look for games where 45 to 55 min scoring patterns have a low percentage ?
if the teams have a high record of scoring and conceding within that frame time surely you wouldn't trade it?

Yea would be nice to know that as well.
In essence I am looking for games with a second half goal, this will bring the odds into the 2.5 - 4.0 range, profiling games with a low percentage in the 45th - 55th timeframe will definitely stand you in good stead.
On the other hand the stats will tell you a goal is coming and the odds will reflect that when they are so low but I am going against the grain and trading against the probability of it happening.
For a 30 - 40% loss it's definitely worth the risk and you could try to minimise the risk by shortening the trade time of 10 minutes.

Great example, even on a high number of expected goals ! Do you have some example where a goal is scored 5 or 10 minutes after the 2nd half started ?
Unfortunately not at the moment, every time I have recorded a trade it's been successful.
I'm sure that will change in the future and when it does I will share it in a video or two 👍
@@TradingTheMarket Damned...no wrong trade ? Well, unfortunately, I'm not so lucky even it it was on a test session. I tested this strategy on about 15 matches. Three goals where scored during 1st half. Just before the 2nd half I layed the 5.5 goals (paper trading, I was on test) and 4th goal was scored just 4 minutes after the begining of the 2nd half. Odds dropped, of course, and I had to wait for 20 minutes to have it back to the same level at which I bet on. In a real trade, I think I would have to cash out to avoid a worse loss, a 5th goal could have been scored in these 20 minutes.

What do you do when there is a goal ? Trade out immediately for 35-40% loss or do you place some extra bets ?
Hi mate, I will trade out every time for 30-40% loss and move on.
There is no point in keeping the trade as sometimes you will pull it back and sometimes you will take a full loss.
I believe the average fulltime score for most premium leagues is approx. 2.6. Would you say that it's more advantageous to wait for 3 goals to be scored before applying this strategy then (keeping the bell curve in mind)...?
It's maybe something to track over time.
All I am interested in for the most part is - are the odds in the correct range, low attack momentums and does my data tell me there will be a SHG.
And then trade against it for 10 minutes.
