    Great video and strategy. This looks in principal like the laying the over 3.5 strategy which is great and works well so i will definately try this once ive mastered the o3.5 -thanks

    James, excellent video, really useful and for me who likes the SH goal markets, this is one I am going to try. You reference the early goal going in, which from memory of the Laying OVER3.5 goals market, the loss would be similar if using that strategy. Plus, I'm also assuming that this strat has to be used on either Desktop or Laptop, because when I have tried it on the mobile app, I'm not able to leg in for some reason on Laying OV3/5 goals.

      Thanks Dave 👊🏻
      On average an early goal will see a red of 30% of your liability, legging out will always help with any losses incurred.
      Personally I've never had a problem setting back bet leg outs up on a mobile device not sure what the issue is there pal sorry 👍🏻

      Dave, i've done lay over 3.5 from kick off & 10mins on the betfair phone app no problem, with leg outs, not tried this one yet but see no reason why it would not work on the phone. Even when using the lap top I always have my phone on the betfair market when trading incase my internet goes down

    I mean its a good video but you don't explain what criteria you are using when deciding which matches to trade. That info would be useful. Or are you going by the frequency of SHGs in analogous matches?

I would really like you guys opinion on trading the next goal market and if its ever acceptable to do it? Odds move fast and I see a lot of money scalping the movement.

    Hi, great strategy, but why is it called "The Upside Down Taxi"?

    • @TradingTheMarket
      @TradingTheMarket  Před rokem +6

      It's due to my love of Ted Lasso, give strategies names helps people remember them. Generic names like over 1.5 has so many versions on it, so it becomes confusing.

    • @TradingTheMarket
      @TradingTheMarket  Před rokem +1

      It's entirely up to you at what odds you decide to leg out mate.
      I usually wait 3-5 mins before setting up the first leg out to maximise profits and reduce liability at a higher price as they get matched.

  • @helend269
    @helend269 Před rokem

    If 3 goals have been scored, and you're on the O/U 5.5 market, wouldn't that be 2 above the CS, not 3?

    • @saveBRITAIN-e3n
      @saveBRITAIN-e3n Před rokem +1

      6 goals needed to hit the 5.5 goal market, so that is 3 more. Easy to confuse at first.

    do you cross references with the sheets when looking for for potential games
    for example games with a low shg%?

    • @TradingTheMarket
      @TradingTheMarket  Před rokem +3

      As a rule I don't cross check with the data but you will find that games with high probability of goals and especially in the second half will provide low odds on 3 goal markets above the current score.
      In essence we are basically trading against the data for the 10 minutes of the second half.

  • @lukemcmillan5264
    @lukemcmillan5264 Před rokem +1

    wouldn't rely on fancy attack momentum graphs
    best to watch the games to get a true perspective on how the game is playing out

    • @TradingTheMarket
      @TradingTheMarket  Před rokem +1

      The attack momentums and inplay stats are just a guide to see how the second half is starting out.
      If there is lots of action then trade out straight away

      @sportspriceanalysis416 Před rokem +1

      @@gedgie6673 Not a 30% loss on your stake, a 30% loss on your *liability* in that bet your liability is £240 so 30% of that is £72 so in fact 72% of your stake. When you win its around 22-25% of your stake. So as long as you win more than 75% of the time your're golden, would need to test it....
