Great detail. Thanks. Personally i think this is where we could do with the most training. After all its match selection that is most important part of the entire system. Also can I ask, is there a way of tracking results using the TTM excel sheet. It would be really useful to be able to easily track results, particularly whilst paper trading to see if the research resulted in a profit or loss. Cheers.
At this point you can't track the results directly from the sheet you will have to do this manually for the time being but we are looking into ways of upgrading certain aspects of the site and sheets to give a more complete package 👍🏻
Hi! would you then recommend that the OPP PPG are always the same or higher for the favourite team of the trade? I understand that 0.32, the difference of the example, is a big difference, but I didn´t fully understand why or since which difference it's better to trade

re-watch the SD segment, write down the steps to the final answer, practice, practice, practice. It's very simple once you become comfortable with it 💯

I am though struggling to understand the logic behind the Magic Number calculation. In your initial example you use the extreme case of Team A with the 1st ranked attack and defence, playing Team B with the 20th ranked attack and defence, to arrive at the Magic Number of 0 - the ideal outcome as you say for an indicator of goals. This happens because the top rank is 1 and the bottom rank is 20 and the sum of these is 21. And yes, you would expect a goal fest in favour of Team A. But of course there are a whole range of numbers that when added together will equal 21.
What if you have a game between Team A who are ranked 10th in both attack and defence playing Team B who are ranked 11th in attack and defence? 10 + 11 is also 21 and will therefore also give a Magic Number of 0. Are you saying that a Magic Number of 0 here is just as likely to be a “goal finder” as the first game? Even though on the face of it, this is a game between two evenly matched teams that will potentially cancel each other out and produce a tight, low scoring affair? Thanks, Simon

You're right. I don't answer every comment. I don't have the time. After all, we do this for free. I don't find your question in the slightest challenging or negative, strange you do.
The magic number is a number I developed and use as it produces games with goals. I don't believe there are many teams evenly matched as a whole. If you have two mid table teams that have average attack and average defence ratings, then you have two teams who can score goals and teams who can leak goals.
We have a discord community where these questions can be answered. If people are not keen on the magic number as a metric, then please do your own thing and research. I would hate to think people lost money because they didn't understand the numbers.
As you will notice we don't delete negative comments on this channel. Says a lot about us.

but don't you have to consider every other parameters to determine an outcome?
not just because team a or b has had a harder run in over the last 8 means they will win or draw the game based on ppg alone in your example

Hi. How can one get info on live games from more obscure leagues with no xG or other valuable stats? Is there a specific place? I was wondering cause there are plenty profitable leagues.
which leagues are you looking for particularly??
@@TradingTheMarket Like Honduras, Panama, Mexic second league, those more obscure ones. And knowing where to find useful live data is crucial for trading. xG is obviously not available for those leagues, but at least other data like shots outside and inside the penalty area or idk

I use bet365 for lower tier leagues or less known. Usually they have at least shots off and on target. xG in play is relatively new thing (for live matches) so you wont find data for it in lower tier leagues (unless it is popular like in England you will probably have in play xG stats for championship or even league one - which is 3rd english tier)
