Ritchie Blackmore is untouchable!!!!
One of the greatest hard-rock/metal songs ever recorded. A timeless masterpiece! Been listening to this since it was released and I'm still blown away. Your reaction says it all.
1975. This was in nineteen seventy friggin five!!
This song was decades ahead of its time. It remains a classic for those of us that heralded the first waves of classic metal.
I'm glad to see you blown away, buddy-- the song deserves it.
actually it was '76
@@nim4464 Well s**t. 😁 Still ahead of its time; I'm just behind in mine.
I'm pretty there are sabbath songs that are way heavier from 8 years previously but not to discredit their epicness
The solo guitar is Ritchie Blackmore, also known from Deep Purple. He's one of the greatest guitarists in history.
Rainbow - light in the black
Amazing!!!!
Arguably the first power metal song.
Ritchie blackmore was the guitarist he is my favourite guitarist
8 Minutes of an Epic Masterpiece
Dio's vocals at their peak and Ritchie Blackmore. What more could you ask for? If you do any Dio era Black Sabbath, Heaven and Hell is a must and Sign of the Southern Cross & Falling Off the Edge of the World are great songs also.
Please do another Dio song. Only when he was in another band called Black Sabbath. Song called heaven n hell. Classic and epic
Children of the sea is better than heaven and hell
Cozy Powell was a hell of a Drummer freakin insane and One of a Kind. In his early days playing Rock with traditional grip looked awesome. R.I.P Cozy Powell and Dio.
Ya it’s the dopest song ever written ...
Please do more Rainbow! They have a great collection of classic tracks. Try Gates of Babylon or Rainbow Eyes for something more chilled!
Cozy Powell, great drumer 1998 R.I.P. More song reaction Raibow.
Can't Let You Go
Man On The Silver Mountain
Gates Of Babylon
Wolf To The Moon
Still I'm Sad
Kill The King- Original Studio Version
We all knew you would love this Swaggy.
One of the greatest metal singers, great reaction my friend ❤️. Love everything DIO. Do one off his last Heaven and Hell alubum he's like in his 70s, the song is called "Bible Black'. You'll love it. Last work he ever did.
So glad you reacted to this one, my man. One of my favorite songs of all time and everybody goes crazy on it. This album has been voted the #1 metal album of all time, which is subjective of course, but that speaks to how fire the whole album is. And you know I was singing every word!
Next track might be Heaven and Hell by Black Sabbath. Ronnie said it's his favorite song he ever wrote.
Rainbow Rising is right alongside Machine Head as GOAT for me.
Never ever tire of those two solid gold masterpieces.
It's all about Richie Blackmore, guitarist, writer, and Dio absolute class. Great reviews 👌
React to raindow mistreated live in Munich 1977.you will hear why is dio is one of the best vocalist ever
This is one of the best performances of his career
Best version of the song, hands down.
The single greatest vocal performance ever in rock. No one has ever come close to that performance before or after, including Ronnie himself, and it’s hard to imagine anyone ever giving one that great again. Perfection. Yet he made it look effortless.
Catch the Rainbow from Munich '77 was also very awesome but Mistreated was definitely the best out of the whole Munich concert and definitely also one of his best performances of his career
This Song Is amazing man! 🇧🇷😎
The following song to Stargazer is a sequel of sorts, but has my favorite leads of all time. Definitely worth a listen. It is Light In The Black.
The greatest drum intro ever, I had blisters on my hands for weeks trying to learn it, I never did get it quite right 😂
Kill the king is another absolute banger from rainbow!
welcome to the greatest rock metal voice there ever was and will be Ronnie James Dio
Pure hard rock magic.
Before Dragonforce, before Blind Guardian, before Iron Maiden there was Rainbow! That from which all power metal was born from. Granted this is just audio and not visual but Dio here with Rainbow is where the Metal Horns hand gesture was born from because he was doing it all the time in his performances.
Totally singing and doing Dio style hand gestures and body movements.
Metal sign, it's meant to ward off evil DIO said he got it from his grandmother
@@megarocks911 I'm probably spelling it wrong but it's called the Maloik if I remember correctly.
@@chaospoet yes sir you spelled it right
Hell of a intro. 🤘😝🤘 Richie Blackmore is shredding that guitar! Yo my guy, please react to Metallica: Disposable heroes. It will melt your face lol.
Ritchie Blackmore ex Deep Purple at the Guitar
yes and i was fifteen when this came out and instantly a fan of cozy powell the drummer the driving machine there were no gadgets attached to his drum s to make those rolls two arms two feet and precise perfect beat
Blackmore number One one One 🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸👍👍👍👍👍👍
you need rainbow in your life swaggy like when i was a fifteen year old when this was rwleased and still when i was in my twenties i started to drive i used to drive miles listening to this i still have rainbow i m talking going on fifty plus years man
We in trubbo.
That's whatchu say😂
Masterpiece. Do more RJD
Black Sabbath with Dio Children of The Sea please! :)
Thats it , subscribing now. Keep going with masterful bands. Ronnie is a superhero. This is Richie Blackmores band after he left Deep Purple. An early supergroup of accomplished musicians.
Ronnie James Dio, the undisputed champion of hard rock and metal singers.
If you dig this then definitely check out Deep Purple. Same guitarist (Ritchie Blackmore, good af ) id suggest 1.Highway Star 2. Space Truckin.
"How many of y'all are singing?" Always, any time I hear DIO's voice, I sing it back; was fortunate to see him sing with Black Sabbath in July of 2009 at Red Rocks, only 10 months before he passed, he was 66 yo, he had the cancer at the time, and he was still fucking incredible live!
This song is a rite of passage.
ok.. just sent your vid over to my pa... 1600 w of AMERICAN THUNDER..... windows vibrating at alarming rate..... i enjoy to watch "reaction vids" from time to time.... i was close enough to DIO to hand him a demo tape from my band after a show at an street fest ... he said "thank you" ,, but i never heard back ............. DIO...
This is Dio from the Kickapoo song from jack black and tenacious D.
Five finger death punch. Blue on black and Jekyll and Hyde
thanks for cranking it up.....
Listen drummers work. Great and creative !
It always amuses me when people mention how long the songs are.. 6 minutes.. 8 minutes.. 13 minutes.. whenever the length is more than about 3 minutes "why is it so long?" or '8 minutes? I can't sit through that." or whatever. It amazes me that these people could attend any concert at all.. "the same artist for one hour?"
The point of an 8 or 13 or even a 20 minute song is to enjoy the journey. To get lost in the music or the story being told through the lyrics or the instruments as the case may be. A 3 minute song is not much of a journey.
I did add a like because you seemed to enjoy the music, however. You can never go wrong with anything Dio performed on. Vocally or otherwise.
Since you’ve been gone by rainbow is great
Man On The Silver Mountain is another badass Rainbow tune. The Last In Line, All The Fools Sailed Away, Lock Up The Wolves, Invisible, Rainbow In The Dark, We Rock are all solo bangers. He did a few albums with Black Sabbath as well. Heaven and Hell, Children Of The Sea, Neon Knights, The Sign Of The Southern Cross, The Mob Rules, I, Lady Evil are a few good ones.
Catch the rainbow is my also favorite.
THE LAST IN LINE!!! 👍👍👍 Let's rock it!
Don't talk to Strangers
Best drum intro
Yes I'm singing my ass of, not like DIO of course lol
the video is very cool...
do this song's sequel "A Light In The Black"
Dude I bout passed out trying to sing that wow I need air now.lol
Masterpiece
Next please react Running Wild " Under Jolly Roger"
Neon Knights and Kill The King are both nasty as well
What it is SWAGGY
I’ve never heard anyone reviewing ANY song complain so much about having to do it ! Just keep thinking of the dollars or go back to listening to rap music ?
Epic shit
You gotta follow it up with the next song on the album- 'A Light in the Black'-if you dare! ;)
🤟🏻🖤👊🏻🖤🤟🏻
Dio is great
this song absolutely destroyed me.
Dio is god i daily worship him 🙏
reacction soulfly - bring it pls
You have to do Neon Knights from Black Sabbath
remenber its not all about dio
Yo react to "Egypt" by Dio, you won't be disappointed
React to rata blanca ft Glen huges mistreated
We can suggest some andy williams if this is too much for ya bro?
Too long?!
Eh??
I dont WANT it to stop.
Try "Since You've Been Gone" by Rainbow for something super catchy.
Wtf...really? Stupid song
Post-Dio Rainbow is trash.
@@aloysiuswhiteboat2934 I suppose if anyone knows trash it's you.
@@CCDzine I suggested this song, so I suppose not.
If you wanna pay full respect to Ronnie Dio then you need to go back to where he started. He formed a band called Elf. He was a bass guitartist and vocals for awhile then just vocals.
I can't sing it for two reasons: in my office with lots of co workers who would not appreciate it and, more importantly, DIO's is not a voice you sing with. It is a voice you get from in front of and just listen to.
Them co workers can stick it up their ear pussies. DIO FUCKING ROCKS
I dedicate this song to the soul of Kobe Bryant. R.I.P. KOBE.
Swaggy dont ya just wish you were born earlier so you could've seen these gods play live?..trust me, you really missed it.
