    FYI........CAN termination plugs are now built into every unit with a serial number that ends in 1510 or higher, per dynojet when I contacted them on 8-25-20!

    Thank you Chris for the information. I have 2003 Sereamin Eagle CVO 103 stage 4. I am upgrading from the power Commander 3 to the 5 with an Auto Tuner. When setting up there is no need for a dynamometer and the auto tuner oversees the engine performance while the engine is turned on. This is going on my motorcycle with a dual map switch (change back and forth between to maps).

    Autotune question. I have just installed one, but in the list of devices on the network as you showed in the video it is not listed. I search for new devices but get nothing. The power led on the autotune is on. How would I ensure it is hooked up correctly?

    Just bought an Auto Tune a few days ago and it didn't come with a can termination plug. I called dyno and they told me this was not necessary anymore for the June 2015 and up modules, but every video I've seen says that I SHOULD be using a can termination plug. Help?

    quik shifer
    i have the pvc 5 + auto tune on my 11 zx10r and i need to add a quik shifter to it do i need Power Commander(Q.E.M.) or (S.F.M)+ Quick Shifter sensor to make it work? i know that both will make it work but im wondering if Q.E.M alone will make it work with my 11 zx10r
    does it adversely affect in the future for street ride
    thanks

    Why have 1 device when you could pay for 3?

  • @collinherold8047
    @collinherold8047 Před 2 lety

    Why not design and create just one module/box with everything inside it already? Or at least make it so one module is simply capable of running all those features, and they're like digital expansion packs or something. Idk what engineer, manager, or marketing team thought this was the way to go.

    • @DynojetResearch
      @DynojetResearch  Před 2 lety

      Not everyone needs every module to suit their riding style. The more cost-effective and efficient route is to have optional modules.

    Christ ! Just build one unit that does all ffs...its called a ECU ..this is bollocks .where do I put all this on my bike . I dont have room to carry a spark plug spanner. 🤦‍♂️🤪

    • @DynojetResearch
      @DynojetResearch  Před 3 lety

      Paul, these are optional add-ons for the Power Commander V. You'll still get optimal air/fuel ratio with the Power Commander V itself. These options are for those who want more control over performance.

    Stupid designs tbh. Having troubles with my gsxr600 install for commander and ignition module. Airings weird and who wants to put a bunch of modules in the bike where there already isn’t much room. Wtf!
