- In this episode I go through how to make FISH CHUM DIY at home. Chum blocks can get crazy expensive so why not save some money and make your own.
I use a Sun Joe Wood Chipper, Dead and frozen baits, Menhaden Oil, Oats, Purina Fish Food and grind that all up! Works awesome out on the water!

Thank for this video. I have always wanted to use the leftovers of fileted fish for chum but didn't know quite how to go about it. Do you think a large hand meet grinder could also to the trick?
Ya 💯. This just does it a bit quicker and more volume. Try it out, if not the wood chipper always works!
Awesome video, excellent ideas. How did you go about opening and using them? I use those mesh bags for crab boils and put the mesh in first, then in the baggie then freeze it. Or do you just open the bag and put it in a chum bag?
The bag rips off the chum pretty easily. Def try it.

I make my own chum as well dude.. we hate spending money on fishing trips. The only money I spend now is just gas for my boat 😂
