  • A basic but effective method for making shark chum. Using various fish, bran and fish oil, I made this in my back garden. Ready to use straight away or can be kept in the freezer for when you need it.

So much fun going fishing with you on the boat. All the great baiting talk, catch and loosing experience, and the boat driving along in the water with those dolphin pals, all is a joy to watch😀Thank you

Hi, do you use ground bait when fishing for other fish and if so have you done a similar video on making it ? Thanks for the video. Cheers Bob

Hi john, have you tried a paint mixer paddle in a drill to mix the chum 👍

Hello John we are based at Eastbourne further up the coast from you. I wonder if you could give some advise on shark fishing in our area. I appreciate we haven't got the depth but I'm sure they are about. What time of the year is best? If you have any pointers that would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Dave

I live in Bridlington and we see sharks in the summer months. If you watch John's shark videos he shows u all you need to know. When you get one, they are big and strong. They can knock you overboard and try bite you. Be safe :0)

Should make your own fish oil from farmed trout left overs they are normally given away and they are fed on oily pellets you get loads of oil once refined and the most smelliest of stuff I can promise you that 😅
