I see so many videos (mostly true crime stuff) where the moms support the dads and abandon the kids. I was in tears proud of this mom.
I've heard so many stories where the mom turns on the daughter I got anxious as soon as she started telling the story. Not that mama! And it sounds like she kicked his ass to the curb within a day! In regards to the first story: Something I haven’t really seen people address in the comments is the fact that the girl had SIX potential candidates and her gut instinct was that it was her stepfather. THAT says a huge amount about the potential signals/behaviours her stepfather might have already been displaying towards her and/or in general, which is hugely disturbing in and of itself. Absolutely disgusting and heartbreaking but I’m so glad that she told her mother right away and her mother believed her and kicked him to the curb.

Wasn't getting along with my stepdad when I was a teenager, so I made the mistake of googling "Stepdad Stories" and the number of teen girls I found online asking for help and advice because their stepfather was a literal sexual predator was astounding. In almost all of them, their mother knew and CHOSE to do nothing. The girl in the first story has no idea how lucky she is.

My stepdad was a creep too 🤢 like literally would hit on all of my friends who came over and it eventually got so uncomfortable for all of us that they wouldn’t come over and I just stopped staying at home all together and would stay with friends. If I absolutely had to go home I would wait until late at night to sneak in so as not to see him (he had to get up at 4 AM to go to work everyday) thank God him and my mom aren’t together anymore 🤢

4:36 after listening to the full story, i would like to put mine out here. I’m not expecting many people to see it but those who do, i want you to know that I’m in a much safer position now and couldn’t ask for a better life. Anyways, In 2008 my mom found her high school sweetheart on Facebook and they started dating and got married a year later. Fast forward to 2015, i was 12 at the time, my step dad thought it would be ok to start kissing me on the lips and pinching my butt if i was wearing short shorts. It took about a year for me to say anything to my mom cause she didn’t see any of it happening and as soon as i did, she lost all respect and love she had for him. Unfortunately we had to stay in the same house as him for benefits but my mom kept a close eye on me for years to make sure he didn’t try anything more (he did a couple times but my mom was right up his ass if he did) and finally in 2019, my mom found her amazing new boyfriend who we live with now in our own house and don’t talk to him anymore. He financially helps us with a lot of stuff and he is more of a dad to me than the guy who i called dad for over 10 years. But please don’t ever let your family take advantage of you. Im someone who any of you guys can turn to for help out of a situation. You’re never alone and i love you all❤

I can't believe that some people are blaming her for what happened. She can do whatever she wants with her own body. Having her step father subscribe to her was NOT her fault. Well, VPN wasn't really his downfall. It was using the same username on OF and TikTok and linking his real phone number to the TikTok account. Even then, it was down to a few people. He just seemed like the most likely, to her, based on the ones that were left after she eliminated a ton of others.
The "how delusional are you" one upsets me because when I was young I knew a guy who kissed me, said he loved me and said "marry me" but my friends were all "you think every guy likes you". Ever since then, if a guy straight up says, "I like you," my friends' comments just bounce around in my head.

What’s so disturbing about that first story is that this step dad had been in the girl’s life and I’m assuming house for years… who knows what boundaries he may have overstepped while she was growing up and thinking she was in a safe environment. I feel like her mom felt absolutely terrible and like a bad mom for inviting such a gross man into her home and daughter’s life.
That step-dad was a total creep. Just how long was that obsession going on for?
A similar bathroom situation once happened to me.
I was in a stall, and I heard a guy run in fast, taking tiny steps, obviously clenching his cheeks.
I suppressed my giggles.
He then flung a stall door open, and slammed it shut, and his trousers hit the ground in one fluid motion.
It took every fibre of my being to hold my laughter in.
The world then exploded from his bottom as he heaved a huge sigh of relief.
It was then that I totally lost it, and belly laughed so hard.
I then had the awkward decision, of whether I sneak out before he finished, or hide out in the stall until he left.
I chose the latter option.
I think he must have been so embarrassed, as he slinked off a lot quieter than he came in.
Years ago, I had a similar experience in the ladies room at Walmart. There was a woman washing her hands, I was in a stall, some poor lady in the last stall sounded like the flying monkeys from hell just flew out of her butt. It was at that precise moment that my phone rang. At the time, my ringtone was "Ring of Fire". The hand-washing lady lost it, couldn't hold back laughing. I got out of there as quickly as I could before the unfortunate bowl-blaster left the stall. Hand-washing lady and I exchanged looks like 😳😲 and got out of there. I told her, "I've got to change that ringtone!"

I was on my way out of the stall when my phone rang, so she saw me holding my phone and frantically trying to mute it as the explosions in the last stall continued.

The creepiest part is, this happens A LOT and they just never get exposed. I can't imagine.
