Hi, I'm Charlotte Dobre. I'm an actor, reactor, singer and sometimes (not really) comedian. On this channel I do reactions, commentary and occasionally I make a joke or two. I love poking fun at social media, weddings, entitled people, tiktok and OF COURSE petty people. I upload daily, usually 7 days a week, unless life gets crazy or I get lazy. Come hang out, it's a good time.

Just a note here since many of you are getting a bit heated: I do recognize most fake videos and I ask the editors to cut them out-y’all just don’t see that because they don’t make the Final Cut that gets posted to CZcams. I didn’t catch that the first one in this video was fake and neither did my content producer or my editor. My content producers find me thousands of videos to react to every single month. Out of those thousands, it’s extremely possible that some will be staged, and that’s okay. The message is still relevant and so is my commentary.
I love you charlotte
It is just entertainment. Aint that deep. Love your content
People just want to find something to whine about! Love you and your content, it keeps me sane.
I did spot the ring on her finger that looks like an engagement ring but only when I looked for it. It didn't scream "fake" to me, so people need to lay off the criticism.
Charlotte never apologize! You’re so real with your reactions I don’t even care sometimes a fake video slips through cuz you’re still always so genuine and real 🙌🏽 love your channel !! I always look forward to your uploads 🫶🏽🫶🏽🫶🏽🫶🏽
The second one is a cute story 😂😂 I got to drunk on my first date and he stayed with me until I was ok. I couldn’t walk and I kept throwing up. The next day I woke up to him seating on the couch. He said “you okay? I made breakfast for you.” I was drunk but I knew what was going on around me. He cured my handover which was until evening. We’ve been together for 20 years. 😊
That's the sign of a genuine guy, either a keeper or a lifelong friend. Sounds like you got both!
Are you still together
Aww, that's so cute!
@@Shining_Nikki_Lover yeah, we’ve been together for 20 years now and going on 21 years. ☺️
@@phoenixgarcia-martin8203 great for both of you yeah😊

I mean, what better sign could one ask for? :D
Love the cabin story. If someone’s that chill and supportive if absolutely everything goes wrong, he’s a keeper.
On my second date with a guy, he put me in a chokehold because he wanted to show off his martial arts skills. Then he threw me to the ground and started "fake punching" me, all the while I just looked at him in shock, totally speechless. The chokehold actually hurt. But the worst thing is, he didnt even ask if he could show me some moves, but rather just grabbed me without warning. Needless to say, I never saw that guy again 😅
That happened to me too!!! Major red flag
💀💀bruh where are you people finding these men
@venomoose4333 they're everywhere. Unfortunately hard to spot until it's not
A d started a new kink .lol
Un-be-liev-able.
He probably never has had any girlfriend. Girls just avoid him and he doesn't understand why.
I met someone on a tinder date. There was no attraction, but we became somewhat good friends. A year after hanging out with this person on a regular basis I finally met a group of his friends and they asked me why I was calling him Dan. I was like "because that's his name?" He got all flusterd and pulled me aside and told me he used a fake name on dating sites and after we became friends he didn't know how to tell me that wasn't his real name. I called him the wrong name for a freaking year.
🤣. I used to also use a fake name after running into one stalker on a dating app, but I'd tell people after a few days of knowing them once I was more secure that they weren't an obsessed crazy stalker. Most people were pretty understanding, but some were upset that I lied to them, before I even knew them. 😂
I find fake names on dating apps to be a red flag. Either the person is in a relationship, attracts creeps, or is just a liar for funsies. All of those for me are normally a quick pass. I get it's for your safety, but to violate trust right off the bat when trying to find someone to trust you wholeheartedly seems like not my cup of tea.
I've used variations of my name before. I will tell guys I want to talk to my name as soon as possible though.
I use to use my middle name on the apps and only told ppl I like my first name. Also I have two middle names so I had options.
I went on a few dates but ultimately am just friends with someone who uses fake names (different ones on each app he’s on) and idk. It’s not really a red flag if you think about internet safety.
I’m already yelling “HOW ARE YOU NOT EMBARRASSED!“ in Charlotte Dobre

Haha I was gonna post this😂
Some people have ZERO self awareness 😂
My worst first date story: I was set up on a blind date for the freshman class party in college. The guy was cute and we had good conversation. But for some reason he kept leaving the room for a few minutes and then coming back without an explanation. Eventually his friend told me that my date had eaten something that morning that didn't agree with him, and he kept leaving the room to go throw up. But he didn't want to embarrass me by leaving me in the middle of the party, so he was sticking it out.
That was when my date and I were 18 and 19. We have now been married 32 years. :-)
Soooo did u Kiss on the first date😂
Ah damn that poor guy Thats sooo cute
That’s so cute! He really didn’t want to cancel on you. That’s dedication from the beginning. I can see why y’all got married and have stayed together ❤❤
He was definitely a trooper
worst first date 🤦
This girl who kept mispronouncing daiquiri for her entire video was killing me 😂😂😂
If that was our first date, I’d have adored every second of her time. She seems amazing
SAME🤣 I’m from Nola and I was like BABE😭 I love her
It's pretty funny because, as far as I know as a Spanish speaker myself (native), they are pronounced like die kitty if an accent at the last i
@@marzipanchuwu1488Exactly lol, had me wondering if she really even spoke Spanish . 😂
"My friends are here." I have literal TEARS rolling down my face from the second story. I had to pause the video to regain my composure. 😂😂😂😂😂
That poor girl!!! Lol! That was the kind of stuff you see on sitcoms, not real life. 😂😂😂
@@Ivy94FI know, right?! I was laughing throughout the whole story, but I lost it at, "My friends are here."
Same! I was rolling 😂😂
i snorted laughing....oh by the way did i mention im at work with a headset on!!!
Does anyone know who she is? She's hilarious 😂
Speaking of di queries...a friend of mine was in Mexico and didn't speak any Spanish (at all). He went into a pharmacy looking for mosquito repellant and went through a whole, hysterical pantomime flapping his arms, buzzing and holding up a protruding finger like he had this big extended nose that could poke people. The folks who worked at the drug store didn't have the heart to tell him that mosquito is a Spanish word and they knew what he was looking for. They watched him swat his own face several times before they handed him a bottle of repellant and sent him on his way.
💀🤣
😂
😂🤣💀
Well, thanks to that story I know NOT to make that mistake lol
Prior to this, the most humbling "I don't speak Spanish" story I'd ever heard was when a guy I know who was visiting Mexico on a missions trip said he was "embarazado" while trying to say that he was embarrassed, but I think that this is somehow worse.
For the guy who saw the wrong girl, I have a similar story:
I met a guy "Andy" who was a friend of a friend at their show. Musician, brown eyes, long beard, cute smile; you get it. We swapped numbers and agreed to meet a few days later.
Later comes along, I happened to go to my 10 year high school reunion earlier in the night, and it was very very cheap drinks.
By the time I got to the bar to meet him, it was pretty packed. Looking around I turned and smiled seeing him on the other end of the bar. Long beard, cute smile, brown eyes, check, check, check.
He smiled back, so I walked up to him all familiar and said, "hey how are you?"
He looked like a combination of surprised and delighted and said, "Um hey, I'm "Jack" nice to meet you". I panicked internally, ended up introducing myself and befriending him because I was equally embarrassed and had tons of liquid courage. We continued to hang out, and he invited me to get something to eat. He drove us to what used to be a 24 hour diner, but changed hours and was closed. I very politely asked him to pull over anyway and opened my door to throw up in the gutter while apologizing profusely.
He takes me to his house, and while I half sit/ half sprawl across his bed, he politely helps me take my shoes off, as I answer my phone - finally Andy calling to let me know he had gone home cause he couldn't find me. Jack was a gentleman, and the next morning after asprin and coffee consumed, we hit it off, meeting a few times after.
While not together, Jack and I are friends to this day. Andy turned out to have had a girlfriend and figured I was "cool to be discreet" - massive bullet dodged.
Jack sounds like a consummate gentleman!
Great story, Love that you two became friends!!
It was over a year that I buckled and told Jack; he thought it was hilarious
Jack, in that moment was a guardian angel in disguise 🙏 thrilled to hear you became friends, everyone needs a Jack 💚🙏
No kidding 😂 oml 😩
I give props to people who keep trying dating throughout their lives. I’m 23, just started dating this year and I’ve already given up after 7 dates, at least for now. And it’s going great and peaceful, just learning to appreciate myself more so I never have to settle for these terrible experiences. These videos remind me that it’s okay to be single.
Also, I was expecting the hiking girl’s story to end with her getting shoved off the cliff by her date, but I was relieved that it was still lighthearted and she and the guy continued dating after. 💕
I also feared her date was going to push her off the cliff, lol!
I never went on a date until I was 22. I had just returned from an overseas assignment in the Air Force. I was set up on blind date. She was avery beautiful lady. She made laugh so much on the date I was crying. We've been married for 47 years ane she's the only lady I've dated. So that's my best and worse first date.
Awww congratulations 👏🎉👏
That is really sweet!
That's a beautiful story!
You are one lucky man ❤
What a beautiful story. ❤ Thank u for sharing it. Congrats to u both!
the second date was sooo funny and so sweet of her date to stay with her until the very end, considering the amount of eventful stuff he witnessed and experienced from the girl haha. he's a real one.
“It was a 5 7” blonde girl, they all look the same”😂😂
Dudeee
The diarrhea chick -- I hope she and the guy got married.
That story was fkn epic.
The guy who greeted the wrong girl on a first date seems like a sweetheart to me. I hope he finds someone who appreciates him.
When I used to be on dating sites, there were so many profiles where the main/all pics would be of 2 or more women. So I don't really fault him for not knowing.
I too wish him the best.
I got bad vibes from him
8:50 Here’s a possible reason that boy kept seeing you:
- clumsy
- reckless
+ a guy who know how & is capable of retrieving the phone _just happens_ to be there
++ that guy _happens_ to be nice enough to agree to retrieve the phone
+++ phone miraculously is completely intact and fully functional after falling off a cliff
= this girl has luck to spare
That boy did the math and said he wants some of that😂.
I love that girl who fainted so much. That whole story was crazy, hilarious, and it had the best ending ❤ I can't wait for their wedding! 🎉
The first video seems fake. She’s wearing an engagement ring. I think it’s her actual fiancé and staged.
Same.
I came here to say this. People are so social media desperate for any attention these days.
I love Charlotte but she has the habit of reacting to fake videos😂
It is fake, also she doesn't pick the videos so it's not her fault
100%
Bawled out laughing at the girl who fainted/pooped. She told that story really well
The cabin in the woods story reminded me of a friend's 1st date. She was nervous and got heartburn. But instead of taking Maalox, she downed Miralax and got explosive diarrhea. He still married her and they had a set of twins :)
Oh god, not miralax! 😂 It was meant to be, I guess! ❤
I never went on dates assuming I would be paid for. My now husband of 17 years took me to a very expensive restaurant on our first date and I was broke. I looked at the menu and had a mini heart attack so I told him I wasn’t that hungry and ordered just a side Caesar salad.😂
I just admitted to him like five years ago why that was my first date meal😂😂😂😂😂😂
I met my husband when my daughter was having a bad allergic reaction to my laundry detergent. Down to my last dollar freaking out at the laundry mat. He walked up and gave me $20. Randomly, told me he's a single dad and knows what it's like. We wound up staying up till 2am with all 3 of kids on a school night in a McDonald's parking lot. Best date ever!!!!
Our joke is he bought me for $20 and now his refund policy is I'll and void. Lol😂😂😂
Meet cute❤❤❤
I love this story 😊

Every time someone says they want for a hike or to a cabin on a first (or within the first few) date, all I think of is, "This is how people die in movies." I think the character Trisha in Jeepers Creepers said it best, "You know that part in scary movies when someone does something really stupid and everyone hates them for it? This is it."
Same..or better yet, going up on a random cliff (while being a klutz) and wanting to sit over the side. I picture getting pushed off the ledge - too much true crime I guess!
@@phillyphan1225 true. I actually tested an ex boyfriend like that once to see if he was a psychopath. I had reason to believe he was heading in that direction. If he pushed me I would know the truth. He didn't touch me
@@amymattaliano7634 if he pushed you!? Would you have made it through the fall to even know that he was a psychopath!? 🤨
@@chelsealynn996 the truth is that I knew he wouldn't push me. Either way, it was years ago.
Hate to be that guyyyy but unfortunately Jeepers Creepers was made by a convicted sex offender. Victor Salvo. You can look it up. It sucks bc that movie gives me the absolute creeps and to know the guy is a CONVICTED offender makes the movie scarier, but also made me not want to watch it ever again.
8:45 You better have graciously thanked that random man who offered to grab your phone for you and pay it forward
I love what you said about not letting him pay if you don’t see it going anywhere…so mature and kind you are a real lady!
The girl with all the mishaps on her first date and the guy who stuck around, that was awesome! If you can make it through something like that in the early stages, you are long term material. It's interesting to see who is willing to stick around in crisis. If he's there for you getting sick on the first date, then keep him around!
That story reminded me of when I was in the begging stages of my relationship and my bf asked to use my bathroom. After some time I got concerned and asked if he needed anything. He clogged my toilet so bad the plunger wasn’t doing anything. It was so bad my mom ended up checking on us and had to help 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂.
One of my inlaws has significant IBS. From what I remember from the story, on her first date with this guy she went to grade school with (they had crushes on one another back then), he took her on his fancy , expensive fishing boat. Only a few minutes after they set off, she had intense stomach pain and told her date she had to go to the bathroom...pronto. He thought she was kidding . She wasn't...and the worst happened. She had to carry her soiled jeans in a plastic bag and he had to clean up his boat when they got back to the riverbank and obviously, ended the date early. Not only did he ask her out again...but they will be celebrating their third wedding anniversary in October. Now, THAT is true love.
I've had a similar date as the first one..I "went to the bathroom," found the waitress and told her to stop the food order and left. Absolutely MORTIFYING!
Worst first date- Picked a Mexican girl up at her house. There was a family reunion. She wanted to introduce me to her entire family. FML. Wait there’s more. Everyone, except her sister, spoke the same amount of English as I did Spanish- none. After introductions that were mainly head nods and smiles she sat me down in the living room and went to mingle. I sat staring and smiling at everyone else. Her sister stopped to talk to me was it. Her sister did tell her I was bored and she needed to spend time with me, but she wanted to see her relatives. I couldn’t even drink since I was driving. After an hour and a half I made an excuse and left. So much for the date. 😂😂😂 What’s really funny is my wife is Korean and meeting her family was exactly the same thing. 😂😂😂
I was at a bar with my WIFE, and I went out for a smoke. I came back in and kissed her on the cheek, saying, "Hey baby, I'm back."
Then I looked at this woman and her guy. My first comment was, "I'm so sorry, I thought you were my wife."
At this same time, my wife came out of the restroom to see me kissing another woman on the cheek.
It's funny now... but that was not a good night for me. 😂
Dang ouch
Lol
How did you not get punched lol
How are you not recognizing your own wife? Or you just someone that likes to kiss some random women and call it a day
@polkadots2823 this woman looked just like my wife, and she was during in the same spot that my wife was when I went outside.
Awww the cabin in the woods/diarrhea one was really great. I loved it. I hope they stay together forever.
1:56 the whole "sure u dont want a salad instead" knowing he had no intention of paying is soo messed up
I love the "cabin in the woods" story! Practically every date story I've heard, where one or the other of the couple has something terrible and/or mortifyingly embarrassing happen to them. They almost always go on to be long-term.
I had a first date that seemed like everything kept going wrong. I gave him wrong directions on accident and he showed up like 30 mins late. We were almost late for the movie and he seemed really shy. I felt so bad that he ghosted me… for a year! Texted me out of the blue (yes a year later) we ended up trying a second date and been together ever since. Been married 7 years now.
did he say why he texted you after a year??
Yes! Why did he ghost you for one year???
We’re all wondering the same thing here 😂 why did he message you a year later?
He had to go out of country for his best friends wedding. When he got back he started a new job on nights and was afraid he waited too long to text me back. He finally texted me back a year later as a Hail Mary when he was ready to try dating again(probably with the help of some liquid courage). He was really shy the first few months we dated and has always had a high work ethic so time just kinda got away from him. It work out, we were both working nights at the time and I think both over the “dating” scene.
Honestly the second story sounds like the start of a perfect relationship. If you can make it through THAT together you might as well just get married 😂
My biggest issue with the two dates i got so far is,that it was boring. We never got over the basic funny part. I never saw much unique personality shine through.
But i think if some crap like this goes down, you learn a lot more about that person, you're friends just because you got a story together
UPDATE: HE PROPOSED TODAY!☺️💍
My boyfriend and I didn't have our first actual date until we had already been going out for about 3 months and realized we hadn't been on a proper date🤣First time we meet, we were just meeting as potential friends. Ended up spending about 11 and a half hours together just drinking and talking (yay UK culture) and I didn't have intentions of dating anyone at the time. Fast forward and we're still together 2 years today 😊
Congratulations

The girl in the daiquiri story was basically saying the word correctly if we are going along with the fact that it is actually a Spanish word. The drink is Cuban and phonetically it is pronounced die-keer-ree. She took the Spanish pronunciation and just said it like a non-Spanish speaker. 😊
That 👆
As an Italian I didn't understand what the problem was, to me she was clearly saying it right. On the other hand if I had listened to the English pronunciation I would not have understood. It makes my skin crawl like when they say paella or jalapenos to stay in theme
She said daiqueeree not daikiri tho
@@bexyr How do you pronounce paella? I hadn't heard of it until I worked in sk funnily enough, there they called it like "pie-eh-ya/paiehya"

Dude i have IBS-D and travel anxiety that makes that worse but that one girls story gives me hope theres someone out there that will deal with my stomach issues :(
I am Filipino and lives now in New Orleans. First time I ordered Beignets, I said can I order a “Big Nets” and people were laughing 😂
For me, it wasn’t so much the first date, but the after-ness. We were at a Super Bowl party and had a great time, but my best friend was looking at him really uncomfortably and kept shrinking away from him. I brushed it off, figuring she just didn’t like him. After he left, she told me he went to her school and HE HAD STALKED HER. He even followed her right onto her bus and straight to her house 😱😱😱😱😱
There's a local creep who rides the bus. He's had a history of trying to force his way into homes of girls he's bothering.
Every time he sits by me, on the bus, he tries his pitch. I remind him every time I know what he's up to, I've seen him before, and give him my version of "Oh, Hell no, psycho!!"
He's finally in jail for some of this, but it was a long time coming.
Yikes!
The chick laughing her ass off as she told the story of her first date with her dude restored my faith in true romance.
I agree, hopefully they share bodily fluids for life. Too cute.
To the concussed, grumbly tummy, sleep talker -- you can tell you found a winner! I wish you many happy years together!
My uncle had an Otter Box phone incident too! He was recording at a lake with his family, in the middle of the water and dropped his phone. They couldn't find it that day and figured they would come back the following day when it was daylight and search then. Not only did they find, but it was completely fine. It literally recorded until the phone died. He showed us all the video 😂
About 40ish years ago, my friend make the drunken move of giving my phone number to a guy she worked with. He called me and for some stupid reason I agreed to go out with him. Charlotte, this was in your old university stomping ground of Victoria. There was this bar that was the biggest dive in town, filled with some real degenerates and not considered to be very safe at all. I'd only been there once before when my friend and I were getting off-sales, and the stripper was quite visibly pregnant. And this was where this guy chose to take me, on a first date. He then proceeded to sit and talk to his friends, and ignore me. After about 20 minutes I went to the bathroom, but instead asked the bartender to call me a taxi, and I left. I found out later that he was married, not separated, actively married. He then had the gall to bitch to my friend about how I embarrassed him in front of his friends. I hated dating, and avoided it until I met my husband. We were together for 22 years and we split almost 6 years ago, although we're still good friends. I moved to Winnipeg after the split and I haven't dated at all here. I don't care if I'm single for my "golden" years, I'm happy with my cat Chewie, and my friends. If I meet somebody, fine, but I'm not interested in searching someone out.
You just be Golden, Girl! You're just living your best life now. There's a huge difference between alone and lonely. I think you are the former. You are a complete person, regardless of who else may or may not be in your life. Cheers!
What a story! And an adventure and a life! 22 years is no joke, I'm 55, the longest relationship I've been in was a year, dated a few times befor and after that but naw, I got my cats, weed and the youtube. I'm fine! You can go golden anytime!
@@seanothepop4638 , that's me too, my cat Chewbella(Chewie for short), weed and CZcams, and I'm not complaining about that, lol!

@@jenniferwintz2514 , exactly, I'm often alone, but I'm very rarely lonely. It helps that I'm what's known as an extroverted introvert. I had the daiquiri issue but with the word hors d'oeuvres. I pronounced it "horse divorce". My parents later on told me that they thought I was mentally challenged and never corrected me
I may pronounce it the same way 😭😭😂😂
😂
I have no idea why this got me so bad but it did 😂😂😂
I literally just found out how hors d'oeuvres was spelled. I have never seen it written before in my 31 years of living. I was so confused😣

An eventful date can show how you deal with issues. Working together though the issues is a keeper.
I'm in love with the hot spring girl 😂 the My Hero shirt, the hilarious story, the sleep talking 😅 girl saaaame
My very first date ever was one for the books. It was a blind date set up by my friend who said that I should give the guy a chance, he was a coworker of hers at the time. We reserved a table at Mcgrath's Fish house for 6pm on Valentine's Day, I paid for half, he paid for half. HOWEVER! When the day came to meet each other in person, I dolled myself up a little I looked alright and pretty good. I come to find out he was there already, I go to check myself in, only to be told my reservation was already taken by "me" already. Yep, my blind date stole my half the reservation I PAID FOR to bring someone else.
I told my friend about it and she was mortified, she could not stop apologizing to me for her mistake that night and brought over a bottle of vodka to share with me. Of course I forgave her knowing she probably didn't know this guy would do that. Oof, I tell you the event put me off love for awhile.
You totally should have gone to the table and asked the woman for your money back in front of him 😂
I’ve never heard of a place where you pay ahead like that. What a shitty dude.
OMG GIRLS!!!! If a man 'forgets his wallet' or is 'waiting for a cheque to clear' (that's a good one), just pay for YOUR meal and leave. It is not illegal and will serve him right.
🙌🏼 YES!!
You have to inform young people of this. You'd be surprised how my youngster don't know these types of simple things.
@@OneCatShortOfCrazy Super fake!!!! I mean, a BABY!!! Yeah right.
Neither had placed an order yet, I would have just left and gone to eat elsewhere alone. (Not coz he wasn’t going to pay, but because the guy was trying to con the girl into paying. He was prob on his phone arranging tomorrows meal being paid for with another girl. He didn’t forget his wallet either, he was trying to minimise cost and when he realised it wasn’t working he said he had no way of paying)
I like to pay for my own meal and maybe the guys meal if I liked them but def not if they expected it on a date.
Dates like the ones in the second clip are the type that will either make you bond with someone from experiencing all those emotions together like it did here, or expose incompatibilities/red flags early on that you may have "wasted some time" having to discover on your own in more typical circumstances. A little bit like a couple's first getaway together, or first trip to Ikea! (bonus if you can manage to assemble the furniture together!)
I really loved the second story!
I love our first date story, it supports Charlotte's point. It was Very eventful.
We had been talking for a while, and decided to meet up at this cute riverside gazebo for a romantic and cute dinner picnick. He had me bring drinks and said he'd bring the food. When we pulled up, it started pouring. We called each other from our respective cars, and agreed to make a run for the gazebo and just enjoy the storm over some dinner. However, the gazebo had other plans for us. It had so many holes with water pouring through it, it was almost worse than being in the rain. So we dashed back and hopped in his car and dried off. We decided to go for broke and just try to eat in the car and chat, and then replan a dinner date later in the week.
So we start opening up the food, and this man brought ribs. Racks of ribs. I'm game, let's eat car ribs on a first date in the rain. Bonus fact, they sent one napkin. One. And it wasn't a good napkin, no, it was those cheap, thin, brown ones fast food places use. 😅 So needless to say that was destroyed after the first use.
The conversation thread was going well as we ate, and we ended up just laughing and rolling down the windows so we could rinse our hands in the rain. (It was very late, nothing was open at this point) and now being cleaned up and full, we just kept chatting. We shared our whole lives in that car, and when I tell you this man got out of the car and hopped around in the rain to wake himself up so he could keep talking to me rather than go home and go to bed I do not lie. At the end of the date, which was around 3am at this point he pulled out a rose out of nowhere and asked if I'd go on a second date officially with him. Man was so confident it was going to go well that he had a rose locked and loaded. Then before I could answer he pulls out a Reeses and says, "ya know, to sweeten the deal." 😂
When we drove away that night I looked at him from my car and knew I was going to marry that man.
It's been 6 years, we're getting married in October. ❤
Eventful first dates are a good sign it's going to go fantastic.
OMG that story is the COOLEST. I love this for you!
What a beautiful story! ❤
Omg love is REAL
@ellielou52 lol it is and it feels amazing every day.
That's the most badass, beautiful first date story I've read. I'm kinda tearing up, no lie. I wish you many more beautiful and lovely years together ❤️ 💕
Seeing how people react to the unexpected allows you to know them a lot better than a conversation. That's probably why eventful dates bring you to the "make it or break it" phase on the spot. It's the same with vacations, you get a taste of that person's everyday's behavior.
That’s second was awesome lol I love how they’re still together!! 🤣
A guy I knew from our sports club asked me on a date many years ago. So he picks me up and instead of a date he takes me to an AMWAY presentation and recruitment event. They even tried to prevent me from leaving by body-blocking me so that I couldn't get to the door while telling me that it would be 'worth it'. I had to start shouting at all of the potential recruits that it was a scam and pyramid scheme and to not fall for it. Once I did they let me leave. I had to get a taxi to go home. That was my worst 'date' ever.
Girl: “I’m a bit of a thrill seeker and want to dangle my feet over the edge.”
Also girl: “I’m a bit of a klutz.”
Me thinking that these two things should not be embodied in the same person. Know your limits girl! 😂🤣
@@UnExcited42 fully agree that ya first gotta learn your limits but if she already knows she’s a klutz then why tempt fate was my point.
@@davidguidry657bad combination but it happens
RIGHT?!! I know I'm a klutz, so I never go near the edge of anything!
I live on a mountain and most of my 20 acre property is not flat. My house sits on the top of the highest point, and there are two deep ravines on either side but a few dozen feet away. There's even a ridge that has a cliff drop of @ 60 feet, straight down that I don't go near. When I'm outside I use a walking pole, but I still fall frequently.
A month ago, I wasn't watching my feet and tripped over the tire in my goat pen that holds their rubber food dish. I went flying, fell face first in goat poop that got in my mouth! Worst of all, I fractured my nose and had black eyes for over a week. The next day I was very dizzy, and while trying to sweep the floor in my kitchen I passed out and hit the floor, hard. My metal rimmed glasses dug deep into the side of my forehead and blood was everywhere from the gash it left. I should have gotten stitches because that gash hasn't healed very nicely.
My son came back from a hike, saw copious amounts of blood on the kitchen floor and found me lying down in my room, not making much sense. I wouldn't let him call for help, he told me later, but now I think that was a mistake. I must have had a concussion because I don't remember anything that day after I felt myself losing consciousness.
@@LazyIRanch I’m a klutz but I like looking down. I perfected the art of having a death grip on my things so I won’t lose them to gravity
@@LazyIRanch also I’m glad you’re alive
The second video was a terrible date but a damn good story and cherry on top that they're still together! Good for them 😂😂😂
I'm so happy for her!
Eyepatch girl🤣 ........freaking have tears running down my face......so funny
Lol the second one made me laugh so hard my face hurt and my sides too.
This is what I needed to not get on dating apps again. Thanks much appreciated.
The one where she had explosive diarrhoea on their 3rd date, along with everything else, was hilarious. I expected her to say they were married but still together is awesome, I'd say them wedding bells be ringing one day.
Blessings from Australia 🌻💛🌻
Not gonna lie, the hiking date sounds like an amazing first date. Its got action, adventure, an NPC, there's treachery involved, and a prize. Thats pretty dope.
“If he’s scared of a little diarrhea”…. Lost it 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
I was so anxious/nervous on my first date. When he leaned in to kiss me, I ended up almost throwing up on him because I'd worked myself up so much! I managed to turn around and run to the bathroom. I was so embarrassed and I was seriously debating on living in that bathroom for the rest of my life lol 12 years later and he's still the best person I've ever met ❤️❤
THAT IS LOVE! that boy ran the gauntlet and came out on top! Good on him! Hahahhahaaaaaaa
Before we were married, my husband and I went to get breakfast when he ordered his eggs "Sunny Delight." The waitress and I burst into laughter. He was a good sport about it. Whenever we go there, she will say, "You want those eggs 'sunny delight?' Even when he says 'sunny side up', she still says 'sunny delight.'
First date should always be COFFEE! If it's horrible you can bounce after 15 minutes. If it's good it can turn in to a lunch and the next date can be dinner. Take notes!
Only coffee date is walking with a coffee in hand (beach, park and other outdoor places). Sitting down and having coffee dates are boring.
i literally despise a coffee date... i want to get to know you, not feel like im at an interview
@@user-bd9uo8dw3jalso safer. I'm not going wandering around alone outdoors with someone I just met and I don't know unless it's a group activity.
@@bm-ww8kb 💯
@@bm-ww8kb exactly!! The girl who said she hiked with a guy wtf no that’s not what you do on your first date that’s a horror story waiting to happen 😮
The diquiries story reminds me of my similar story. I was 16 and selling things on Facebook marketplace in my town. A woman was meeting me at the coffee shop with my friends and she typed out "I'm in a silver suv". I read it and said out loud "what's a soov?" 😅 it was in all lowercase so I didn't realize it was SUV and I have never lived it down.
the third video about the HS couple hiking would definitely not be considered the bad first date! that was such an adventure lol! probably the most excitement they’d ever had including the guy that helped them out. true it was just a phone but imagine telling that story later on it’ll be something that sticks with you forever. probably one of the most adrenaline pumped thing that could’ve happened at the same time for 3 strangers!!! 😂
“If he’s scared of a little diarrhea, he’s not the one”🤣 👏
Met a guy through an extended friend group at a party back in 2011. Everyone was largely conservative while I was liberal. He got in touch and we met for dinner. He said I'd mentioned RuPaul's Drag Race at the party (season 3 had ended) and found me open minded. Then he confessed to being a closeted cross dresser. It wasn't a date, it was more him finding someone to confide in and I was OK with it. However, within days he talked about all the heavy BDSM he wanted to try with me as his mistress. I said no. He was really put out and said I wasn't nearly as open minded as I thought I was. 🤔
Well THAT took a turn. 😅😅😅
That sounds very similar to my ex-husband.
Dang, that escalated quickly.
@@OneCatShortOfCrazy There was actually a gap between proposing the mistress idea and me saying no. I was curious about what he'd want me to do. He wanted to be controlled and disciplined. Given a task and it not being to my liking. The more he talked, he had this whole set up in his head and I was to follow along. Umm, aren't I supposed to be the mistress? I tell you what to do, not the other way around?
Being a mistress entails work: giving up my time, coming up with scenes, costumes, so was he planning on compensating me to indulge his fantasies? He just had to show up and assumed the experience would be mutually satisfying. I was going to say no all along, but it was too tempting to hear the mind of someone really wanting to be in that scene. As I suspected, me asking for money killed it for him. We never spoke again.
@AlexisWilliamsinc definitely a left turn
Yes I agree, ladies stop going to cabins and on hikes for first dates 😳 ya’ll just got lucky you didn’t end up on dateline lol. The cabin one was hilarious and cute but goodness that’s scary. Also the first one I call BS on she is wearing a wedding ring.
The girl that dropped her phone & kept mentioning her dad not knowing. Totally thought the dad was going to show up and go crazy on the guy, tracking her phone to a ledge thinking the date harmed her 😂😂
The second video 😂😂😂😂😂😂🤣 that poor girl and her cabin horror story.
Awful date was with a semi pro football player who got drunk, made a scene in the restaurant because he was drunk and sobbing, and when the server asked how we would like our check (they were trying to get us out), he stopped sobbing for a moment and said “separate checks”. NEVER IN MY LIFE!!
Back in the day, the person doing the inviting did the paying. Of course, back in the day you actually knew the person inviting you.
Every great relationship has an awesome story of how u met/got together!💜
The one story about the cabin had me dying laughing because before she even got to the end I was like either he loves her for the rest of her life or he is going to hate her and never contact her again and then immediately she ended by saying she still dating him like girl that's your husband what are you talkin about he's here for life he is a 4 lifer
First video is a joke, that’s her kid and they’re a couple. Charlotte is so cute. She falls for these all the time
Charlotte has now noticed that too, in another comment thread 😂
I saw the engagement ring and thought "Yeah those two are definitely married or engaged." haha
@@raylinemueller3120 I figured the video was flipped like a lot of phone videos are, so didn't put it together as an engagement ring.
They pretty much are all jokes lol
@@hollowlunax I agree lol I'm just here for laughs
My second date with my now husband was bad. We went to a movie, we saw Suicide Squad, we were driving back to my house and my date hit the bumper of another car. No one got hurt, but his car was broken, and he lived 2 hours away.
He was embarrassed and kept apologizing, but as my parents said. "Shit happens."
We hitched his car to a trailer and drove him home.
Now we're engaged to be married.
Stranger things have happened
Tell us tell us! Congratulations btw
@@HoneyQuint Thank you
Otterbox cases are legitimately incredible in my opinion. I had one of their older hardcore cases years ago. My phone was ran over and the case was a bit cracked but the only thing on the phone was a tension crack on the corner. I was honestly shocked and amazed with everything I ended up putting that phone through and all that happened thanks to the case was a small tension scratch
“Would rather not get murdered, honestly.”
Omg, SAME!
For me when I was dating, first dates were always at Starbucks, a simple coffee, not a full dinner. It had nothing to do with money and who would pay, but if I didn't like him I didn't want to be stuck having a full dinner with someone I didn't like. I always had my own money and I drove myself to the location. Coffee dates will save you money and your precious time! 😅
Plus going on a coffee date means no one is drinking and driving. Smart call.
Tell the waiter “ I will have the rack of ribs, to go.” Separate checks.
I was in tears over the diarrhoea story … beautiful 😊
Can I just say I so appreciate his Charlotte and her editors go out of their way to post every. single. day. That takes commitment. Thank you Charlotte and crew and I love your videos! ❤❤❤
Heyy charlieeeee
Even me and my friends fight for paying the bill when we go out... Idk how people don't feel shy or embarrassed asking others to pay on their first meeting....
It's not like I'm very rich or financially very stable but it's like you gotta pay for your shit....
Don't expect others to pay it for you ...
This, I would never assume the other person will pay. Especially the first time we meet. It’s just rude
The one in the cabin was so wholesome and much like Charlotte I predicted the happy ending and I’ve never been happier being right
I definitely agree with the first date dinner advice, I always have my own money to pay for my own food and I always order how I want and what I want.. I know I’m eating good and can pay for it myself if needed at the end, it always shows their true colours and intentions when you order your food
Awww I really like the guy who got rejected…he’s such a worthwhile guy. He’s honest and not afraid to be vulnerable. I like the flow of his conversation style. He will def find the rt one!
Mine was not even a date. This was a long time ago, which means the boy had to ask dad to go out on a date with the girl. So this boy I liked decided to ask me to go out with him, his cousin and cousin's girlfriend. Unfortunately, my father had a huge argument with a boy that wanted to propose to my sister. He was furious....so we were pretty sure he was going to say no... he didn't. That was about 38 years ago. We dated for 2 and 1/2 years and got married after that...35 years and 1/2 ago. LMAO
You dated and married your dad? You probably meant to say it was the boy that asked your dad’s permission was the one you dated and married.
Me too! When someone see you puke or diarrhea, you know you will be together. It is law
16:00 I literally laughed so hard I cried and beat myself wailing like a dying seal. I haven’t laughed this hard in a MINUTE 😂😂 this video as sent me👏🏽👏🏽
I agree with the "if I don't like him ill pay for myself" but I've also had guys ask me out to dinner and offered to pay even when I made it very clear I didn't have that kind of interest, they still offered to take me as a friend. I have never been made uncomfortable by them expecting anything, but I could have just gotten lucky. If they're okay with going as just friends and offer to pay thats OK in my book. I would never expect them too, and I've always brought my purse and wallet just in case though.
The last story felt like the kind of story we girls would tell each other while drinking and lounging in house. Ending is so anti-climatic, but felt like it was complete. Like you know, justice served, balance in the universe, yada yada. Then we'd all toast to Sheldon and his torn shirt and drink another glass of wine.
Exactly 😂
I didn't hear the ending, I don't understand. He ripped his shirt or hers?
My first date with my bf of 6 years consisted of my crashing and totaling my car into a traffic sign I was sober😂
