    Thanks for the review, I doubt the 19 mm and 60 mm sizes .. both look fine, but what will be more useful for filming (and often necessary)

    So basically with the 2X and 2.3X crops you get a 36-44mm and thats ideal for a super 35mm cinematic look!

    I purchased his lens because of the form factor. The Sigma 16mm f/1.4 is large in comparison. The AF of this lens is better when using the center focus points...

    Is this good for filming ? I bought a Sony nex 3n for my CZcams videos will this give a good blurry effect ?

    Sup dude....great review thanks for the example shots! I am considering this lens for my VLOG that I just started and I read that the lens has some "rattling" have you experienced that? Do you use your rig on a tripod or are you doing handheld work with it?

    The sample footage was awesome Tomas. Though at the end, the closing part of the video when you were speaking in your office, I must say, looked a bit weird. The color temperature, yellow tint if you will. I don't like that :P Otherwise your video was perfect!

    I just purchased this lens. and it doesn't fit my sony a6000. Do you need an adapter to use this lens with the sony a6000?

      Better return it and get the correct mount.

    Hey Tomas, great video! I own a panasonic G7 and I am thinking of upgrading my kit lens, is this a good one to start with? If not, any other suggestions?

    • @TomasVillegas
      @TomasVillegas  Před 8 lety

      This is a good option, but I would recommend saving for a Metabones Speedbooster if you can and start with some Canon glass.

    is this lens for full frame or crop?

  • @AnthonyMarchese
    @AnthonyMarchese Před 9 lety

    No doubt, this is a great lens, but for video, you'll have no choice but to use a tripod. In other words, you don't shoot video walking the streets with this lens. Stills are a different story, but you'll still need a "steady" hand. This lens is awesome. Thumbs up from me! :)

      Omar Correa why would you save money for an apple watch ! it's an accessory and not a very good one anyway !
      I'm not an android fanboy, I just advice you to wait for the next gen apple watch maybe it'll get better !

  • @JoelHeslop
    @JoelHeslop Před 9 lety

    Definitely love my Sigma 19 and 30mm!
    Not sure what the differences are, but I have the slightly older EX DN versions. Still fit the same, but have a textured focus ring which is really nice(since you said that was a con)!

    • @TomasVillegas
      @TomasVillegas  Před 7 lety

      +Paul Stevenson thanks for the feedback. I'll make sure to check out your video review and take notes on how to make higher quality content. Oh wait...

    • @paulstevenson200
      @paulstevenson200 Před 7 lety

      No - check out David Thorpe and learn.
      I do not review photography gear.
      If you want some tips on "how to review" look me up on Trip Advisor under Paul S.

    • @TomasVillegas
      @TomasVillegas  Před 7 lety +1

      Look Paul, I'm not going to do reviews like David Thorpe. I'm going to do reviews like Tomas Villegas. Nothing about this video was me "blowing my own trumpet." So again, until you take a chance and make a review and put it out there for people to critique I will not be taking your advice. Thanks again for stopping in and have a great week!
