Love the blue colour ☺
Me too! Just glad it's not all blue...face plate is enough lol.
The 19khz machines are good on civil war relics ( brass and lead). A nickle is good test for those conductors.
I love these videos, and the intro. Keep up the great work Hunter. I can’t wait for your next video
Thanks Logan...I appreciate the kind words.
TheHunterGT you’re welcome Hunter
*Hello John. With the air test, you’ve got to remember as the tone fades to a faint whisper, you are using the external speaker. With headphones, that faint whisper would now be just above the whisper, thus making it a target worth digging. I had a Quick Draw Pro model that I bought at a pawn shop for a friend. After giving it a good test run, I hated to part with it. I have other higher end detectors, but this one was so light with fast target response time, decent depth and only one 9volt battery needed. It was great for its price. Great review as always. H.H. _/*
Yes for sure...but it makes for a tough review video through the headphones. 😎 I enjoyed the QDP as well...fun one to use and review.
Very cool looking machine. Reminds me alot of the Teknetics G2+ (which I love)!! Great video!👍👍
Same machine other than the new looks...they are just showing Bounty Hunter some love...which I am a fan of!
Thanks TheHunterGT, always nice to see another detector go through the unboxing and testing! Why can't all detectors have depth in inches displayed on pinpoint?
Thanks Nick! We are the only country using inches. Rest if the world uses metric system. I honestly wish we would make the switch.
Always loved Bounty Hunter. Nice review Hunter.
Thanks!
You're very thorough when you show your review. That is good.
Thanks Brent!
I used a nickle(mid-range conductor) with my F19 on the nail-board test and got 8 of 8.
Yessir....larger mass and lower conductors will hit hard on a 19khz...also a smaller stock coil.
Where can I find one of these lightly used?
I like the original screen with all the digital indicators. My first detector was a BH TR700.
The original Time Ranger was one of a kind - that is for sure.
Hey John! Any advice for what detector I should get? I'm upgrading from a teknetics eurotek pro and was wondering if you had any suggestion? Thanks and great video
Heya just saw this. You have this...the Simplex...Vanquish. All would be fairly decent upgrades form the ETP. Send me an email if you want to talk shop! thehuntergt@gmail.com
If I wasn't about to buy a new pair of glasses today, I would consider buying this detector. Even though I have enough already. 😅 Keep up the good work! 👍
Vision is important my man! Thanks for watching!
Excellent separation for the size coil!
Yes indeed. Most of the First Texas upper lineup has similar results. Good stuff for sure.
Hi John excellent review, nice machine, i want it right now
Thanks Gerald...I'm at the lake today but can get you one for sure! Email me!
Quite impressive on that gold!! Holy smokes!- This looks like a good offering by bounty hunter...Great review brother!!!
Thanks! I was happy it hit that small piece. Glad they are showing BH some love.
I’m looking for a detector that works well in pea gravel. I own six different Bounty hunter detectors and a simplex.the land ranger pro works ok in the all metal mode, but I don’t want to hear all that noise. What do you think about the time ranger pro?
TRP is a great detector. Not sure about pea gravel though...never dug in it.
Why is the land ranger more expensive then the time ranger?
Which khz would you recommend for a general purpose metal detector? Thanks hunter GT
Anywhere in the 7-15 range seems to do pretty decent as an all-rounder. This one being 19khz does suffer a bit on high conductors.
I remember them back in the day wish they kept lower freq as hotter on silver.
Does the bh 4" coil work with the Time Ranger Pro? Not shown on the Bounty Hunter site
That should be a 7.6 Khz coil which the TRP is a 19 Khz machine. So no.
What's the cost? I got my first gold (+diamond) ring on a Bounty Hunter Tracker IV
MAP price is $399
TheHunterGT great price
Unreal. Glad I didn't buy the gold bug 3 days ago, even though the price was lowered to $354. Your thoughts, John? And ground balances to salt means wet salt beach compatible?
IMO...it is a bit better than the Gold Bug Pro with the added notch - vbreak - backlight...etc. I have hit coins with it at 7-8 inches in wet-salt-sand. It will chatter here and there being single freq....but these 19khz machines from FTP handle minerals and EMI very well. I'll be using this one in upcoming videos for sure.
@@thehuntergt I don't mind the chatter. I already own a t2. I think it will do well on wet sand.
I want a 19 khz for small gold and salt beach. If it chatters a bit, I can deal with it.
Since, in your opinion, it's better than a gold bug pro, all the better. I think Bounty Hunter has a winner.
I know I can count on your detector tested facts. Thanks, John.
I also noticed through Hoover Boys Channel there's a multi frequency Garrett Apex on the market.
so, the time ranger pro or Fisher F75, what say ya'. (Love to have a Whites MXSport but whites going out of business, so..
F75 is the winner there. These 19khz can ID to fringe depth better...but beyond that the F75 wins most VS scenarios.
Copy of the Omega 8000/8500? Looks almost the same as my old Omega 8000 (with lower frequency).
Omega is 7.7khz....this is 19khz. Akin to the Gold Bug Pro.
First Texas pulls through again still waiting on a waterproof detector from them so I can say goodbye to all others.....
Should not be long hopefully. A PI then some other multifreqs would be rad
How does the bounty hunter time ranger pro compare to the Garrett at pro
It is not waterproof or as deep - but it is the better iron worker with a better ID.
Pop this on a pistol grip with a trigger pinpointer & it'd be hard to beat!
Thanks Great review. How much is it?
Thanks! MAP price is $399.
There's one for 160 at a Pawn Shop. Comes w/box. Good buy, you think?
Make sure it is the Time Ranger "Pro" and not the normal Time Ranger....if so $160 is a great deal.
@@thehuntergt I know the machines well. It's the one you have in the video. The original looks quite different.
@@VanishedPNW Indeed it does. In that case, it is a steal. Ask if you can pop a 9V battery in to test it. If it works I would grab it up.
I wonder if this means an end of production to F19 & G2+?
Not right away...but I think it for sure makes room for them to be replaced when the new stuff arrives.
@@thehuntergt WHEN will new stuff arive? Do you have any insite?
@@danluther1741 My lips are sealed sorry.
@@thehuntergt That's wrong man. It's just wrong! Lol
Do u recommend over the Land Ranger Pro?
Yes
Great review now to talk the wife into letting me get another detector she says I have way to many now!
just mite have to get rid of a few.
I actually just got busted she found my whole arsenal it wasn’t good
@@treasurehuntingnewyork5979 Yeah I got a couple stashed in my truck tool box she does not know about
LOL...you guys are cracking me up.
TheHunterGT she told me it was either her or the detectors....... so there I was packing my stuff
@@treasurehuntingnewyork5979 are you going to miss her
Can you review the g2+ or f19 with 11dd
Thanks!
It would be the exact same review. Although....IMO...the F19 has a little "something" the G2+ and this TRP do not. I think the F19 handles extreme iron situations slightly better. I think they added a little extra processing to the Fisher...being their top brand.
@@thehuntergt well crap, I loled the g2+ for the shaft/pistol grip. I'm not a fan of the Srods and unfortunately the f19 is an srod.
Thanks!
@@JonR35 I much prefer them over straight shafts like Nox/Anfibio/Simplex. To each their own of course! For myself nothing does it like the T2 and F75 as far as grip and ergo goes.
А в чём отличие по характеристикам от G2+ ??
Няма разлика. Преместиха го надолу в БиХ. Може би да направим място за нещо ново.
@@thehuntergt ясно))
Hey id like you buy one
F19 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
F19 - G2+ - Time Ranger Pro....they all have 19khz now. I think it is nice for BH to get some love.
Reminds me of my Technetics Omega 8500 in appearance.
Also I can't spell nickel!
This machine underground Dept and big old metal
I believe bounty hunter bought out fisher...they look alike now
Bounty Hunter - Fisher - Teknetics are all owned by First Texas Products and produced/engineered in the same building.
They have all been bought by Texas Growth Fund which is a 545 Million dollar company of suits that owns First Texas. First Texas is a shell company, they aren't a goody goody mom and pop company.
Hello Please compare this to the Minelab Vanquish 540 and see what happens.... Dare you
They can both do things the other can't. No comparison is needed.
