    I know of a great upcoming channel that you might want to keep a eye on. MOdigging. He uses a worn out Gold Bug Pro. He needs a handgrip bad...lol

    Thank you Russ I loved this video. Gold nugget detecting in the Sierra Nevadas how cool is that. I'm getting ready to leave Arkansas and head back to Northern California. Around the 4th of next month. Been here 16 years. But now I feel since my wife has past it's time for me to go back home and be with the rest of my family. Can't wait to get out and hit up some of the gold spots in Northern California.

      Hello Danny- I'm sorry to hear of your wife. Family is always good to be around and the fact that it's in gold country makes it even better. Good luck my friend!

    That Time Ranger Pro seems to be a very good machine Russ, I've always liked First Texas products. I even have a Bounty Hunter Marauder XV that still works!

    Can someone tell me that difference between the Fisher Gold Bug and the Bounty Hunter Time Ranger . Website information is sketchy in comparison of the two other than price. They are both First Texas machines if I’m correct.

    • @AmericanDetection
      @AmericanDetection  Před 2 lety

      They are the same save the Time Ranger Pro comes with a stock 11DD.

    I have an old Bounty Hunter quick draw 2. Are they any good? Can you give me any pros or cons? I have better equipment, just wonder if they're still worth taking out on a hunt?

    • @AmericanDetection
      @AmericanDetection  Před 2 lety +1

      The Quick Draw 2 is a very capable detector. It's a mix of analog and digital. Id say the biggest con of that detector is that the LCD screens are so small they might be difficult to see on the fly. But, if you're like me and hunt mostly by tone, it shouldn't be a problem. I think it would make a GREAT "truck detector" see this video for a description of what i mean. czcams.com/video/dPDFOqn-TnY/video.html

      @@AmericanDetection thank you for taking the time to reply. And thank you for the info. I have a thousand dollar machine I bought this past spring and to be honest I like my QD2 better than the new one I got.
