Thank you for the shots of the screen and what it is telling you. I had a Garrett about 123 years ago and just yesterday decided to pick this hobby back up. This has been the most informative video of the Time Ranger I've seen so far!
Thanks I appreciate that! Time Ranger was ahead of it's time when it was released in the 90's. A real sleeper unit that can do well when setup properly.

Very nice hunt. You gave it a good go but she smoked you. That's ok, I'm sure it's fun just getting out spending time together. I have a few old properties that I have permission to hunt. When I can get out to them I will video what I find and put it on my channel.

Last year you recommended the Quick Draw Pro to me and I really like it. I have a chance to get the Time Ranger for a fair price. Would you consider it an upgrade over the Quick Draw Pro ? I value your opinion.
Heya Frank. The QDP is quite a bit better in my opinion. Faster - deeper - better separation. The Time Ranger is a cool one, but many of the functions are funky and a bit useless. QDP all the way.

I just subscribed. I know it's way to late for ur contest , but great video nonetheless. Looks like u two have a great time hunting together. Was wondering , on that time ranger , I was thinking about getting one. Does it have good depth? My old Garrett and classic 3 actually don't do to bad around here. Was just wondering how deep that time ranger will go.
Thanks for the kind words. Was great while it lasted but we are no longer together sadly. Time ranger is fairly old technology and does not have as great of depth as newer machines obviously. There is better for the price. That being said...it does have surprising depth for it's generation of detector. I'd say 8 inches is obtainable in easy soil if setup correctly.

Grandma sent my son a Bounty Hunter Gold Digger for Christmas a few years back...we have been hooked ever since the batteries went in.

That was my first metal detector. I still have it 11 years later. It's so cheap now. It was 150-200 when I bought it but you can now buy it for 75-100 on Amazon. It's worth the money and will find treasure for you.
You know Hunter, I really thought you had it in the bag until the Huntress opened her fist to exhibit her finds. Holy smokes!! She really knows that detector.
