I was about a tenner on Amazon for them. They did arrive in one of the flimsiest boxes with a cheap plastic tray. I've left the pull-back feature in mine, for advance moves. Can't be more dangerous than my mate's dice rolls. I'll probably swap the turrets on them if I get any more...which I'm definitely considering looking at how much better you've done them.
Tenner's not bad to be fair (if It's for four). I did buy some separately first in those flimsy boxes, but then I went back for more lol
The turret swaps was just a way to mix it up a bit, dead easy. I do think, leaving the pullback running gear in, you're either very brave or play on a table with a lip 🤣👍

If any of you guys have a combat patrol and are considering this, just remember that you can take whatever spare weapons you have from your Deff Dread and slap them onto these. Also loctite sticks instantly to these tanks, so use that if you can.

Thanks!! Between forge world and the awesome looking grot stuff in Age of Sigmar, it makes me sad in 40k that we have just bloody rubbish options for a bigger goblin/grot/gretchin variety of stuff.
I know there's a few different places listed for these on the 40k Ork Facebook group too.
The official GW range for grots in 40k is a bit limited. The killa kanz are great, I like the mek gunz but they're prohibitively expensive, and the grots themselves are OK, if a bit dated, but once you have one box you're just duplicating after that.
You've got to raid AoS to keep it GW, but if you dont mind 3rd party (and I don't think you should) it opens up loads more options, especially with proxy or counts as models for normally none grot units
I just bought some of these for about 5 USD, and that includes shipping. Thanks for sharing.

Some great ideas. Thank you for sharing this. I had picked up 20 of them (5 four packs) from Amazon, since Temu only had one option. They were a $1-$2 more, but still a great price. I think I should have gotten some of the camo pattern ones as well. I hadn't thought of what I was going to do with them and you gave me a lot of ideas. Looking at your first tank in the outro, I think I want to add license plates to my tanks.

Lots of people on Facebook picking up these little 1:64s - I made mine from a 4 quid box of plastic construction vehicles from Asda and some rubbish 😝
Yeah, I've seen quite a lot of them knocking about on facebook etc. People saying they were ready to use, which they basically are to be fair. But I've had mine for about 4 months now, so I thought it was about time to get them done and hopefully give a few ideas on how to make them even more Grotty 😁👍

£85 for x4 Grot Tanks, mental. They were £60 two years ago.
Solid conversions, full of character & details like orky/grotty builds should be. Perfect.
Solder is a great crafting material, especially considering how malleable it is.
The barrel converted into a miniature roller is genius
Looking forward to you adding a few licks of paint to spruce them up even further.

I really like your plasticard sponsons, now I'm imagining a power armored ork with those mounted on their shoulders. I'm actually curious what you would build for a mostly plasticard scratch built set or Ork power armor that's only maybe 20% at most parts from your bit's box.

So nice that these tanks come with free wheels and cogs for further conversions! Your finished tanks look awesome, but I think my favorite is far and away the Tiny Russ.
6:00 The green tank is a Sherman Firefly. They had to make some proppa orky modifications to fit the larger cannon into the same turret. The grey is a french Somua, I believe. You were spot-on with the KV-2.

Definitely just gonna 3d print as I'm a lazy bad moon 😅 kromlech can get into the sun imo, plenty of other models look just as good and don't cost *more* than GW for models you may not even be able to use in many places

these are cheap rip offs of the MENG world war toon models, right? Or at least that's what I gather from looking up mine (and a reminder to get on with the other three....)
I think so, got one of the official kits in my room. Need to build it sometime.
I've had a couple of the meng Toon Tanks, they are bigger than these (imo too big for grot tanks).
The official scale for grot tanks is 50mm cubed, plus a bit for sticky out gubbins, and these little fellas fit perfectly (toon tanks are about 90mm long)
Where did you get the bolt bits ?
The actual nuts and bolts are from Meng. You can get them online, I got mi e from Amazon (Meng Nuts and Bolts Set A Large) 👍
