You buy a gun to get a gun. You get a gun to shoot something. It never implied that gunmakers are not a viable target. Ork logic is simply but undisputed.

One of the best things about 40k is having golden demigods looking resplendent...only for an Ork missile to corkscrew through the sky and blast the hell out of these elite warriors completely by accident. Orks are the heart of the "Hahaha! ____ goes brrrrrrr" meme.
Your lore videos have vicariously helped a lot of kids. My friend is a social worker for troubled kids, and she's also been the victim to many of my lore rants. She recently told me of a kid at her hospital who wouldn't talk to any of the staff or social workers until she recognized some of his 'little plastic guys'. She basically said, "Hey, these are Raven Guard, their main guy is Raven-Raven, right?".
After that, she said he wouldn't stop talking to her -mostly about 40k, his favorite characters, and why it's great. She eventually was able to connect with this patient and understand how to help him thanks to 40k lore. Since then, she's told me that a lot of tough cases turn out to have an interest in 40k, fantasy, or other grimdark fictions. She's come to me a few times asking me to explain stuff, too, and it's apparently a way to get patients to frame their problems or to approach things from a "what would so and so do in your situation?".

As an old veteran Ork player I've always viewed Ork weapon statlines as an "Average" instead of what the weapon is... Unlike other races where their weapons are standardized.
I always feel Luetin has the most fun when covering Orks. I may be wrong but his Ork vids always feel different to others
I get the same feeling. Makes sense as far as I am concerned, because, after all, Orks are the best-suited species for this grimdark universe- there is never a shortage of ennemies or war and the greenskin revel in it. Factor in their silliness and it's a welcome change !
Orks are probably the most interesting and joyus of all the fantasy races... You almost can't avoid feeling the draw of the waaaagh!

Orks - the only race in the WH40K universe one wouldn't regret to become. They are always having a good day no matter what.
Yep. You can get out off your fungus, pick up a stick, smash some ork with it, grab his shoota and be content.
Unless the inquisition gets you. Solitary confinement sans combat for an ork...it's like directly starving a human.

Its 1 55 am in India, had a intense day at the office, followed by a more intense gym session... now will enjoy a lore video while eating dinner.
Considering the relatively slow pace that the Tyranids move through space, and the Orks' effectively limitless capacity to generate biomass, my prediction is that the end of history will be the Tyranids eating the Orks forever.
Likely the orks would win in the end. They get stronger and larger the more violence and war they experience. While the Tyrranids do evolve to fit the tactical situation, i doubt they could stand up to full on Krorks, which is what the orks would evolve into given enough time and violence.
Nope, once the Imperium removes the concept of tech heresy and they start advancing technologically they can hold back both / imagine the Tau technological progress but more aggressive and much much much bigger.
What is biomass anyways? Organic materials? There are organic materials in rocks too. How do you generate biomass? You just extract it from rocks.

@@LOL-zu1zr I try to think of it as bioavailable biomass. If you break it down enough, biomass means energy.
At a certain point, you would have to use more energy to get biomass from a rock than consuming that rock could give you back.
That's the point where tyranids would stop.
So breaking down the biomass in a rock would probably be a net-loss to them, so they won't do it.
An otherwise crappy day is turned into a CRAZY GREENSKIN FEST! Also, a pack of Boyz arrived in the mail today, which is the will of Gork and Mork. Obviously.

The warp travel aspect of the ShoKk Attack Gun reminds me of Stephen King's story 'The Jaunt'.
Reminds me of a time some Space Marine were surrounded by Orks, his gun ran out of ammo so he grabbed an Ork gun lying next to him. But as anyone expected, it didn’t fire. The clicking noise actually shocked the Orks because they were using that gun just now, so it should have fire. And just like that the gun actually fired because the Orks believed it so.
That Astartes was later executed for heresy by an Ordo Xenos inquisitor

I always hope there will be a rogue trader version of darktide, like you have different classes but then in the form of retinue members. Like an ork freebooter, eldar pathfinder/corsair, rogue trader, explorator, etc. Then having an ork in your team would be actualy lore accurate

I often wonder what the ancestral Krorks were like.
They were power armored, five meter-tall giants. The Krork were likely smart, brutal, and relentless, similar to the Brutes from the Halo franchise.

Edit. Just to be clear, I used Gudams just for the height comparison, they weren’t Ork mechas, but as said giants in Power Armour.
Wow! That's a lot larger than I thought. I can definitely see why the Necrons often call them "devolved" when fighting them in the 42nd millennium.

The Orks are having the most fun and good times in this universe and I'm all for it.
What made me love being an ORK player is how stupid most of their guns work. From the shokk attack gun teleporting grots into something to the bubble chukka destroying stuff with freaking bubbles.
