    Nice work per usual 👍. I enjoyed the reference to that “one guy” that didn’t think your welding/methods were up to standard on your previous cowl vent repair…. What a goose he was.

    A very satisfying result on the fender. And the one you cut up can also be repaired by somebody that has time and is not on the clock. The more you keep chipping away at it the better it gets. Take care all the best to you and yours.

    Did not know about the fender gap factory flaw. Very interesting. Are there many other known sheet metal flaws on the early 30's Fords?

    Hey Lee - fantastic work ! Looks like your pencil took a poop - Ha Ha. I find a full fender '32 looks bitchin low and from the front. The chop looks perfect ! Can't to see what you do next !

    A good metal shaper could make that part out of 19 gage in about an hour and save the original finder.

    • @LGKustoms
      @LGKustoms  Před 3 měsíci

      Guess I’m not a good metal shaper…

      @@LGKustoms That isn"t what i meant to say...I should have said a "well equipped metal shaper". You don't have a power hammer, Pullmax, flanger, etc. With the proper equipment a skilled metal shaper could make that patch quickly. Sorry for the poorly worded comment.

    Hey Lee,nice job! What's the plan with running boards? You have new rubber? I'm at the same point with my deuce and I've read on the hamb about gluing the rubber on with the right stuff. Any thoughts? BTW,I will be using Bob drake repro rubber for running boards,they're gonna look awesome! And the fenders make these cars look much more graceful.
