interesting logic on the pinion angle, most everyone else always makes that 3 degree point, this makes total sense to match the pinion to the motor angle!

This is great, I just tend to keep things simple with factory settings, all because I am just to lazy to do the work. But I do love viewing and learning.

Great video. I'm doing my Merc the same. I'd recommend a diagonal panhard from the front parallel to the rear opposite. It reduces the side to side radius. Of course you're probably already ahead of my comment.

Once again - very nice work and informative video. I just picked myself up a sweet and mint '35-'40 Ford frame - gonna start to working that frame into accepting a T5, 8-8.5 Diff with Parallel Leaf Springs with sway bar, open driveshaft all to accept my flathead... one day! Making slow progress on my coupe every week. Next week it's finishing the cooling system and readying it for it's second start and hopefully, no water leaks - fingers crossed!
Didn’t you just spend a bunch of time and money rebuilding your three speed?
@@LGKustoms yes I did but, that's an easy recovery. I avoided doing the T5 conversion because of the general inconvenience of having the coach on the frame vs just a frame on jacks. Once I get the car road worthy I'll winter store the car in a friends garage while I begin the work on the newly acquired frame.

Another good show Lee! You somehow make a hard job look easy. Hopefully little Lux does not have run of the shop yet, but when he does I am worried about that low hanging saw blade on the saw/ work table...got 2 great grandsons so maybe paranoid about little fellows getting hurt..

Hello Lee. First off I hope you don’t mind I was going to purchase some t shirts for my grandsons for the new season. But I’m going to direct this money to piero as I think he will need some help. Check out mad fabricators. Any way the order will still be made at the end of the month. (Did you ever sell those cortina brake pads?) I like your old trolley jack mine needs a good service.
