Loïc and Blanche were great. For me, Loïc should have won in 2015 (well, he or Latvia's Aminata). Blanche was great, but I felt she seemed too nervous on stage and her staging could have been more daring. Thoroughly enjoyed both though.

I was in the hospital for two months when Blanche represented Belgium in 2017, and I had a single room and got the nurses to cross their fingers with me while watching the ESC.

Belgium is going to win it one of these days by some freak accident with a once-in-a-lifetime gem. Its entries are quite often wildcards for victory with moody ballads as well as fun bops. So much creativity, mostly by the performing artists themselves, must eventually yield victory

2 favourites of mine : "City Lights" for its timeless quality, i could go back listening to it anytime and i would never get bored. Also "Release Me". masterpiece, instrumental excellence. appreciate the variety of genres Belgium served in the last decade tho

Belgium only won once, in 1986, and the winning song was written and performed in French. For those who don't know about the official languages in Belgium, there isn't any English at all, but curiously all the entries between 2014 and 2023 were exclusively in English.

I started watching in 2015 and I fondly remember Loïc as one of my favourites besides Måns and Aminata.
