Something that I added to my fitness program is an eating adjustment. I began intermittent fasting. Everyday since July 2023 I've used the 16 hour fast with the 8 hour window, No eating for me beyond 7 Pm, then at 11:00 Am the next day I am able to eat what I want over those 8 hours. I had 25 lbs to drop, and now there are 11 pounds to go. I am used the 16/8 schedule and everyone can set their own hours
I was born with cerebral palsy and use a wheelchair, and look very similar to you physically. I've been very discouraged over the years reading comments from ignorant people trying to ethically justify how we shouldn't be born, that we're "unhealthy" even with our activity and range of motion, and how we're inadvertently exempt from social milestones - essentially, that our journey is invalid. But as the cliche goes, seeing you gives me hope. The way you've worked to implement a solid, consistent workout inspires me to maintain that myself. Hope you're doing well and staying strong!

I’m so glad I found this channel!!! I’m not fully in a wheelchair because I can walk some distance with a walker but it’s not enough to keep me in shape because my feet just ache so bad so I’m really happy to find stuff that I can do without wondering “am I actually tired or am I just in pain” and now with these I will be able to stay healthier thank you so much!

Thank you , I'm an incomplete quadruplegic and enjoyed doing these, ok not that good but can manage10 seconds of each. Something to aim for to get to 15 seconds. Challenging myself to beat you on at least one of these. Thanks again.

Hi Ben so glad I found this video. I am 74 and not in a wheelchair but very limited mobility and waiting for double hip replacement. I do exercises for my hips but find aerobic exercise so difficult. This fits the bill exactly love it...

U are a true inspiration because u still stay in shape despite being in a wheelchair and u don’t make excuses but u give everything u have to exercise and no one doesn’t have the excuse to say that it can’t be done because if u can do it then I and everyone else can do it too!

I love this. I've been looking for a good workout like this. my dad runs similar classes for able bodied and find this amazing. combining this with my adaption of taekwondo (I teach myself) is amazing

I have been using wheelchair workouts since I was a teen. I am not in a wheelchair but it really helps when you are not in the mood to stand or have a injury. Right now my ankle is sprained so this works!!!

What a great work out I've put on weight since having to use a wheelchair for my back injuries and thought all was lost for me to lose any weight. Ive now subscribed to your work out page and will attempt to try and do a workout at least once a day as long as im not in to much pain. So thank you so much for giving me hope.

Just found your video here and I kept up with you and it was definitely a challenge but a good challenge, I’ve been waiting to get in home therapy but no calls yet so I decided to look up CZcams videos and found yours, will definitely be using it as my workouts for now on because I’m not letting my disability (spina bifida) take control of me anymore, thanks for being an inspiration!

I'm also c5-6 but incomplete. Plus I'm training 5 times a week. But you gotta do the what you can do. Maybe try with wrist weights next time? At least for as long as you can then take them off and go again

I have ruptured intestines, chronic tendinitis, crippling arthritis. I have 3 walkers, 3 types of canes. The only thing I can do now is upper body ecercise . We can all pray for each other.

Hey Ben I love the workout. Just the right amount of challenge and sweat! I have cp and think that sometimes other trainers make workouts to easy for us! I have a standing bag so Im going to try the boxing HIT workout tomorrow. To questions: what interval trainer app do you use and where did you get you active hand grips? my workout gloves are shabby and could use an upgrade. Thanks!

how do you stop from sliding around in your chair?
I don't know if you have the same issue but I keep sliding forward and get an ached back even though I strap myself in
How well fitted are you in your chair? I almost obsessive over my seating position. the cushion is angled upwards towards my knees so i don't move forwards and i have about a millimeter either side of my hips. this way I know i'm sat correct 99% of the time as I don't move. Hope this helps :)
