My dad was a Dire Straits fan. My mom loves Emmylou Harris. This happened.
I can't explain why, but this is one of my favorite songs of all time. And, I've been on this planet for 73 years. So "all time" is quite a lengthy period.
I saw their concert in Barcelona. I went because I love Mark Knopfler's music. But when Emmylou started singing I realized who the legend is. In live she is different, you feel different and you stay hooked on the song until she finishes. Does anyone else agree with me?

Emmylou literally glows in this performance. In my opinion, she and Mark Knopfler are stars of equal magnitude.

I remember this song always playing in my grandparents car on a CD when I was out driving somewhere with them. Granddad would hum along to the sound, and my grandmom would sing along quietly. They have lived a long and busy life and song is just perfect. Its beautiful and reminds me of many great times and memories.
I'm a grandmom. I always sung this song in my car with my children and later in time with my grandchildren.. I migrated to France but taught them all how to sing along on long haul road trips.
The whole album is a miracle. These two together take your breath away.
