Amazing! Mark Knopfler playing with a pick instead of his usual claw hammer finger picking. You hardly ever see him using one, but now that I do it makes sense with this songs sound; the ringing. Mark also going down on the tremolo bar, which doesn't fit with claw hammer. The man can do anything. And makes it look so easy ('cause to him it is). We listened to Kill to Get Crimson endlessly on repeat in the car driving to vacation in France with the kids (finally ;) sleeping in the back... #magic

Mark was my husband's favorite musician. He had all his discography. I had the opportunity to accompany him when he was in Argentina and Uruguay. He passed away in 2009 and every time I listen to Mark, I remember my husband. Even when my child was little, Uncle Mark would tell her, because her father made her listen to her music and was already known to her as an uncle.
