I like my fox shocks a lot & I also like walker evans, but I've never ridden on elka or king shocks to be able to compare them.

Thats bullshit i bought stage 4 rears and stage 3 fronts for my ski doo and i got 2 of the small decals that u got like 30 of lol wtf elka im calling those fucks!!! And ya elkas are badass i love them ...super expensive but worth it.
Raptors are even a little better but im only aware of them for ski doos not sure if they do quads but most likely.

So I'm looking at getting a set of Elkas for my Outlander, like you I need to keep my clearance as well for big mud tires. Should I tell them I weigh about 50 pounds more than I really do so they will come with the right amount of preload already?
Nah just tell them your tires size and weight. Type of riding ya do also. Very good shocks

I was looking in to Elka shocks for my ATV. They make awesome products, but holy smokes they ain’t cheap.
More than $1K if memory serves.
A little rich for my blood at this point - but maybe sometime down the line...
Look up the price of Fox and you won't think so. LOL
Chris E. I swapped springs on my 18 850 xmr because of the cost of the elka shocks... $80 per spring from my dealer and rides like a dream

Absolutely, if I had the 💰 to put into my build. It's definitely a luxury add on though, the Fox is adequate for the machine but not as smooth riding as my Elka.
What made you choose between stage 3 and stage 4?
Elka, they talked me out of 4's. The 3's we more then enough to get the disired affect. They were right. Great folks.
Hooked you up with serious stickers. I buy a bunch of protaper and not a single decal

WOW, you adjusted those rear preloads a ton! They must've felt pretty stiff when you jumped on??? and were you able to adjust them enough to soften them up? or do you need to manipulate the exhaust a bit?
HOLY CRAP! I've never seen anyone torque lug nuts so fast! LMAO!
Quaddingsous in general preload is for ride height and rider weight, heavy rider, more preload, or just to adjust ride height, they shouldn't affect the ride quality all that much unless you really really crank them down. And then the way the shocks reacts is setup with the high speed/ low speed compression and rebound knobs and of course valving, the stage 3s have low speed adjustment only but thats really all you need for these big bikes, i'm sure hes gonna love them!

Sweet adjustment collar 👌🏽 man I hate having heat near my reservoir... them bitches are already under enough pressure... it would be oho so nice if the reservoir neck was “swing-able” so that could be rotated out of the way 👌🏽 elka & king are in a different league than stockers 👍🏽

That socks there gone. I got a 14 XMR with the faulty fox air ride Can Am won't fix it anymore and I can't drop 2gs on new shocks so I have a sick quad I can't ride.....
