      Yes, I love the sidearm. I live in a open carry state and do this often as well as conceal carry under certain circumstances. Always remember: A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed. No matter what anyone says, this is in the Civil Bill of Rights which applies to the individual People. Carry and carry often, I say! It is YOUR Right.

If you ordered now you would get your shocks about that time as well (first of the year 2021). Elka has hired more people and are upping production to try and keep up with demand world wide. No video but have explained several times on our social media, I know I need to do a video, but the difference is every thing, elka only makes stage 3-5 in most cases, we do all 5
      We have modified extended and compressed lengths to max the potential of the vehicle we build for.
      We have a custom 2 stage high/low speed valving design in all 5 stages to offer stage 5 level performance across the board. Along with Elka's epic shock quality and legendary rage pedigree, you get a shock package totally transforms the vehicle they are installed in.

    Originally buyed at the dealer, the uforce is way to low for huntin purposes to get through the woods - i would need between 10-20 cm more space below the machine. Are these suspensions able to lift the uforce that much?

      Chucking the "barely adequate" stock shocks, any aftermarket will be a big improvement. Most will depend on your use, if you are mostly roads and drags, you could just get new springs and up for the added weight, but if you are really using the suspension a set of Elka Legacy shocks will be a MASSIVE upgrade over stock and the best bang for buck.

      @Searchin4tone Před 3 lety +2

      I have a Brute force and I've been researching these different stages. The stage 1 is a big upgrade but to me the stage 2 with the rebound adjustment is what's important. When you adjust your pre-load ,having the ability to compensate with rebound adjustments will keep your shock balanced. Hit the whoops /rocky uneven terrain without bucking off and losing control.
      To answer your question, the stage1 is a custom shock for you. Your weight, what you have on the quad gear wise etc. Brute shocks are horrible. The stage 1 will be an improvement over stock shocks.

    What is the best adjustment to play with...? Is it preferable to play with your rebound or compression?

      Yes... Lol. Sorry, there lies in the preference of what you wish to do. If you want to control additude thats rebound. If you want to play with stiffer or softer for verying load weights that is compression. If you want both that's stage 4 or 5s

      @HesterEdition  Před rokem +1

      As far as OEM fox's, depends on what vehicle you have, but YES, a vast majority of vehicles the Elka will be built to out perform the stock Fox shocks. Now... If you BUY custom built Fox's, that is a whole other matter as Fox builds great suspension, BUT for OEM, they have to listen to the manufacture and meet their price they will pay, therefor hardly any STOCK Fox shock that come on a vehicle is built right, mediocre at best. Upgrading the shocks is the BIGGEST upgrade you can ever do on a vehicle. And we sell massive upgrades for just about every major manufacture of ATV/SXS, and Trucks and Jeeps. Just give us a call and let us help TOTALLY change your ride.

      name of the game in powersports. Top notch suspension can get pricey, but offer the biggest gains and bang for buck than anything else on the machine. In many cases, cost LESS that a set of wheels and tires, and gain you worlds more!

    • @HesterEdition
      @HesterEdition  Před 4 měsíci +1

      Compare to oem crappy shocks, yes very. Most oem shocks are 4-600 a piece for lower end vehicles, and on high performance 2500+ each, ours are much better priced, unless you are trying to price stage 5s vs stock on let's say a Kawasaki Mule or Honda Pioneer, then yes we cost more, but are a whole new universe better built. Dollar for dollar, we can beat oem, provide a world better ride and performance and are fully rebuildable, not cheap, over priced oems. What vehicle do you have and I am happy to prove that to you.

    Would I be correct in stating that the Elka Legacy Plus is somewhere between Stage 3 & 4? A Stage 3.5? It has low-speed compression and rebound adjustment but no high-speed compression. I just bought a set because the Stage 4's were a bit out of my price range.

    • @HesterEdition

      Legacy line of sport quad shocks is more budget friendly, you get all the bang of stage 4's, but with steel bodies to lower the cost to less then a stage 3! always a good call for the best bang for buck shock set up!

      We show the difference in stages extremely clear, show you the clickers and what stage add. That IS the difference in stages. The shock bodies and specs do not change, the stage is your preference on how much personal tuneability you want on the shocks. What else would you like me to show?

      @@TrainWreck000 stage has nothing to do with springs, the vehicle applications does, some vehicles will have dual rates, some vehicles do not, the springs have nothing to do with stage. Stage 1 pre-load only, stage 2 pre-load and rebound clicker, stage 3 rebound Removed and reservoir added with low speed compression, stage 4 adds rebound back on, stage 5 splits the dual stage valving for independent high speed and low speed adjustability, just like clearly shown and stated in the video, it is that simple in stage selection, not over comicated. Specific vehicles will only have certain size bodies and spring configuration and only higher stages, like pure sport high performance will only have stage 5s. But when stage selection is available it really is that plain and simple on selection based Your wants on personal tuneability and features you want on it. As show on the table, a stage 1 and stage 5 IS the same shock, you clearly gain the added features. No need to over complicate explanation when it really is that cut and dry.
