I just watched you reacting to the Two Ronnies sketch about the Ministry for Sexual Equality which parodied some of the gender neutralising of names. Ronnie joked about 'personholes' rather than 'manholes and here's Billy saying that they are now indeed ;personholes', woah.

As a huge Billy Connolly fan I’m enjoying your reactions to his material, and I can understand your difficulty in understanding the Glaswegian accent when it becomes very broad - I’m Scottish (from Edinburgh) and even I struggle sometimes!

It’s so true what Billy Connolly saying about the politically correct mob. Yes they have spoiled it for everybody. I used to love the classic comedies. Timeless. Some of Billy comedy l find a bit off. That’s my opinion.

The extremes (like of anything) of Political Correctness can be nerve-jangling and blood-boiling - especially to old gits like me! However, why do women need different titles to indicate their marital status? I have no problem with using Ms as that just levels the playing field. The reversing noises (and also 'vehicle is turning left' squawks), however, do irritate me a little as in my many years of life I have become sufficiently sagacious to recognise when a vehicle is reversing!
Yes!! Back in the day! You cant change a generation taught a certain way, and absolutely, get over yourself its not deliberate if we say the now sensitive words we were told were normal then. Nor should everyone be treading on egg shells in a conversation.
Unless they make what i say illegal i will always say what i want and if anyone has a problem with it i would advise you get some sort of councelling to help you deal with your problem.
Dude im 62 traveld around, and i find it helpfull if i dont know something to ask, do you mind if i cale you guy, or a poof, that kind of thing, lol na im jokeing, just be normal, talk like you normaly do, and if people say dont call me little person then ask what do i call you, thank them for the information and move on.
