I am going to recommend a couple of biographies, "The Rommel Papers" Erwin Rommel's war diary, he was the commander of the 7th panzer division " ghost division" referenced in this song, the Rommel Papers is only 1/3 of the total, the other 2/3s of the war diary was list and or destroyed, the other book is " Tigers in the Mud" another biography by Otto Carius. Both biographies tell the second world war from the German tankers perspective.

I saw Sabaton live in 2006. I went to a Lordi koncert and Sabaton was the starting band, been hooked ever since. Lordi is a finnish heavy rock/metal band, also good but hm... i don't know if you would agree xD they're funny, but sing of monsters and demons e.t.c

You mentioned awhile ago that you wanted to listen to Sabaton's albums in release order, so I just wanted to tell you that Attero Dominatus came out after Primo Victoria, and then The Art of War after Attero Dominatus. Metalizer actually came out before The Art of War, but we don't count that one.

As always, great reaction! I have seen them live twice, and both times were fantastic. I am proud to be part of the Sabaton army, regardless of language or ethnicity. We are united as one, and there is nothing better.

For a treat, watch a video of Hellfest 2019. Sabaton had already played, but the headliner dropped out, and Sabaton played instead. Joakim lost his voice after two songs, and thus the two guitarists -- Tommy and Chris == took turns singing, having to read the lyrics off sheets of paper. It's a great example of "the show must go on."
Ooouuuu that sounds like a great request, added to the list! I'm shocked he lost his voice though, I thought he'd be used to doing long concerts.

@@cloudedreactions2578 Yes, and I meant to write that this is a great concert to watch. Sometime when you get a moment, there's also a Sabaton Concert in Houston TX 10/1/22 shows a smaller venue, with the short into film clip about American Dough Boys entering the WW1 in 1918, and the war ending that year. At 1:20, the narrator says "American resolve had stopped the killing." It's incredible to see a crowd of metal fans cheering American Dough Boys at the same time the film shows people in 1918 cheering, looking into the camera's eye, as if past and present citizens are looking at each other to celebrate. For those of us who remember the division during VietNam, this was a very cool experience.
Swedes singing about a nazi German tank division......in Poland! and all the 6-700k poles are singing in unison......mmm,my kinda shit right there.
That is so crazy! Only in today's time can a Swedish musician (or band) play music praising Germany's division in a 3rd party country! It's times like these that most take for granted smh

ok...., might i actually recommend you do this...... go to the Sabaton History Channel when you do a reaction to their songs because they actually do the history behind, well, pretty much each song and you can learn alot about what they sing about
I do every history video after each song, I'm sort of a history nut :p sadly my brain has failed me so much its hard to remember details of each battle but I'm always eager to learn!!
