  • In this video watch as the Ductless Plus team installs a 4 zone Mitsubishi Hyper Heat Mini Split System with a 5 port Branch Box. Our Customer was not happy with a Mr. Cool heat pump that he had installed and hired Ductless Plus to put in the new system and be sure to watch the customer Testimonial at the end of the video. When it matters people choose Mitsubishi Heat Pump Systems because they are the best in the industry and something that will last for years.

    What do you do when you have a bedroom and a small bathroom off the bedroom? Does the small bathroom need its own unit?

    • @ductlessplushvac
      @ductlessplushvac  Před měsícem +1

      You will not need one in the bathroom just leave the door open and the bathroom will be completely warm or conditioned

      @@ductlessplushvac Does that mean if you're in the bathroom for a while during the cold winter days or hot summer days that you'll be uncomfortable or the residual will be enough?

    When you install a cassette from below (without attic access), how do you insulate around the cassette/opening to prevent it from being a giant air & heat leak in the winter?

    • @ductlessplushvac
      @ductlessplushvac  Před 11 měsíci +1

      They don't leak air they seal up from the panels.

      Do you insulate around the cassette -- i.e. between the cassette and the blocking? Not necessarily for air leaking, but for R-value.

    I've been watching all you do, I will pay more for mitsubishi, the question I have is can I mix the ceiling cassettes with the bedrooms being one way venting and the living room with the four way venting?

    How do you deal with bathrooms or small utility rooms?

    • @ductlessplushvac
      @ductlessplushvac  Před rokem +1

      There is other ways to condition a bathroom that's way less expensive!

    • @Factory400

      @ductlessplushvac To clarify...
      if the whole house was being fitted with a multi-zone mini split - how do you get air flow in the smaller rooms that dont have an air handler?

    • @ductlessplushvac
      @ductlessplushvac  Před rokem +1

      @@Factory400 common spaces are going to be fine. We never install a system for a bathroom or hallways unless they are bigger and require a system, If the home is comfortable the small areas aren't going to be night and day different they all seem to be about the same temps. Bathrooms should have an exhaust vent in them that draws air in from the common areas and you can heat them with baseboards, heated tile floors, or a hundred different ways. However, you're never in a bathroom for an extended amount of time. If you're in the shower the bath gets warm from the water running (steaming)

    I don't live where you install, unfortunately! Can I DIY this system?

    • @ductlessplushvac
      @ductlessplushvac  Před rokem

      If you feel confident sure. Keep in mind this system has a ton of working parts. You also will need a lot of specialized tools just for HVAC to do this work and EPA certification to open refrigerant systems. Also you will need to learn DSB program from Mitsubishi
