Still testing a few more types of ammo in my tikka T1X. The scope is a vortex diamondback tactical and the suppressor is a dead air mask.

Interesting. Good idea for your target ! It beats shuffling papers on the dining room table

I don't remember where that stuff came from but I've had a roll of it for several years and I'm getting down to the last of it. I need to find a new solution or I'll be back to shooting the targets you buy in packs of 10. Maybe butcher paper???
A guy at the range once told me it was wrapping paper for shipping. It's much thicker than christmas wraping paper so maybe he was right.

Norma should be good. It's made by RWS. The Aquila (Aguila is spanish for Eagle) standard velocity is also good. Their primar tech was developed with Eley. The Europeans are way ahead of us in technology for making accurate rimfire ammo.

I think you're right about the rimfire in europe being a little more advanced. Some of their rimfire ammo is outstanding!

Good info, I just installed a Acculite barrel on my 10/22. Winchester Wildcat, CCI SV and Minimags shoot well in it. CCI green tag was terrible. Federal automatch is so so, but excellent for the price. I will have to try that Norma Tac22. Aguila, Armscore, and remington were all mediocre for me.

I can actually help you a lot more with 10/22s than bolt guns. This is my first bolt gun for target shooting. I built target 10/22s before I started building ARs and I built them for 50m benchrest. You're really gonna have to play with the cycling on low velocity ammo. WOLF always shot good for me and youre gonna have to play with tension on the Vblock of your barrel and the action screws. If your barrel is threaded I would definitely consider a tuner. I guess it has to do with barrel harmonics but there are a ton of things to consider on a 10/22 and when you find the sweet spot you'll shoot circles around bolt gun guys. LOL Hope I don't catch hell for that statement but I feel like it's easy to keep your cheek rest, trigger pull, and front rest placement if you don't have to work a bolt.

@Philip Corley Thanks for the info. Wolf has been like finding hens teeth around here. I'm picking my Christensen Arms Ranger up from the FFL today from being returned for repair (typical extraction issues). I was a little surprised that it did not shoot much better than my 10/22. I'm just getting into shooting the 22lr rifles and playing around by building some lighter weight hunting rifles. Will eventually build a more dedication bench rifle.
