Looks like everything but the blackheads were removed.
No
😮
Right??
Those are sebaceous fillaments not blackheads. You can clean them, not remove them, with sulfur. Blackheads with salicid acid
@@cassie.minimalist so to clean my black heads I need them to be surgically removed?
Being an aesthetician, I know I’m supposed to agree with you 100% but damn poor strips are satisfying to watch
I do the same thing with pressure and the ends or my finger nails. Like popping a zit but x 500
😂
Not to be rude but I think it's "pore strips" not poor strips sorry
Yup....strip ANY day
@@MeredithSchmidt-li9kjthey said they knew. They clearly didn’t
Trust me I have been using BHA AHA, it doesn’t help to remove this thing. U need to use the nose stripes to remove all the clogged pores and then apply BHA AHA.
Not true. I’m a licensed Esthetician with 40 years experience 😊
What did your dermatologist tell you to use?
Its depends on what do you have on your nose, if its sibacious filaments thn you should use oil based products like oil based cleanser and retinol serums, if they are blackholes then you use BHA. But trust me sebacious filaments cant be removed permanently, it takes months if regular cleaning to minimize them a bit they will show up again.
What are the best pore strips I want to do this
@@jenniferd264So? I think this person knows their better than you do, considering you haven’t even _seen_ them.
Please explain it like youre talking to an elementary student 😭 im trying to enhance my skin care routine but i don’t understand.
Dead skin and skin oil, build up in pores, no good
Salicylic acid, help clean out pores, very good.
Helps with Sebaceous filaments(look like black heads) help with anything yucky
@@fishblub5443
LMAOOOO THATS AWESOME
@@jillybrownie2390 lol thank you💖
He ripped off his epididymis on his nose with one, your epididymis is the skin layer you actually see.

I used to use these all the time as a teenager haha, my friends and I would have sleepovers and would have pore strips on our noses while gossiping 😂 good times
Me too. And I’m a guy
You had a good life ❤
Typically you'll want to open the pores with steam or a hot wet rag to prevent damage and so also the pore strip pulls out the sebaceous filaments and blackheads
I’ve been washing my face with salicylic acid for two years and my blackheads are exactly the same. The only way I can get rid of this shit is if I do facial where they are extracted physically by hand. And it lasts a month and gets all filled up with junk right up like I went into mines and didn’t wash my face for a decade. But good for y’all who benefit from it.
Witch hazel is amazing. Not harsh / smells yucky but on plus side, skin tightens up from using it
Thats what i use. Its gentle and the price isnt ridiculous. Love the smell!
I’m about to invest! Thank you ma’am
How to apply
I just exfoliate my face every day with soap and a wash cloth. Works for me!
You have a different skin type darling, be happy. That doesn't work for everyone..... I'm an Esthetician, I'm sure if you laid on my table I'd see dehydrated unhappy skin.
@@lirosespurposefullove5422 Если использовать после очищения увлажнение, разве это не помогает?
That was a good pore strip!
I'm very pake with sensitive skin and ended up with permanent broken capillaries on the sides of my nose
I’m allergic to benzoyl peroxide and Salicylic acid does not work for me! When ever I try a salicylic acid face wash my face gets worse and more oily than before!
This could be very dry or mixed skin! The skin is oiling extra hard after washing to replenish the normal barrier with the natural oil. Try a more gentle wash for sensitive/mixed skin and maybe only a salicylic toner after washing for the problematic zones (maybe nose, chin, wherever the bigger pores are and where you find zits and blackheads). You need to moisturize really well afterwards! Also most people wash too often or too harsh. Some find it enough to wash in the evenings after removing the make up and in the morning only clear water and then moisturize again. There is so much stuff floating around but not everybody needs everything and to research the main ingredients to see which could help your skin type can really save you lots of trials and money. I speak from experience 😢
My skin loves pore strips. Just don’t go crazy and remove it slowly.
Mix green gram powder with water and make a watery paste. Apply it on nose and face, keep for 5 minutes and then wash. Do this repeatedly for a week. Skin will be clear. Don't go for chemicals based or the one showed here.
Pharmacist here, THANK YOU for mentioning that retinoids shouldn’t be used during pregnancy 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼
Im pregnant and if i hadnt watched this now i wouldve continued using topical retinol like multiple times a week! Ive only used it twice by now but will defs stop
Also, if you’re going to use this, if you pull up on one side, you need to pull up on the other side, the same direction not go in one swipe
Surely it wouldn't be in the same direction? *One swipe* would be in the same direction.
Meaning up away from the face and not to the side
I prefer pore strips but ones that actually work and pull stuff out then I'll either leave it as is with just the pore strip or i might do a sheet mask or put on serum, i only do skin care when im not lazy but it works for me, im currently heavily pregnant so i cant even be bothered getting out of bed 😂
Acne videos should always start like this so there would be cleaner skin and less stabbing with a needle and eliminate some squeezing.
I love ❤️ the strips pulling out the bits
It would be good to see the cosmetically, go back and empty the blackheads that are left behind
Help! Please tell us what to use for large pores!!!
Does SA cleansers work for perioral dermatitis/potential rosacea? I have one of these on my face and I'm nervous a SA wash would make it worse.
I wonder this too and feel like it would make it worse because it stings so bad
My mom had inflammation/rosacea and chemo cleared it up, so when it came back they gave her antibiotics. sometimes a course of antibiotics can help, if you can ask your doc it might be worth it.
I found that a cleansing balm helps with dissolving sebaceous filaments.

I had the same reaction you did when I tried a pore strip for the first time [many years ago]! I wish it had a satisfying result for me, but just happy the damage from it wasn't permanent :).
I'm 35, and have never used shaving cream, facial cleanser, strips, after shave, etc...just cold water/ivory soap and rubbing alcohol when I'm done shaving, haven't had zits since highschool
You probably got good skin genetic. Most people aren't as lucky.
Literally the worst ingredients you can use on your face. Wow. your poor skin barrier, but hey whatever works for you
@@duchess_of_petty9323grease on skin would disagree
rubbing alcohol is not good for skin you're lucky your skin barrier hasn't been shredded yet
I use rubbing alcohol too. I have such oily skin, it's the only thing that helps cut the grease and doesn't make my face itch
Love pore strips 😂😂😂😂
Most of that is sebaceous filaments. They'll come right back. They're all not comedones.a retinoid can help with that.
Uh oh I just got some retinol stuff but I might be pregnant. Should I stop using it until I find out if I am or not?? Thank you for your videos always. They help me a lot
Stop using it until you find out!!! It can cause really severe birth defects!!! Accutane, the oral form of isotretinoin, is basically a much more active form of the molecule, but it’s a lot easier to research the side effects of, especially just search up “iPledge”. The US has a whole mandatory government program for everyone who is capable of getting pregnant and is on accutane.
Retinols, retinals, retinoic acids, etc. can all be absorbed through the skin and into the bloodstream. If you find out that you’re pregnant make sure to get to an OBGYN ASAP on the off chance that something might have happened!
With just the topical forms of retinols, the risk of defects or complications is sooo much lower than with the oral form, but it’s still something that should be mentioned to a doc at the soonest appointment you can manage!
I'm not a doctor, but it's probably better to wait and ask your Healthcare provider just in case because retinol is not for use in pregnancy
Yeah I'm glad he brought this up as when I was pregnant with my 9 yr old I was super young so I didn't use retinol but now I do and am trying to conceive
Definitely no retinol when pregnant. It used to be prescription only and they made you sign an agreement you would not use during pregnancy or trying to get pregnant.
I do not like that kind of treatment on my nose. Those holes will catch more bacteria
I use a salicylic acid cleanser and a retinoid and rarely wear makeup why can’t I get rid of my blackheads? Will they always be there to some degree?
Am I doing something wrong? I can never get anything to pull out, w/ pore strips. I wet my nose, wet down the strip, let it dry all the way, pull &, nothing! Then I need to wash off the residue, left over.
your not supposed to wet the strip, just your nose.
Wash your face with soap and warm water first then rinse. Do not wet the strip. Make sure you press firmly when applying the strip.
Try Lanbena cream. Works better thsn pore strips
wet your nose not your strip m wait adequate amount. (will ne written int he outer packs)
m pull slowly
Cold cream made with castor oil is the best
Try to use L'Oreal Paris Glycolic bright Day and night Cream and avoid using products that contains mercury.
I think these kinds of things, even wax for hair removal continually pull oing n the skin causes wrinkling early.
Easy fix: use rubber facial exfoliator with soap! Use it every day
Where do you find them? Is there a brand name?
Makes my skin crawl to watch this. I’m a nurse and I can easily handle vomit, blood, poop, urine-no problem. But zits and snot make me wretch.
They're really not very effective but quite damaging and drying. Can cause peeling to begin a few days afterwards.
To add to the good list the doctor gave - I find glycolic acid very effective (no more often than twice a week, and with plenty of moisturizer), and for blackheads specifically, onion juice does wonders. Just a slice of onion rubbed gently over clean skin at bedtime; wash off in the morning. It can take a day or two to see results but it's cheap and effective. Obviously don't try it if you're allergic to onion or garlic.
I get a full face wax maybe once a month and it’s like doing this to my whole face, it makes my base makeup look smoother too
Friendly reminder to not substitute a doctor's appointment with CZcams videos and comment sections!!❤
Is it okay to use salicylic acid cleanser everyday?
Witch hazel is the best way to keep skin clear.
Apply with large cotton balls.
Can you tell me where can I get witch hazel please?
Walmart, Walgreens, CVS, Amazon
@@edieshierant7728 Thanks
You scrub it or how to apply it
Amen!! 🙏
The salicylic acid csrub I got worked so GOOD OMG. like obviously it didn't remove them immediately because it's long term but it loosened them rlly well and the second week I used it I removed three. None of the other scrubs I used did thattt
Can you use retinol on only certain areas of the face? Or do you have to apply to the entire face
I never heard someone saying that a pore stripe did damage on the skin
Since I started using organic shea butter on my face before I put on makeup..I haven’t had anything on my biore strips….
I was really disappointed..
I love the satisfaction. Lol
I want the link for that strip
Just go outside
Yes, but you CAN use them once a month. Never too often!
Those charcoal strips literally tore my skin color off my nose 😭
Seems to work very well
"Be very careful "
While me, holds my breath...... take a deep breath.... pull out as fast as possible 😅
Me who watching a lot of hoof trimming videos:
What about a salicylic acid wrap?
What do you recommend for acne scars on face?
That looks like it would anger my easily angered skin.
What is recommended for wrinkles? Besides Botox, fillers or surgery. I've heard fillers can leave bumps and not always work...
I use salicylic acid serum and retinal and my pores look exactly the same.
Aging, thinner skin takes more attention. Have to be very careful removing strip.
We used to use that gray shipping tape for this before they discovered the other.
The pore strip I used pulled out no clogged pores. It irritated my skin and left gunk on my nose.
I use Laroche Pose skincare and then peroxide as a toner
Make sure you're not allergic to benzol peroxide! More common than you may think.
Yup, proactive was a saving grace for my skin until I started swelling. Nothing has worked since and now I have massive pores and sebum buildup like crazy
@@noeasyshyba You could try a lower concentration of bp. My system was okay with it as a topical til it got to either 5% or higher. It's used in many products and Food, as a mild bleach, so it's hard to completely lose it.
I don't recommend using pore strips. Especially don't recommend using pore strips if you use active like tretinoin
Tretinoin 0.025% topical cream is good?! Daily or 2 time a week? Thx
But, please. I'm using nose strips all the time. There is no discolorization if you're not already saunbathing to much
I got permanent scarring from using pore strips and I haven’t used them since
Pore strips is just a temporary fix. Cleaning and exfoliating and masks prevent from ever having blackheads
What would u use instead ?? Drop a pic of product pls
I dont like retinoids. Theyre too drying!! just use AHA/BHA's (salicylic acid)
A healthy diet is how you prevent this
I love a good pore strip but I pay the cost for months with the broken skin on top of my nose and an occasional large white head.
Which are the best ones I've tried loads and don't work like this
Um I need to know what pore strip they’re using!
Yeah, but which strips are this? Asking for a friend lol
Aha Bha peels are only for prevention. They don't remove what is there already. You need to peel it off using strips.
Homemade strips made with a base of egg whites are quite effective and not traumatic to the skin.
It's not for people with dry or normal skin, it's for oily skin.
Its amazing what a face route will do for you.
I heard those strips are not good. They actually will create more of the problem that you are removing. The skin will produce more of what you removed.
I don’t know if this is true, but I’ve also heard that these stretch the pores and make them stay bigger over time.
Last time I used one of those I got like the sticky stuff stuck over are in one of my pores and I had a giant pimple that was extremely painful and was there for like 3 weeks, it left a small scar, never again.
Not me watching this with a charcoal pore strip on right now👁👄👁
It sure is satisfying to watch tho. I literally go "Ahh" at the end. Lol!
This is as satisfying as popping bubble wrap.
I tried the salicylic acid by CeraVe but it's dry my skin out so bad what do you recommend and the pore strips did discolor ar th bridge of my nose
Forget nose pore strips i need one for my entire face
But if your using pore strips then you don't worry about prevention because you've already got it. How instead of telling us how to prevent. Yes it's handy to know. But how do you fix it when you have it?
Use a brand new soft toothbrush it will remove all the dirt.
I tried one yesterday night, I now have what looks like a hickey on my nose bridge😭 can anyone explain why my blood vessels popped? Because I have a tattoo appointment in 4 days and I know I’m gonna get a few looks 😂
I would probably borrow telescopic camera to see that things clearly
Washing face daily soap & water. Use oxy 10.
Why does hyaluronic acid and niancinima cerave clenser and Moisturizer burn when ever l used it.
I tried this one time and I will NEVER do it again. I cried like a baby it HURTS
But the pore steps are like a new furry pet 😍
I scrub with Dove and hydrogen peroxide.
can someone tell me how do i include a retinoid into my routine which actually helps my skin
These never work this good for me. Like wtf
Where u get these I tried tons of these n they don't do anything
Me using both benzoyl peroxide and salaclyic acid cleanser and still having blackheads 😐
Try a sulfur soap then. Sulfur is a mineral in the human body and is present in all living tissues. It will help you make your skin look healthier by getting rid of pimples and blackheads and removing dead cells. Remember, two gentle washes a day are enough. But didn't mix the 2. It's too drying.
Can you not use retinol if you’re pregnant?
