Just rub ice 3 times a day. The coldness will tighten the pores in your skin around those areas and all the dirt and oil that’s stuck in your skin will get squeezed out. And no dirt or oil will get in when the pores tighten up. Make sure to wash and scrub those areas with warm water before so the pores are open because of the heat. Then apply ice.

well the difference is the long-term and short term effects, if you really have a severe issue with those pores/sebaceous filaments then you may want to invest that money into something that might do you better in the long term. Pore strips though cheaper are fairly temporary solutions a lot of the time and frankly can be pretty rough on your skin making things worse. It’s all about research and personal preference

@@your.local.multistan It's best advised to find out how the company wants you to use their cleanser, but I usually do: step 1. Oil cleanse first (I usually do mine on dry or slightly damp skin) 2. Let the oil sit for 1-2 minutes so the good stuff in the oil absorbs into the skin 3. Wash off with a damp wash cloth (especially cause the oil I use clogs my drains haha) 4. Follow up with my normal face wash
Hope this helps, but always remember to get a second opinion cause I'm not an expert lol, and always pay attention to how new steps in your skincare are affecting your skin

speaking from personal experience, you can use pore strips sometimes, but the best they can do for you is nothing. you don't need a 15 step skincare routine, ALL you need is to wash your face once in the morning, once at night, use 1 moisturizer after washing that works for YOU (not something influencers tell you to buy, you just gotta trial and error your way through it, also they don't need to be expensive to be good), and wear sunscreen when you go outside. thank you! I have sebaceous filaments and I had listen to another dermatologist and he said if you have these than use an oil based cleanser and rub it on your nose for five minutes, use a clay mask here and there, and use niacinamide. But I didn’t get an exact routine so I was kind confused and now I know what to do ☺️

I think the film forming agent can actually clog the pores… so it will remove stuff but you’ll keep going back to these strips bc it keeps coming back. I think they’re handy for when you’re having an event and want to get rid of sebaceous filaments but not as a solution to the problem.

When I was in my teens., I used to apply warm towel on my nose with whiteheads. It works. It didn't leave me with visible pores

Also, using the strips can fatigue the pores and lead to a more 'lax' and 'open' appearance.

Captions help me a lot. They are auto generated so they can be off but not with this one.

    Milk....
Just use a cotton ball and dip in milk... Milk has a very weak acid... Spread milk over skin, let dry.. You'll feel it contract... Use a washrag in hot water to clean... Feels really clean, so cheap...

I just make sure to regularly clean my face and before I go to bed, I use a clear skin thing that’s in a blue bottle that’s designed to help with spots and preventing them. It’s usually around £3 or £4 in the uk

I honestly think less is more when it comes to skincare as long as you have a routine amd products that are for your skin type
