Theorists, it's Morbin time! I know, I know. That meme is super old now, but it was part of what inspired me to make this theory in a way. Well, the Morbin meme at least meant I needed to take a second look at Morbius. Oh boy, did I take a second look. Specifically, I watched the trailer again and realized that the movie I was advertised was NOT the movie I saw. At ALL!. Is that even LEGAL? It was an amazing, no, morbtastic scene that will forever shape the way we look at movies....Though it was a little out of place in a PG-13 rated movie. I mean it was perfect, but witnessing Michael Morbius Morb on the Judge, the jury, his lawyer, and even himself somehow was...mature to say the least. It was beautiful but I mean...there are websites for this kind of stuff. Seeing kids in the packed theater watch this suspicious scene was actually scary and frankly morbed up. This is a scene that should have been in the Morby Cut of the film, not the theatrical release.
The thought of MatPat explaining the entire mcu timeline and lore in a court room is a hilarious concept and I would love to see it happen.
Especially if it really was judge Judy. She has zero patience for anything she deems foolishness... which is about 90% of all human activity at this point.

Honestly, morbius is one of the movies of all time. The script was written, the director directed and my favorite part, the actors acted, a real morbing legend. The morb was real with this one.

Here’s a theory for you… Could Marvel sue Sony for damaging the integrity of its storytelling by referencing their multiverse but not following the rules of said multiverse? I would never sue, best nights sleep I've had in years. Truly the epitome of middling, so bland it made vanilla spicy, so mediocre it made eternals mildly interesting in comparison. So middle of the road there actually was a line down the center of the screen for massive swathes of the flick. I can also say with 100% certitude, it was a movie Jared Leto turned up on set and was present.

The best comparison I can think of this is YTs copyright strike system. Even when humans review those videos, there are so many examples of misunderstanding, illogical rulings, and all kinds of other issues that arise. Now imagine people hired by the federal government doing the exact same thing but for ads… it would be a nightmare.
Well, he mentioned the "figure stuff out" argument -- don't we all learn at a young age that nearly every part of an ad is total BS?

Maybe this applies to the movie Kangaroo Jack. The trailers make it out to be a kids film about a talking kangaroo, but in reality the kangaroo barely appears and almost never talks (when it does, they pull the "it was all a dream" card immediately). In addition, the film has a variety of mature content in it, to the point that you could say it wasn't designed to have the rating it does and the advertising has a completely different feel to it.

Basically anyone can sue anyone for almost anything, but even if the suit is justified, the vast majority of people wouldn't be able to afford the legal process.
It's like that for much of the legal system for anything it seems. Sounds like pure cancer. People who need the legal system to help them the most won't be able to afford it right down to how time consuming it is.
This is literally the first piece of media I'm watching about this film, and prior to this I've heard two friends mention, on one occasion, it was bad. I find it kind of weird that this thing was able to fly under my radar for so long.

After Andrew's Spidey said that he "stopped pulling his punches", It actually lined up with the murderer graffiti to me, +the Oscorp logo and the two headlines in the daily bugle made me really think that Sony was planning to make the TASM universe their main one

I'm surprised MatPat hasn't made another Gravity Falls Multiverse Theory with all the new evidence out there. With Amphibia showing multiple times connections with Gravity Falls and even playing a bit alternate versions like Rick and Morty does in one episode, there's even a reference to Disney's Gargoyles, but it doesn't end there, thanks to Owl House also having a scene that shows that their human world takes place in the same human world as Amphibia's, Disney or at least the creators of these shows have really started to put together a secret multiverse~~

I started morbing at the age of 13. Ever since I learned how to morb, I couldn’t contain myself. I regularly skipped classes and lost my appetite if I hadn’t morbed for over an hour. Even though I was skipping school to maximize my morbing experience, my iq increased substantially and I started to taste colors. When my parents found out I was skipping school and getting bad grades, they confronted me about it. Then I explained to them the fascinating experience that is morbing. I told them that I was starting to taste colors, how I could see with my eyes closed, how I was being very positively affected by this. However, my parents thought I was crazy, so they sent me to a mental asylum. There, I taught all the mental patients the ways of Morbius and started a revolution. We all morbed our way out of the asylum and all went our own ways. When I returned home, my parents did not accept me. They said I wasn’t the same son they had birthed 14 years ago. I ate them. Quickly overcome with guilt, I swore to never hurt humans again and rather protect them. Since then, I have learned the value of preserving life and I am a very wise and powerful Morbius male.

Yes you can file a lawsuit CLAIM to sue someone. It would be referred to as a CLAIM until it was approved. You don’t have a lawsuit and you’re not “suing” anyone until it gets recognized by a court for a legitimate reason. I can’t say I’m a billionaire just because I submitted a request loan for a billion dollars, it has to get approved.

Legally, a dispute in civil court (in most states) must involve damages exceeding 20 dollars’ value, or an equivalent amount of non-monetary harm (mental or physical trauma, that sorta thing). The Red Bull case worked because it was a class action that involved years worth of offenses and testimonials ultimately amounting to millions in damages. It wasn’t one dude suing because he lost 6 bucks over a Red Bull can.

I actually did go in blind to morbius, somehow I managed to dodge all the ads before going and watching it on a double date with my girlfriend, her friend, and her boyfriend. I actually enjoyed it, I didn’t think it was a bad movie, and it certainly wasn’t a great movie; but it didn’t make me want to gouge my eyes out.
I never saw the trailers, or movie. Can i still sue?

Honestly, I’m my opinion? Morbious is the biggest movie I’ve seen recently in a way that really portrays that is is one of the *most* movies. It has characters, it has film.. truly a stunning movie as far as the movies have gone.

This whole Morbius "meme" felt Astroturfed from the moment I saw it, then as soon as it popped up Sony and Leto were ready and willing to take advantage of it. I'm certain this whole thing is just Sony desperately trying to save their shared universe.
My favorite part of the video is when Matt went “It’s Mattin time”
I wanted to see Morbius when I first saw the trailer, but I only had time to see one movie that month so I chose to watch Sonic 2 (because I'm more of a Sonic fan then I am a Marvel fan). I then later learned that basically no one saw Morbius, and most of those that did, say that it's not good. So while I still want to watch the movie, I'm glad I didn't waste money to see in theaters. On a more positive note, Sonic 2 was pretty good. I'm hyped for the third one to come out.
