Thanks for doing Jeff a nice memorial. I knew him at New Boston high school, incredible player and very nice person.

Yeah, shame he got falsly accused of abusing his gf aswell
Rip Jeff ! Tk we fwu !

Jalen Reagor over Justin Jefferson is still crazy even to this day 💀💀💀
People forget that Mahomes wanted CEH. This is why GMs dont let Quarterbacks make draft day decisions 😅
This feels bad to say but I almost forgot about the news of Gladneys passing, I really loved him coming out of college and I wished he could’ve been a Viking for life, even in passing he’ll be remembered as a Viking for life❤❤
Same, I had high hopes for Gladney & Dantzler. They were both progressing well in their first season, and then everything went pear-shaped for both of them. I really thought Pat Peterson had started to put Cam on a better path, but he got there too late for Jeff.
I obviously knew Jefferson was great, but seeing the stats for his first three seasons is still jawdropping. What a steal for the Vikings.
CEEDEE LAMB IS A BEAST ⭐️
Thanks for showing respect for Jeff, loved watching him at TCU. Great video man like always, keep it up.
Vikes keeping the TCU faith and weirdly have now signed the two other TCU players from Gladney's draft - Jalen Reagor and Ross Blacklock.
Honestly, you should do an "S" tier rating for the best pick per round. Saved for guys like Mahomes, Burrow, Jefferson, etc.
Ooof! That would be hard in 2020, as Joe Burrow, Justin Herbert AND Justin Jefferson all went in the first round.
I would recommend an S Tier for players like Justin Jefferson, Micah Parsons, Burrow, etc. Unicorn players deserve their own level without taking away from people like CeeDee, Waddle, or Rashawn Slater, who are still absolute A+ smash picks.
I fell you but I look at my boy ceedee as borderline unicorn himself
These are grades, not tiers
I was gonna say that JJ should be an A++, while someone like Herbert should be an A+, at least so far.
The CEH pick will forever bother me. I think Johnathan Taylor was also still available when KC decided to draft Clyde. Just an absolute waste of a first round pick on a guy nobody evaluated as a first round talent
U know who was right after him too? Tee Higgins and Pittman. Worst First round pick possible
"CEH" Mahomes said he wanted him and he busted. If rodgers did it everyone who call him a spoiled diva but since it was mahomes nobody cares.
i thought CEH was gonna be a very good back in the nfl. just the way he played at LSU, thought he’d be a good to very good back even though i liked JT and swift more
Mahomes wanted him and he had a historical rb season at LSU
@@clintholmes2061 What? The dude mainly busted do to injuries he was good in the passing game, and he averaged 5 YPC. The problem was injuries and taking a RB in the first is silly especially when they passed on Taylor. But it isn’t mahomes being a “diva” he just took Juju and MVS and a bunch of no ones and kelce to a super bowl win and 14 win season
So sad what happened with jeff gladney. Gets cut then charges are dropped I'd say Vikings jumped to soon then gets a fresh start & tragically passes away 😢😢 rip gladney he was a good guy & another reminder life is short and cherish your moments in life never know if it will be your last
Happy to see you get sponsors. Love and respect your style of non-shock reliant content. Keep up the great work Mr. Analyzer.
Thank you Michael 😁
Rest in Peace Jeff G. As a Vikes fan you will always have a place in my heart
Justin J! You ought to hand out one MVP for the draft. It would be a way to distinguish between the A or A+ picks
Best player would be more fitting. The MVP is definitely Burrow when considering the Bengals went from league worst to perennial contender in under 2 years.
@HDRookie agreed qb just a more important position jj a better wr than burrow is a qb but burrow is easily worth more cuz of his position
Great breakdown Amigo ✌️❤️🏈
The Isaiah Wilson trade was even worse for the titans. They had to attach a 7th to Wilson to receive a 7th back 😬
You have a very good Sports Channel, I love your content and your voice is perfect for the job. Keep it up, you know how to talk football better then most other channels who focus on drama. Thank you I am a fan
Second this.
Thanks man for your great videos. We appreciate it.
CEH isn’t necessarily a bad player, but he misses like 5 games a year and is not near good enough to make up for it, Jerick McKinnon and Isaiah pacheco are both much better than he is
As always thanks for the spicy content! 🙏🏻
can you add an end slide that highlights the picks and your overall grade you give them? Good wrap up to look at at the end
Im playing madden and listing to this on my levno love your channel!
My thoughts on the dolphins picks
1st: We took 6’1 Tua over 6’6 ROTY Herbert
2nd: We took a Young Injury prone lineman who plays every position badly.
3rd: We took the most generic slow Corner who’s now our 5th or 6th stringer.
4th: Robert Hunt is a Huge steal 10/10
5th: Raekwon Davis is a developmental solid DT
6th: Brandon Jones should have went in the late 1st or early 2nd so getting him in the 3rd round was great.
7th-Rest: Not on the team
... should have gone* ...
Your franchise asked the coach to lose games on purpose then fired him for not losing enough games. I hope y’all never make it to a super bowl because y’all don’t deserve too
Tuas still be good besides the injuries when he plays they win
Ayyyy a Maryland CZcamsr!
You really did a great job on the Gladney slide.
As a Raiders fan, sometimes it's easy to have the blinders on and focus on how bad we are at drafting in the 1st rd. But damn, a lot of other teams whiff on 1st rd picks too.
In all honestly I think it is because several of these first round busts left quietly while the raiders first round busts left in making a lot of noise.
@@natefountain5126 great point.
The Raiders have definitely had the most draft busts. Some of them were horrible reaches we all knew were bad picks. Ferrell, Arnette and Leatherwood were so over drafted I just assumed the Raiders were just picking names out of a hat. Mayock might be the worst talent evaluator of all time.
Fire video
W vid by the best man
Videos like this make me really nervous for the draft
Titans have had a rough stretch of first rounders.
4:59 NAH, that highlight package is nasty 💀😂😂
I think without the Reagor whiff we would have never picked up AJ Brown. I can see why people liked Reagor when he came out of college, he has burst speed and can accelerate really quickly.
Imagine drafting JJ and THEN trading for AJ.
You would have won the SB by 17+ points
Reagor is still only 24 and finally gets to work with an accurate QB for a full off-season. I think there is still a chance for him.
As a Chiefs/Badgers fan who pounded the table for JT, the Clyde pick will haunt me forever
I honestly think that pat queen deserves a B+ or an A, and brooks is also just so so underrated I think an A- is definitely deserved but everything else I think is spot on
My Bengals grades:
Pick 1, QB: Joe Burrow: A+ (Pretty much saved this franchise)
Pick 33, WR: Tee Higgins: A (Very solid wide reciever and a main part of the offense)
Pick 65, LB: Logan Wilson: B+ (Great linebacker that has made some amazing plays and is a very underrated coverage LB)
Pick 107, LB: Akeem David Gaither: B (Great rotational linebacker, and good value for the 4th round.)
Pick 147, DE: Khalid Kareem: D- (Hasn’t anything, now on the Colts.)
Pick 180, OT: Hakeem Adeniji: B (Great value in the 6th and is a solid replacement tackle that was slotted in the playoff game Vs. Buffalo and played fine.)
Pick 215, LB: Markus Bailey: C- (Hasn’t done much but for a 7th it is kind of expected.)
Isaiah wilson story is crazy not only flamed out with titans but immediately fumbled his 2nd chance. Crazy how we get these stories every once in a while sucks for the fanbase but cant exactly predict these things
Didn’t know you were from Maryland that’s awesome!
I love aiyuk, not only is he an excellent route runner with great yac abilities but he one of the better blocking WRs in the league.
I’m very happy with the A grade
Mad respect for not giving gladney a grade @FootballAnalysis
Appreciate as usual.
You should incorprorate S-tier, for the likes of Mahomes, Jefferson etc. Picks that are of HoF caliber and franchise altering. Thus Lamb is A+ and Jefferson S-tier.
Love your videos!
Thank you!
Bro this draft had so many terrible players. Wilson, igbounawie (no clue how to spell it), Jackson, chassion, Arnette, ruggs, Henderson , ceh, reagor. And Ruiz, queen, love and Murray haven’t been great, but can turn into stars
Correct assessment. Yet, if you don't know how to spell a name, google and wikipedia are always there to help you (not to mention you could just have copied it from the captions).
Ruggs wasn't terrible his off field decisions were
To be fair, none of those players should have even been taken that high besides arguably Henderson but even then i still had Diggs, Terrell, and Fulton all higher
Everyone just reached their asses off for no reason in this draft 😂
@@iiLitez I think the pandemic screwed up the pre-draft process for many teams. The Ravens outright admitted this with their 2020 evaluations a year later.
@@thek3289 good point
Loved the video! Get a better hair cut tho,(Jokes) Much love, keep it up
Totally agree on Aiyuk and Lamb. Both are excellent players who happen to be at the wrong team.
Nah, Aiyuk is on the right team. Not for his personal stats, but he serves a very important purpose on the Niners: he is the field stretcher.
Damn that's crazy how the Dolphins literally had 3 first round picks in 2020 but only i was good, and that's of Tua's career doesn't prematurely end due to injury
Aiyuk never seems to take the next step and break out as the true WR1 in SF
It's not him, it's the offense. He's not that much worse than Jefferson.
He was never gonna be that. The 49ers knew what they were getting when drafting him. A really good #2
Thank you for not rating Jeff Gladney may he rest in peace😞🪦
my steelers grades
claypool: C-
not including trade. showed flashes but ultimately did little. steelers absolutely fleeced the bears.
highsmith: A
a very good starter, likely staying on for years to come.
mcfarland: F
next to nothing.
dotson: B-
couple years out of him as a starter. not bad for a fourth.
brooks: D
got a couple games out of him i guess. more of a practice squad guy, which in round 6 is fine
davis: C
bounced on and off for 2 years. for a seventh ill take a role player
Mayock wasn't to blame for the raiders bad picks. If you notice, all the late round raider picks were above average which is where Mayock's picks came while the early round picks were all Gruden's picks. Gruden was given way too much control over the Raiders while he was there and that played a major part in their terrible teams under him.
Nice to meet another Garrett* (my name spelling). Not many of us.
Can you do the 2018 draft
Brandon Aiyuk is a great player, but the 49ers could have done even better. They had two first round picks and wanted to spend one on a WR. Then they used their first pick for DT Javon Kinlaw with CeeDee Lamb and Justin Jefferson still on the board.
I feel bad for Jeff Gladney, teams got to stop releasing players until they are found guilty.
Or else these crazy women will think that lying about this can give them power.
This draft is such a cautionary tale about trading up, overrating players, and how hit and miss the draft can be. And possibly also one of patience for players like Chaisson, Jackson and Reagor who are all still very young, and younger than half of this years draft class. Trench players especially often emerge in years 3 and 4.
No way CD can be an A+ though, unless Jefferson is A++.
I know you made that almost one-off look at the 2nd round of the 2020 class last year, but maybe instead of looking at the whole class, you could do “other notable players” to highlight some of the other diamonds in the rough, the rough, and the diamonds yet to be cleaned throughout the drafts, might be a more condensable video.
It feels like the grades have been very forgiving. Basically A, B or C. For most of the picks you could give a grade lower to actually match "A+ is for a generational talent" requirement. There are only 2 x A+ drafts in this, Burrow and JJ. Herbert and Lamb should be A, and all lower from there.
In what universe is Jefferson not an A+ too though?
@@DunlapZazoombazaffodil I was referring to Justin Jefferson as JJ. He is A++++
@@kobus_n wow I misread that as “Burrow & J Herbert” my bad man I need to work on my reading skills 🤦🏼♂️🤦🏼♂️
@@DunlapZazoombazaffodil Lol, I can see how that happened.
The Dolphins drafted Austin Jackson with the pick they got from the Minkah Fitzpatrick trade too
R.I.P. Jeff Gladney 🙏
Aiyuk is comparable to Diggs imo with his route running and ability to read coverages. As the first option in an offense he’d have a similar breakout to Diggs I’m extremely confident in that.
I feel like CEH isnt a bust, chiefs just went with the newer model. over 1,000 yards rookie season doesnt equal bad, dude just needs to be a starter, like his first round pick talent suggests.
As a vikes fan gladney was special 😢
Seat Geek doesn't have license rights for NFL games so the tickets are always more expensive than ticketmaster, sadly.
This is why I never hype teams with multiple first round picks. We see how they waste them on players like Arnette, Austin Jackson, Javon Kinlaw, etc, etc.
How do u evaluate the success of oline?
You can’t leave the video without say R.I.P Jeff Gladney
Jerry Jeudy in 2022
972 yards
6 TDs
14 games played
Brandon Aiyuk in 2022
1012 yards
8 TDs
17 games played
Jeudy also was the second most targeted player on his team while Aiyuk lead his team + his QB play was better
But somehow Aiyuk is an A and Jeudy is a C🥴
Aiyuk is so overrated, I swear.
I think you can give Love a D--not necessarily for the player, but because the asset management. They traded up to draft a replacement QB but then chickened out of the rebuild and have but themselves in a really bad spot with nothing to show for it.
Also--Murray having good stats but underachieving, not reading the game well, and frustrating the fans...where have I heard that before?
You want to reevaluate that?
I know “F-“ is not a grade, but it should be invented to grade Reagor.
Ill say it again, next time you drop these vids you should really drop 17-32 first before you drop 1-15
As a die hard, lifelong Cowboys fan, I'm glad we got CeeDee, trust me. Lamb has been an absolute beast for us and has definitely solidified himself as a top 3 receiver. BUT Cowboys fans, just imagine if we had gotten JJ instead 😳
Lamb was a little generous. I think he’s great I just would’ve gave him an A since he’s not on Jefferson’s tier and the cowboys could’ve selected JJ. I’m glad they didn’t though 😂
Ironic that reagor is not in the Vikings
Thank you dolphins for Minkah
Naw the Love pick is an F. It did nothing to help GBs last few seasons with a HoF QB and their best shots at winning another SB probably for several more years to come. There has been plenty of C grade QBs to be had between 2020 and now they could've picked up for less then a first. To really put this in perspective, GB wouldn't even be worried about QB now, they could've waited all the way to next season to worry about QB.
This aged well.
As an Eagles fan I am not emotionally ready for this video
Your grading system is off. B- should been a C, another at F should be D… I could go on and on. The video itself is great!
Honestly the Isaiah Wilson pick was so bad that there should be a new tier dedicated just for him. Biggest draft bust in history. Even the likes of Ryan Leaf and Jemarcus Russel won a game or two for their teams.
I dont think players that have managed to stick on NFL rosters should get the same F grade as those that are already out of the league and we're total wastes of picks.
k9 should at least be a D, it is so hard watching him play sometimes
I feel like these are all a little high
Imagine Jordan Love going crazy and being an Elite QB an the Saints could’ve had him 🤔, pshhhh 😤 I hope my packers done the right thing 🙌🏾
I thought Edward- helaire was just average coming out of LSU. It was just nothin special about him as a back. He wasn’t explosive nor was he quick and he wasn’t fast either. Which isn’t good when your a undersized back. I think he just benefited from light boxes because of his talented receiver teammates and QB. Nothin about him stood out as an athlete.. so when the chiefs picked him at number 32 I was like huh? What were they seeing on film.
I try to ignore the reagor pick
Jordyn Brooks has really bad coverage stats but they might be because of seattles terrible defensive scheme. In Bobby Wagner’s last year he had really bad coverage stats too because the make the linebackers do way too much in coverage like covering receivers
Do the Seahawks put their linebackers in man coverage situations often?
@@thek3289 no but they played a lot of base defense when they should have gone with nickel or dime coverages
Jordan Love went from Incomplete to A-.
A very fair evaluation, but I think you missed the mark on Love. If you are grading the player, an incomplete is only fair. But if you are grading the pick, I think a D would be fair grade- not an F because you at least got a backup quarterback. But if you got that little production out of a first round pick, then the drafting was a failure.
"a backup quarterback" They traded up in the first. If you only got a backup QB it's an F. Ultimately the pick is an F because of the guy he was picked to replace. Good GMs replace weak links. Incompetent GMs try to replace MVPs not looking to retire.
Grade round 2
Steelers get an A for trading their first for Minkah frickin Fitzpatrick
You can make the argument that Miami whiffed on all 3 picks..
I can agree the Jordan Love himself is an incomplete grade. But if you go by what GB could have had instead (1 WR, plus one other player), this is an F.
F as in Fucking great?
@@franzschubertv2874 lol, ok. I will give to you that the second half was amazing. Still wonder if we could have gotten another SB with Rodgers if we would have drafted him WRs like we did Love. Hopefully GB continues in 2024 what they started in 2023.
@@jeffperkins8921 the 5 receivers taken after Love have a grand total of zero pro bowls between them. Tee Higgins and Michael Pittman are good players though. But I don’t see how they would have been making a huge difference.
Jaguars and Raiders: F-
Nothing against love but I still to this day think that pick cost the packers atleast 1 SB
I thought Jordan Love was a 2nd round pick idk why
And now?
Rip gf💔
If a first round qb after 3 years is still an incomplete grade without injuries playing a part in it in my eyes makes it a D pick because you would not make the same excuse you used in this video for any other position than qb. Also just in general getting practically zero production from a first round pick over the first 3 years would warrant a bad draft grade
You were saying?
There is a lot to say about green bay taking love at 26 and hurts still being on the board... it is a shit pick considering.
So you think Hurts is better than Love?
Noel Ig gets an F even though he's still with Miami but Isaiah Wilson gets an F even though he's the definition of bust I think Noel should of got at least a D Wilson F-
CD an A+? He’s good but I feel JJ is the only receiver to deserve that honor
With the massive leap that CeeDee took last year to replace Amari Cooper as a #1 receiver, I think CeeDee Lamb is an easy A+ grade for the Cowboys as well. By the end of his career, I bet that he is just as good and important to the Cowboys as Jefferson is to the Vikings. Both players are A+ selections and amazing WRs.
@@Zaxtor99 yeah but we’re talking about what he has done now and his best season is ironically Jefferson worst
Do 2022-2023 2nd round 1 year later plssss
